Technician showed up on time, performed the work, and gave a succinct summary at the end. No fuss, no muss.

Contacted two other companies. Joe Sepe responded promptly and discussed a couple different causes for the failing unit. He was available to come out early the next morning, between 8:30 and 9:30 am. Joe arrived promptly (had an assistant with him) and quickly assessed that the thermostat was in great working order. I installed it myself a few days prior as I tried to fix the problem myself. The problem was with the voltage that was actually getting to the heater. Diagnosed, repaired and work completed by 9:15 a.m.. The service call and parts for repair total of $150. Great service, highly recommend and will use again. a

I had an issue with a furnace that seemed to be short cycling. Called Joe on Sunday, he responded first thing Monday morning, contacted the tenants, arrived to the property discovered it was a dirty pilot sensor, cleaned it and the furnace is now blowing hot air again! Happy tenants. He charged me only for the diagnostic and that was applied to the work as well! Great, honest contractor. He will be my go-to for HVAC work!

Called Joe and he called back right away. Came out that afternoon and fixed the problem right away.

Arrived on time, cleaned outside unit of leaves and dust, checked puron levels, electrical connections, thermostat. Found no problems. In response to my questions about checking indoors, explained that the 'Joe Sep' winter seasonal check is a more thorough inspection/cleaning of the indoor blower/filter/heating unit. Did not check the indoor unit, or the actual temperature of air as released through the AC vents indoors which has been done by other companies with seasonal checks in the past--however the unit is cooling adequately. All in all--OK for the price.

We had had another provider out on the same problem a month before but they could not find what the problem was that had the system shutting itself off and on. In the middle of a heat wave it went down again and I called Joe Sepe who sent out Rick within an hour. He tested the thermostat and found it was not working right. I told him about a banging sound when the system started up and he found a part that was malfunctioning in the cooler on the roof. We were very pleased with the work and only paid a little more for a new thermostat and a replacement part than we had paid for the other provider who came out the month before and did nothing but look at the system and scratch his head. I see why Joe Sepe is a top rated provider.

Scheduled appointment next day and was on time. Called before coming and was able to pay via cc since I wasn't home. Whole process was very convenient and ac is working great.

This is the most recent of 4 times over the last several years that I've called on Joe Sepe for help with the central heat and air conditioning unit on my roof. I only wish I had known about this company when I was looking around to replace my HVAC unit almost 11 years ago now. There should be a category higher than an "A" rating for service professionals like Joe Sepe because "excellent in all categories" still doesn't sum up how highly I regard this company. They are the ultimate professionals and respond very quickly in an emergency, even when other companies seem unable to cope with the extra demands caused by extreme heat waves or unusual cold spells. The Joe Sepe technicians who arrive at the door -- always on time -- are extremely knowledgeable, able to diagnose the problem quickly, give a reasonable estimate that is always right on, and get the problem resolved on the spot if they have the part on the truck (and in most cases they do). If they need to order a part, which they did for this last repair, they were back first thing in the morning to complete the job and get the system back up and running. I have 100% confidence in their ability to diagnose a problem, explain clearly what needs to be done, provide an accurate quote, and skillfully complete the repair in the most timely manner possible. When the time comes that I need to replace my current system, I will definitely be calling on Joe Sepe to handle the job and, in the meantime, I will continue to use them for all my HVAC service needs. Great company!

Punctual and professional. Thisis the second time I have used this service and I would use them again.

They changed the capacitor in less than 15 min and charged $375. My husband googled the price of a capacitor and found it ran around $20. He refused to pay that amount and asked them to remove the part. He was going to pay their $75 service fee but then they lowered the cost to $150. Why didn't they charge a fair amount in the first place? A fair price should have been charged in the beginning. We will not do business with this company again.

One of the AC units was only blowing hot air. The repair specialist came on time and inspected the unit and discovered that my previous contractor had miswired the control unit. He rewired the control and voila, cold air! He did a full check of both AC units. I already referred my coworker in Encino to call them for his AC inspection.

