It went very well. He said what he would do, then he did what he said. All this was done in his advised time frame. He cleaned up after himself and advised the steps of the project as he was doing the work.

I'd used Robert on another small project and knew I'd want to use him again to remodel the bathrooms in my Mom's house. The front bathroom was a disaster that already happened! Robert removed and repaired the dry rot in the floor and in the wall by the tub, removed all tile from the tub surround and the vanity top, prep'ed the areas for new tile and installed tile on the floor, tub surround, and vanity top. Installed a new toilet, towel bars, sink, faucets, drains, mirror, re-plumbed the shower and sink, and painted the entire bathroom. One of the special things he was able to do was save the original cast iron tub, which had major staining from an old water leak.....he spent hours cleaning it with CLR and sanding cloth because he knew I really wanted to keep the tub.....it's beautiful. Robert did a number of special touches for me based upon things we'd talked about. In the master bath he removed and relayed tile on the vanity, re-plumbed the sink and installed new sink, faucets, medicine cabinet, towel bars and put in a new shower head in the master shower. I'm remodeling my Mom's house and have had to do a lot of work. Robert saw that I was struggling to get new HVAC vent diffusers in the ceiling.....I came over one day to check on progress and he had installed the diffusers for me. Robert was a real blessing for me.....he did great work, was a really nice guy, checked with me before he made any changes or had ideas on how to make something work, and I trusted him implicitly....enough to give him a key to the house so he could do his work without me being there. I'd recommend Robert to all my friends and family.....I'm going to use him again when I tackle the kitchen. Robert......thank you so much for what you did for me....I appreciate it more than I could say.

Robert reported on the scheduled date, purchased all the materials and performed all the repairs discussed. He removed dry rot, replaced damage siding panels and replaced a door and frame with a new door with metal framing. He also cleaned up after himself. He's professional, friendly and his pricing is fabulous! I plan on using Robert again in the near future.

If you want the highest level of craftsmanship Robert is the contractor you should use. Robert listened to our wishes and we ended up with our home definitely increasing in value. Robert's estimate was right on the money and when there was a problem with the roof sheathing he consulted with us as to how we wanted to proceed and went to great lengths to match our shingles. Robert was professional and friendly with a true work ethic and strived to not only complete the job on time but he also cleaned the work site each and every day and at the end of the project left the area immaculate. We would definitely recommend Robert to anyone and would use him again for any project.

I got Robert's name from my house painter. Boy am I glad I did! I had removed wall paper from the dining room and kitchen areas. Robert textured the wall to match the adjoining walls. He did a great job. Robert returned my initial call within 3 hours and came out to take a look at the project the next day. We had scheduled the work for the following Monday, but Robert became available the Friday before, so he accomplished the work then....ahead of schedule. He took all measures to safeguard the floor prior to texturing and then made sure everything was clean after he finished. And on top of all that, he is a very pleasant person. I plan on using Robert on a bathroom remodel, I liked his attention to detail and the pride he takes in his work.

Robert inspected window and framing which may have had some water leakage and damaged reported by a third party home inspector. Robert sprayed the window with water but couldn't find any leakage. He also looked at the roof which he notice was pretty new. He also checked the stucco around the window framing which was also okay. He said the window and framing seemed okay. The water may have come from the old roof. He was very honest saying not to worry about it and monitor it during the rainy season. He didn't charge us to come out to take a look and inspect the window.

Due to my home having a poorly-constructed slab foundation, most of the door frames have shifted and I either cannot open, cannot close, or cannot latch the majority of doors in my house. This issue became a serious problem when I found that I could not disengage the dead bolt on my front entry because the door has so badly shifted in only a week's time. I contacted Robert to ask for his help and he very quickly responded with an appointment to meet me at my home the next day and take a look at the door. Robert quickly assessed the situation and decided on a solution, making sure to get my okay to pull the door framing in order to get a better alignment for the door frame. Robert understood exactly how the faulty construction of my home was affecting the doors and windows, and when I asked if he would make time to repair the guest bathroom door so it would latch and lock to ensure guest privacy, he immediately said he could take care of it and did so within just a matter of minutes. As a bonus, Robert also took the time to repair the bottom frame of my sliding glass door that was bent due to a heavy appliance being wheeled over it in a dolly. Now I have at least three doors that work properly! I am thoroughly grateful to Robert for coming to my rescue and making me feel so much safer now that I and my guests are able to enter and exit through the main door of my home!!! Robert has very fair prices and performs quality work in what seems like a short time to me, considering the work that had to be done to literally dismantle the frame of my door, fix it, then put it all back together again. In addition, Robert had the foresight to provide me with a bill of sale that documents the problems he identified with the doors and what had to be done to fix them. This will be helpful as I try to get the home builder and/or home insurer to deal with the failing foundation. Thank you to Robert for supporting this frustrated home owner and making my house a bit more habitable and safe!

