Bill was very professional an thorough. Based on his inspection we were able to determine if our potential purchase was a solid investment or a money pit. His inspection not only revealed the obvious issues but also revealed the hidden dangers that were not so obvious. He spent over 4 hours inspecting the property and gave a thorough report that evening. I cannot say enough about his services. Thanks Bill for saving us from the "money pit".

Bill was so outstanding that we used him to survey a property we put an 'offer on' and then we hired him to do an inspection of our own property prior to putting it on the market. He is professional and friendly, knows his business and makes good 'need to fix' and other recommendations. We would hire him again...just like we did in a matter of weeks! Appointment - they have a great online tool for selecting possible days/times for an inspection. Vikki, his office manager, is great with follow-thru to make sure the appointment is set up and payment details are lined up. Bill arrived early to both appointments so we did not have to wait. He explained what he would do and how long it would take. He had all the necessary inspection tools/ladders and more. Inspection - Bill had a gameplan for a comprehensive inspection that would take approximately 3-plus hours...starting outside then coming inside to complete the job. He was patient with questions I had along the way and would explain 'issues' he found so that I could better understand possible remedies. As a result of our comprehensive (online and printed) reports on both homes, we were able to get a punchlist of new fixes needed on the new home and existing home so we could coordinate necessary repairs without delay. Bill is the person you need to find the 'fixes' needed for any buy/sell scenario. You get reports with digital pictures that reference items needing attention and this helps immensely. I have bought/sold many properties and have NEVER seen an inspector like him. Schultz Inspection is awesome!

Inspector did and excellent job. I have purchased five properties, and I felt that this was by far the most thorough home inspection I've ever had. Extremely professional, prompt, courteous and VERY knowledgeable. I had complete trust that he was giving me accurate information and felt that I knew everything possible about the property before he was finished. He followed up with a bound copy with photos and a written explanation of every item that we discussed during the inspection. VERY thorough! I would highly recommend to anyone purchasing a home in Palm Springs or anywhere in the area.

He was recommended by the real estate agent. Mr. Schultz came right away and gave us a verbal report and the physical report so fast, we were amazed. He even recommended other air conditioner people too, we don’t know Palm Springs at all. He is great.

Vikki is very timely in her responses and sets up inspections as quickly as possible. No need to talk with her about the pressures of the inspection period. She knows. She took care of schedules and logistics efficiently and professionally. She found a way to solve all my needs for coordinating paperwork and she made it easy to set up our inspections. He took time to show me anything that was quirky or specific to the home or anything about which I might have had questions. Then he sat down with me at the end of the inspection and we discussed the general condition of the home. And that was only the beginning of his thoroughness. We received our report the day after the inspection and it was well-detailed with pictures and in-depth descriptions of items and systems related to each home. During my lengthy home search I have seen a number of inspection reports. None have been as complete, explicit and easy to understand as the two completed by Bill. Bill was more than thorough. He was extremely knowledgable about all aspects of the home including the pool and its pumping equipment. The report was exceptionally detailed and organized with reference pictures and was issued overnight. With our tight closing schedule, they were able to adjust their schedule to accommodate our needs. I would definitely recommend them. They are not affiliated with any realtors and have the client's, buyers, interests first.

Schultz Property Inspection did an outstanding job of inspecting the property and reporting the results. I hired Schultz Property Inspection after interviewing several other property inspection companies and reviewing their sample reports. Most of the inspectors that I contacted in this city charged about the same flat rate price. I have hired property inspectors for a few residential and commercial properties that I purchased in other cities. I consider the information provided by the inspector as important as the appraisal information. Accordingly, I knew what I was searching for in a property inspector, and I found it in Schultz Property Inspection. Schultz Property Inspection did a thorough job of assessing the condition of the property and its systems. The inspection included a detached, single family home and a swimming pool. The inspector arrived on time for the inspection and started the inspection soon after his arrival. The inspector explained his observations and answered my questions while he conducted the inspection. As the inspector explained his observations, he carefully distinguished minor repair issues, items that might result in a major expense to repair, and any safety repair issues. The safety repair issues often fell in the category of an inexpensive repair. The entire inspection took about 3 and 1/2 hours to complete. The day after the inspection, I received a 70 page report with lots a photos and details about the property. Several sample inspection reports that I reviewed included pages of boilerplate text and checked boxes about the condition of the subject property, the Schultz Property Inspection report provided detailed descriptions of the property condition. The report arrived as a PDF with color photos; I prefer the electronic format of the report and told the company not to bother with sending a hardcopy. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the inspection conducted by Schultz Property Inspection.

He did an unbelievable job. He took pictures and gave us a booklet with pictures and everything we needed done in a PDF. It was so thorough! I'm very picky with this type of work, and he did an excellent job. I would recommend him to anyone hands down.
