Description of Work: I needed three trees trimmed and shaped. Not only was Kerry's Tree Service the best quoted price, I am happy to say the work was done well. They arrived on time for both the estimate and for the actual work. When the work was done, the area was left clean of all debris. I was worried about my front yard perennials being damaged by falling branches. The crew installed barricades and plywood sheets to cover plants and deflect branches as they fell. Consequently, no damage occurred. I am very happy with their work, and I would contact them again.

Description of Work: Trim and thin out tree in back. Thin out and trim large tree that hangs halfway into my property. They did an excellent job and would definitely use them again. The large tree next to me is halfway over my property and had a canopy of palm fronds 20-30 feet up. Not the safest situation. Coincidentally LA had a very windy rain storm 2 weeks later and I was so thankful that I had the job done when I did. I'd use them again in a heartbeat!

Description of Work: Excellent on all phases of service from prompt quote to job completion. Removed a large tree close to house and neighbors yard. Cleaned up neighbors yard from sawdust and chips on their own initiative, well as mine. Tree had dry rot in trunk and I was concerned about Santa Ana Winds that were forecast. They advanced the original estimated work from their original quote. I am completely satisfied.

Description of Work: Trimmed our mature Oak tree which is on a hill, a tree in the front yard and two Japanese maples. while they were professional and punctual, I was unhappy with how much they thinned the Oak tree, but am not clear how much trimming is needed for proper care. Tree is front was good. I was very unhappy with the Japanese maples...they just took at trimmer and leveled the tops. this was not what I discussed with the person who came to do the bid and I specifically asked if this was their planned approach and he said no. Also, I didn't know if I should tip but the workers were clearly expecting one. It was awkward.

Description of Work: Our neighbor is complaining that one of the branches on our 70+ year pine tree is hanging over his backyard and interfering with his ability to enjoy outdoor living. I called two tree specialists from Angie's list, both licensed and certified. Both told me that cutting the branch in spring might lead to an invasion of bark beetles in our yard, their yard, and the neighborhood and best to wait until November. I appreciated the good advice, as someone else might just have quoted a price, done the job, and walked away from the consequences.

Description of Work: They communicated with me by email, which I prefer. I was sent quotes directly. They also gave quotes from visiting on their own time and pictures, without wasting my own time! They gave us the best price in the end, and they spent an entire day working. They were well worth the money, and they were also courteous and communicative. Their office was very easy to work with, as well.