Robert has great reviews on here this review will be the same. He was very responsive to my requests and offered several fair priced, quality options for my repair. His work was high quality while at the same time, completed in one day. Robert is very conscientious about making sure the job is done right. He was very respectful of the work area constantly keeping it clean, especially when he was finished. He was also able to add an outlet installation to the job at a very reasonable price.

All went good. Floor is solid again.

All went well was completed in a few hours and a nice clean job.

Robert was the only contractor out 5 that I called from Angie's list who called me back. It was a situation I wanted to get fixed and he was able to come out within a few days of my call. He did such an expert job you would never know anything ever happened to the wall. He worked quickly and did not leave a mess. He is just outstanding.

It took awhile to get the work done but he did all repairs as promised.

He is fabulous. He's very considerate. He did more than what he didn't have to do. It was really great. Their price is very, very fair. He's very honest.

Robert did a wonderful job on our house. He completed the job in 2 days just as stated. He left our yard clean and tidy after he finished work each day. He had a gentlemen help him on the job who was also very nice and did a great job. We would highly recommend him for your home repairs!

We purchased a home that had been a rental and needed attention across a number of trades. After consulting with several General Contractors, I decided to schedule various trades myself (with the aid of Angie's List) to save money. Robert was referred to me via Jay's Painting as someone who could complete the tasks I was having difficulty scheduling (e.g., adding a door, framing a wall, texturing drywall patches to match existing walls, etc.). When I first contacted Robert, I expected a talented tradesman--not knowing he was a General Contractor in his own right. I was impressed that Robert was willing to take on the rather piecemeal tasks I needed and he made no effort to take over my project. Once on the scene, Robert was calm and professional at all times. He worked well with other contractors and their employees. He readily offered advice and consulted with me about various options. He quietly helped apprentice workers (working for a different contractor) with simple advice and suggestions--without undercutting the other trades or offending anyone. He was amazing! It was clear he is a talented General Contractor even though the work we contracted was of a smaller scale. It quickly became obvious that he could have run my entire project beautifully, and yet he did not appear offended in the least to be asked to complete just a portion of the project. If I'd met Robert earlier, I'm sure he would have been my General Contractor. As it was, he was an amazing support in every way.

Robert did a fantastic job with all that needed to be done. He was always punctual, friendly (especially with our dog), and professional. Robert has an eye for detail; when it came to checking for dry rot and he did a good job making sure the new siding was flush with the old. The other work he did - door & gutter installation also was done well (and fast). When it came to pricing, Robert was reasonable (especially for the quality of work) as well as transparent. I'd definitely recommend Robert to anyone.

It was a fabulous experience, we have had our share of contractors and Robert went above and beyond. I fell thur the ceiling causing around 4x4ft hole in the middle of our living room when attempting to repair a ceiling light from the attic apx 8:30pm. My pregnant wife absolutely freaked out and contacted multiple contractors within a hour of the incident. Robert replied immediately and offered to come out the next morning to take a look. He arrived apx 8:30am, wrote up a quote and said I'll be right back. He worked efficiently and continuously from 9am till 2:30pm. I must admit i was somewhat nervous about the texture and hoped it'd look good and he aboslutely failed to disappoint me in any way. The ceiling and the texture looks wonderful. He also took his time cleaning up and make sure no mess was left. The qaulity and the professionalism he demonstrated is second to none. I badly injured my rib and requested if he'd consider completing the baseboard and the door for us when available. I would whole heartily recommend him to anybody. There's not enough thumbs to show how much i appreciate his service and work.

Robert was on time! Robert was very honest and said my breaker doesn't have to be replaced. Not every handyman will tell you the truth, Robert will. Robert is a very nice guy,I felt very safe and comfortable with him! He is very easy to talk to. He seemed to be a very honest guy! I trusted him in my home by himself while I ran to get my child from school and never did I feel that he would steal from me or take me for my money as some handymen do! Robert is a very hard worker! I have finally found my handy man?!

Robert is always on time. He is very professional and always leaves his work area clean. I left in the morning and came back in the evening and the job was complete. The old double door opening had been reduced to a single door and he had matched all siding and trim to match the existing. I now have a beautiful front door with a nice storm door.

There was extensive dry rot on my 2-story, 2600 sq. ft home. It was built in 1981 and never had any work done on it. Now, it looks great. Robert was punctual, professional and charged a fair price. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
