Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

They did good work, showed up on time and the service technician was very polite and professional. My only complaint is that they are VERY expensive. I called them as it was a Sunday and we needed the drain cleared that day. I was Ok with paying a surcharge for the Sunday (the informed me in advance of that) but their base price is also very high compared to other companies and the would not give me an estimate or even a range over the phone. I would consider alternatives if you aren't in the midst of a disaster.

For the price of the repair that was done I would have preferred to replace the entire water heater, which is something that I definitely hold against them. Since they are the supposed professionals. I would have expected them to advise me of all the options available to me. There was no follow up whatsoever and the only thing I ever saw was a big bill. They were on time and conducted themselves professionally, but I wouldn't recommend them.

The problem happened on July 3rd in the early evening. We were having a big party the next day and needed this problem solved quickly! A technician came out within two hours and did a very thorough job. He was very friendly and efficient. He gave me a 120 day warranty for the work. I felt that the price was a little high, but we needed it, and they came quickly.

We have always been very pleased with the quality representation of this company. They normally come out within the day, the prices are competitive, and they always clean up really well after themselves when they are finished.

Other companies told us that they would have to do a lot more work than what was really needed. They saved us money because they were able to get it done quickly. We needed the sink badly. They were really great and we liked them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Called four other companies and had a rough idea of my need would cost. I needed the main clean-out snaked. The call center does not have the price lists on hand. Therefore, the technician comes out and gives a quote. You are then free to accept it or not. I knew the price should not have much over $100 so imagine my shock when my son called me and told me the estimate was $165. I asked my son to tell the technician I would pay $100 tops. The technician walked away without a word to my son. I will say however that they did arrive promptly and at the appointed time. In fact, they were a little early which is why my son had to handle the issue.

Every time I use them the work is done perfectly, which is a rarity.

The job was somewhat expensive but that was understandable based on the type of job that needed to be done. Plus, Roto-Rooter gives a one year warranty. Overall experience was positive.

Rule learned: do not put grease down grinder drain with other material. Plumber was prompt, knew his business, polite and informative. Price was OK and about what you pay for any plumbing call in this day.

I have very stubborn roots &, despite attempts to replace the sewer lines, there are still a few places they get through. Roto-Rooter is always very fast to respond & very professional about clearing them out. They also recommended some more long-term solutions but did not give me a hard sell. From now on, I will always call them first, because I wont have to call anybody else or wait for service.

The Roto-Rooter plumber was both courteous and efficient. Normal water draining was restored within 2 hours of my call. I was very pleased with the service and I will call them again if the water backup occurs again.

They worked quickly and efficiently. They were extremely polite and focused on problem-solving. They tried the cheapest means first, and when that did not work, tried the more expensive method. The whole process took about 45 minutes. I had called 2 days prior, the first day I did not call until 4pm, and cancelled at 7:30pm when they had still not shown up and rescheduled for after 5pm the next day and cancelled again when they hadnt shown up by 7:45pm. When I was available all day the 3rd day, They were scheduled to come between 10am and 4pm and came around 1pm. Worth the wait, they did a great job and cleaned up after themselves.

VERY FAST, PROFESSIONAL and RESPONSIBLE. DID WORK IN A CLEAN and EFFICIENT MANNER. GIVE'S A 30 DAY GUARANTEE ON ALL WORK.

It was on the weekend. We were totally surprised but happy that he was able to come out first thing in the morning at 8am. Told him that the toilet bubbled and he knew exactly were the problem was. We had a previous plumber that came out a week prior and apparently the problem was not fixed. Now it had been about two weeks and the toilet and shower are running well.

IT SEEMS LIKE THEY DID NOT DO THE JOB. THE YOUNG MAN TOOK A NAP IN HIS TRUCK BUT INSISTED THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE. THEY WERE POLITE. EXPENSIVE. HE WAS DONE IN 10 MINUTES BUT HAD TO CHARGE FOR FULL HOUR. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. MY DRAINS WERE NOT WORKING ANY BETTER AFTER THEY LEFT AND I NEED TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE DO THEM NOW.

He was competent, professional, and upfront. I showed him the problems and he gave me an estimate before the work started. The work completed was very well done. I wish there were more contractors like him. He was respectful and did not take advantage.

Mr. Watson arrived about three hours after I made the call to Roto-Rooter. He was polite and courteous. He unclogged the toilet and answered several plumbing questions thoroughly. He also checked the downstairs toilets on the same line.

THE JOB GOT DONE, BUT IT TOOK A LONG TIME AND COST MUCH MORE THAN I THOUGHT. SERVICE PERSON CONVINCED ME TO BUY A $46 LIQUID PIPE SHIELD PRODUCT WHICH IN RETROSPECT SEEMS QUITE OVERPRICED.

AFTER THE REPLACEMENT, THE SHOWER WORKED WITHOUT A LEAK FOR A FEW DAYS, THAN A LEAK ACCURED. THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY, AND SEALED A PLACE THAT HAD CAME LOOSE, ON A WEEKEND WITH NO CHARGE. IT IS NOW OK.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY PROMPT. THE PEOPLE WERE COMPETENT, AND PERFORMED AS I WOULD EXPECT EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS TO DO. THE FINAL PRODUCT WAS FINE AND GOOD.

IT WAS OVERALL PRETTY GOOD. THEY CAME ON TIME. THE PEOPLE WERE REALLY ON THE BALL. THEY CAME IN AND DID THE JOB AND LEFT. THEY ANSWERED ALL THE QUESTIONS. THEY KNEW WHAT TO DO. HE USED THE RIGHT TOOLS TO TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS. HE LET ME KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG AND FIXED A PROBLEM THAT WAS SIMILAR TO IT.

THEY WERE FINE. THEY FIXED THE CLOG. THEY ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME. THEY ACTED LIKE PROFESSIONALS. THEY WERE ON TIME. THEY WERE FRIENDLY PEOPLE.

OTHER THAN THE PLUMBER BEEN LATE ABOUT 1/2 AN HOUR LATE, THE REST OF THE SERVICE WAS GOOD. HE EXPLAINED THE REASON THE WATER WAS RUNNING SLOW WAS BECAUSE OF HAIR WAS CLOGGING THE PIPES.

ALTHOUGH WE PAID 100 PERCENT EXTRA FOR THE EMERGENCY WORK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, THE CLOG REMOVAL STOPPED THE PIPE LEAK. THEY SHOWED UP IN LESS THAN AN HOUR.

THE MAN WAS COURTEOUS AND QUICK IN CLEANING THE LINE SO THAT I COULD FLUSH MY TOILET AGAIN. THIS HAPPENED ABOUT 2 YEARS PREVIOUS AND I USED THEM THEN AS WELL.
