My AC stopped working in the middle of the summer during the 100 plus degree valley heat. I called multiple companies and nobody could come for days. I called Joe Sepe Heating & Air Conditioning and all their techs were booked but the owner Joe was so nice that he came himself due the urgency. He was professional, honest, knowledgeable and friendly. Replaced the part on the condenser for a reasonable price and even gave me tips to prevent future issues. Thanks Joe!

I called Mr. Sepe on Sat. am (9/14/19) through the number on Angie's list. I got a voice message that everyone was busy helping customers but to leave a message and they'd get back to me. I left a message with my phone number, address, and the nature of the problem. Later in the day, around noon, when I still hadn't received a call back, I called the number on Mr. Sepe's website and left the same message. Still no callback. I waited until Tuesday without hearing from them so I called a third time (about 10am). I got the same "we're busy" voice message and left my same message (name, phone #, address, problem). Still no call back. I moved on and got the work done elsewhere. No judgement - maybe he's sick, maybe the business went bust, maybe he doesn't want my business. I don't know but it wasn't a good experience.

it went fantastic! couldn't ask for better. nick was exceptional and it is with great enthusiasm that i would recommend them to literally ANYONE. and i did! unfortunately, joe sepe does not serve the san gabriel valley = she will not be lucky like i am/was. which is very discouraging. but, again, joe sepe and his son nick = exceptional. professional. assessed what needed to be repaired and performed the repair on the same day. for a very reasonable price!

Heating was not turning on. Joe and his assistant inspected unit on roof and the electronic thermostat. Got the heat working within minutes of arrival. Identified the part that was not working properly and replaced it with a more reliable part. After examining the thermostat explained how the unit was working with a 2-stage heating levels. Very professional and consumer friendly. Will not hesitate to hire again. Seriously, considering annual check-ups by Joe Sepe Heating & Air!

Ten stars and a big applause for Joe Sepe Heating & Air Conditioning!! Joe recently installed a new heater and thermostat at my home replacing a scary old klunker. It was a tricky job as the space was super small and the heater needed to be compatible with a newer air conditioning unit that I didn’t need to replace. It took some keen problem solving skills on Joe’s part. Then he and his team executed a seamless installation. The unit works perfectly and I am extremely happy and grateful! Joe is a super nice, smart and trustworthy guy full of integrity. He was conscious of cost savings to me and very supportive in finding the best solution for my situation. He came over the day before Thanksgiving on barely a moment’s notice to evaluated the job, and I was toasty warm by the following Tuesday. If I have any other heating or air conditioning needs, hands down I will call Joe Sepe! I recommend Joe whole heartedly! “Thank you Joe… you have a customer for life!”

Examined everything. Found misplaced wire on Thermostat. I love these guys. They look for simplest causes. Honest and straightforward.

Our house was going up for sale so the last thing we wanted was to need a whole new unit when ours stopped working. Joe found that it was just a condenser that needed replacing for which we are eternally grateful.

The AC guy who came out was awesome!!! Very professional! He even picked up a piece of trash the trash guy dropped. He also recoiled my hose after he used it!

Left a message for service, cleaning. We were in a fire area, Creek Fire. Joe called, worker(his son) came out in hour or so. Very professional, friendly. He explained what he was going to do. They installed the unit 4 years ago. Very happy with this company. When we had our unit installed, then our neighbor & a friend had this company install their new unit.

The repairman replaced a couple of items on the compressor which was from the 70's

A decade ago, I was an onsite resident manager in an apartment building that Joe serviced. The management company liked his service, and I had met him several times to coordinate his service calls there. When I moved back into my house, I had an HVAC guy that I knew previously. He's gone now, so I called Joe. Our Central AC was blowing air, but not cold air. He came out, inspected the unit, cleaned it out and determined that the fault was in the thermostat. Knowing I was handy, he suggested I could buy one and replace it myself, or he could do it, but it would cost another $100. I was struck by his efforts to save me money. But he then noticed that I had knocked out a metal pin when I last replaced the batteries in the thermostat. He fashioned a new one, stuck it in and all was well! Awesome. He did all he did and only charged me his service charge. Wow. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

His price was not only competitive, but it was for quality equipment. Quite honestly, I've used nobody but them since I found them on Angie's List and I've used them a half dozen times for just like tune-ups and that kind of stuff. That's the only thing, he's so busy, he's hard to get a hold of. He was on time. Once you get them, they're here on time. Not only have I used him, I've referred him to friends and relatives. I've written a review on him before and have used him after that.

Very good service and responsiveness throughout. From the initial estimate to the completion of work, Joe was there to explain and offer alternative solutions. They worked effiently, finished the job on time and at the quoted estimate.

You don't need to call anyone else. This is the second time I have gone with Joe Sepe Heating and Air. This time for my Mom's place, he had the AC up and running same day I called. He had the Lennox fan motor on hand and done at a fair price. Very practical options presented and easy to work with.

Most recently for a system check up. I have confidence in them and service people that have come out have always been friendly and professional. And they like our dog!

A couple of years ago, on a referral from Angie's List, we began using Joe Sepe for the routine maintenance of our two home HVAC systems. They've always done a good job for us: professional, efficient and trustworthy. Earlier in September (of course, when it was super hot), our air conditioner stopped working. Joe's tech had told us that "death" was near for this system a couple of years ago. It dated back 26 years, so we had gotten our money's worth. When they came and inspected the system, they confirmed that the most appropriate strategy was a complete change out. They said that they would provide a quote. Joe is old school...what do I mean by that? He provided a verbal quote; I responded with some emailed questions that were a result of the other (written) quotes that I had received. I just wanted to make sure that I was comparing apples with apples. So the process was a bit more involved than if Joe had just prepared a (computerized) bid. But Joe's "old school" attitude means that his word is gold. They have always been here when they said they would be here, and that continued. The content of Joe's proposal was consistent with the other bids I received, and his price was better than the other two that I received. But what sealed the deal was my confidence that had been developed over the course of our prior relationship. I was not let down. Joe originally estimated that the job would take 1 1/2 days, but they got it done in one day. Neat, efficient, quality, professional. I think a small, but telling, aspect of any contractor's work is how the site looks at the completion of the job: In our case, the furnace closet was swept totally clean. The new AC is quieter and seems to more evenly provide air than the old system. The only issue (at all) is a chemical odor from the line flush, which is dissipating. A recommendation to Joe: Warn your customers! Was just a bit shocked by the smell (which you probably don't smell because you're around it all the time!)...so better to let people know in advance. This is a company you can trust. We will continue to do so. Keep up the good work, Joe Sepe and company!

The technician arrived on time and completed his work quietly and efficiently. He gave the unit a thumbs up and didn't try to sell us unnecessary repairs.

I called at around 7:30am the next day and got a recording. I left a message and got a call back around 8am. Joe said they would be here to take a look within a half hour. They actually made it in 20 minutes! Joe and his repair man got right to it and quickly diagnosed that our outdoor unit had a blown capacitor. They had the part in the truck and replaced it on the spot. They also took great care to clean out the dust and cobwebs that can collect in the nooks and crannies of those units. They hosed off the unit and were completely done in about 15 minutes. I couldn't be happier with their promptness, their knowledge, and the level of service!

The entire experience was great from booking the appointment and having Richard come out the same day. I had a small wheel cover that was coming loose and kept us awake at night during heating. Ricardo removed it, inspected and tuned up our unit. He also added a new temporary filter while my reusable was drying (it started to rain). I will use Joe Sepe Heating and Air Conditioning again for when it's time to use my A/C.