Excellent professional service. The technician was great and gave us good advice to save on cost and only performed work that was truly needed. Also, he gave very good advice on future maintenance.

This was the best $39 we have spent. We paid an additional $100 for the cost of the freon. Would definitely recommend this company. We have signed up with them for annual inspection.

I purchased a Big Deal with them, and they emailed me right away with their phone number. When I called them, I spoke with a gentleman there who was very informative. He told me that the deal I purchased was to replace an existing A/C unit, and that he would not be able to install an entire system for the price of the deal, as I had no A/C duct work or hook ups in the house already.

The fan and the cooling unit were working but I could not get any heat from the unit. The tech came within the promised window of time and checked the HVAC unit which is on the roof. He found a spider web inside the "gas manifold orifice". He took the unit apart, cleaned it up, reassembled the unit and the heater started working again. Then came inside to test the unit; he had one of those infrared thermometers so he pointed it to the vent where the heat was coming from and confirmed it was working. No parts replacement needed so he just charged me the service call. Honest ! And he finished in one hour!

Our heater stopped blowing and we tried several times to get it running by turning off and on our system over several days. We then heard a loud metal crashing sound and could not imagine what it was. Ricardo from Joe Sepe's came out and found that one of the mounting bolts to the motor had come unscrewed and the motor fell into the fan (thus the large noise). This caused the motor to burn up and made it necessary for us to replace it. I knew this had to be true because of the sounds we heard from our attic. Ricardo had to order the part and returned the next day to replace it. I must note that he was precisely on time both days, which was great! We were given a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. We are very happy to have our heat and A/C running again!

The company followed up to schedule after I purchased the Big Deal. They gave us an appointment quickly. The technician showed up on time and did a great job.

Joe arrived at my home in a timely fashion and assessed my Gas Furnace. The Fan blower motor was non-functional. Prior to removal he assessed that the A/C circuit was getting to the fan motor. He removed the Fan motor and blower unit and said that he would return the following day with a new fan motor and re-install the blower unit. Joe Sepe called in less than 24 hours the next day. He had replaced the motor and was ready to re-install the unit. Joe and his son quickly performed the work and checked the system to make sure the blower motor was working. You could immediately feel the fan blower motor working. My Gas Furnace is an old Pioneer P-80 manufactured in 1961. Joe was able to replace the motor manufactured by Fasco which was the original maker of the fan blower motor. I had other Air and heating men come to fix my furnace they all said it should be replaced and not fixed. They provided me with huge estimate on how much it would cost to replace the fan motor upwards of $680.00. Joe Sepe did the repair for much less. I would call on him again for his expert service and knowledge. He now has our home warm and cozy once more which is important for those California cold nights FIVE STARS- would Recommend him, very professional

No complaints at all! I was very pleased with the way the job was performed.

At the first cold spell of the season my heater will not turn on. I call Joe and he happened to be passing by my area and was able to stop by to take a look within 1/2 hr. I was hoping that it was only the pilot light but no luck. Joe troubleshot the problem and determined the circuit board was bad. Unfortunately this is not a part he could pick up in a supply store. He was able to put in an emergency order and got the part the next morning and came by that same morning to complete the repair. He was fast and efficient and got everything working great within an hour. He also did a general service and cleaning and did a fantastic job there too. He was very honest and helpful, fully explaining the situation and my options. He went above and beyond to get it fixed fast in this cold weather. I will definitely call him anytime I need a heating/AC service or have an issue.

Was having a problem with our heat - it was clicking a few times before turning on. Joe told me what was wrong and suggested a fix. He and his son came back a few weeks later and replaced a module, explaining all the while what they were doing and even retrofitted a pipe which was not up to the latest code - for free. Joe also let me know details about the ductwork on the second floor. Very good experience.

The technician showed up promptly and was very thorough and professional. Tightening the contacts and replacing the original circuit breaker seems to have solved the problem, as the circuit breaker hasn't tripped again, even during 104-degree temperature. We've used Joe Sepe before and we are very happy with the complete and honest work that was done. We would definitely recommend him.
