Response from Human Nature Design & Construction Inc
Dear Member, I'm sorry you were unhappy. Please see all of the 6 times I contacted you regarding your project down below. Within 10 days of our meeting at your house I had gone to the city to do the research, written and sent you a proposal and l left you voice mails and emails. As I explained, and as you know, I did not charge you for any of this . I feel I did all I could in the time allotted. You have decided to go with someone else and I wish you good luck with your project. Best Regards, Leo Norel Respond: 6 out of 6: Thanks. But it is only fair I pay you for your time...also I will have this project coming up. I have a day program for delayed children and we have to move as our landlord wants the space, we are looking and will need partitions and a changing room with potties chairs. Please, see down below my response to you back on 10.22.12. Not to worry. You owe me nothing for my preliminary research at the City and for writing you a proposal for your project. I'm glad that you found solution to the problem without getting a City permit. Regarding your Angie's List Coupon. I did however want you to know that I did go into the City to check on the project, and do a little research last week and I left you a voice message and today as well with a few questions that I still had regarding the storage back wall. Here are my findings: Due to the fact that your non-permitted storage back exterior wall is located on your backyard property line,I went to the City last week to get some answers for my concerns,(without mentioning your property address). Here are my recommendations: It is important for us to do the following before starting the Construction: 1)Inform your backyard neighbor about your future project.(Your storage exterior wall acts as a fence between you and your neighbor). 2)Getting a City building permit for your project, for the reasons mentioned. 3)Due to the fact that there is 2'-0" to 3'-0" high different between your property and the neighbor, your storage back exterior wall acts as a retaining wall and a fence. If you do remove it, the dirt may collapse towards your property and you also will lose the fence between you and your neighbor. That is why we are recommending that you build a new garden wall and a new fence on top of it, if you decide to remove the storage. I realize you have decided to go with someone else, but if you have any more questions or concerns, Please feel free to call.
