Description of Work: I had lots of little stuff to do (more like handyman stuff) and even though Leo was totally professional and a very nice guy, they did some plumbing and electrical and much of it I had to do over because they were sloppy. Electrical was better than the plumbing. I asked them to move a toilet and it was crooked. After they installed a plumbing fixture it leaked. That kind of stuff. I was hoping they would make my life easier and it just got more complicated.

Description of Work: Work not performed due to a problem at my end. Contractor not at fault in any way.

Description of Work: Leo answered my emaisls very fast. He came out to give me an estimate. Very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. I wanted two smaller windows added to a bedroom for more light. I had another estimate from another company and he asked for a copy which I gave him as he said he would give me a better price. He did not unfortunately. I also wanted him to install two ceiling heater/light fans in bathrooms and again, his price was just too high. I think if you can afford his prices, he is probably a great contractor and I would have loved to work with him. However, I don't like the fact that he complained about how much Angie's List takes from his end for their cost to offer the deal, and that is why he has to charge more. I have many friends that do these types of deals elsewhere, and while the company does take a good amount of money for offering the deal, the people I know that do it, honor it and give the service at the amount they paid, not trying to add cost to it. I wish Leo had done this as I had many more upcoming jobs at properties we own. Unfortunately, on Angie's List, I've had too many of these experiences.

Description of Work: the contractor came out, I expected a call back with plans within a week , that did not happen and I hired a group to do the job. I have talkked to Human Nature design and he said since he did not do the work I should apply for a full refunf from Angie's list. I have contacted you and have not yet gotten a response. Pleae refund my money.

Description of Work: We remodeled two Bathrooms . We changed the whole look of the Master bathroom to a more modern style, with new fixtures, a seperate toilet closit, a granite countertop on a double sink custom vanity. My boys bathroom was made larger with dual doorways into each bedroom and a new walk in shower. We added a tube light in each bathroom. We had a complete Kitchen remodeling. Me made it much larger by taking out the interior wall deviding the kitchen and family room and creating a Great Room. We went a little over the top by doing a cabinet that we'd been designing ourselves and having them make it custom. It turned out very Beautiful. We chose a granite countertop and new appliances. We had them put in hardwood flooring. They changed the plumbing from galvanized to copper, and they rewired the kitchen and bathrooms completly.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a contractor for a week. We wanted to remove a part of a wall as well as expanding our bathroom.

Description of Work: Called about Angie's list Deal $1299 for 40 hours of general contracting labor. He asked me what the job entailed, I told him installation of two windows in stucco, he changed his tune and said he didn't want to do the work and was too busy. Deal FAIL! [UPDATE] Contractor calls me, with BLOCKED caller ID, to try and get me to change my negative angies list report! Nothing mentions that he can pick and choose which jobs he wants to do. Our discussion quickly escalated into shouting as his arguments were irrelevant and frankly insulting. The fact is, as a smart consumer, I called the person performing the work to ask questions BEFORE dropping $1299. He WAS initially interested in the job until he heard the details, the he said he was too busy, then finally he said flat out he won't do it! I'm glad I called before paying $1299, jeeze! Maybe the ad should say "Contractor will pick and chose which jobs he wants to do based on how easy the job will be". Description of Work: We used Human Nature Design & Construction to do some designs for me on my home. I am interested in a barbecue area. I last used them for a landscaping design because they also do landscaping work.

Description of Work: Human nature design expanded my kids' bedrooms, remodeled my kitchen, adding about 750 sq ft. to my house. They opened up my floorplan exactly as we had hoped, and added a skylight into our bathroom and hallway. We completely re-designed the interior of our house, and updated it to a more modern style. We also designed a new front entry, and backyard patio to flow better with our pool.

Description of Work: This is for an existing two-story family house with a two-car garage. We did interior design for the complete house: for the kitchen we altered the layout--selection of appliances, counter top and cabinets--and for two bathrooms we added new tiling and redesigned wall cover and flooring with tile. We selected new bathroom fixtures as well. Living room mantle was redesigned, and the flooring around it was changed. We repainted the interior of the house. Updated both AC system and electrical wiring. We also added a screened back patio.

Description of Work: At first i recieved architecture and engineering plans, as i wanted to generally remodel my new house. Lavi (Leo), who was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional helped me and my fiancee come up with a new design and look for our old-looking 50's interior. We updated the kitchen, the bathrooms, and our outdoor deck and patio. We redesigned the bedrooms and living room, and updated both of our fireplaces. No detail was overlooked, i would highly reccommend this company!
