Kay's Busy Maids

Our experience with them was great. They are really good. They just do a very thorough job and they do lots of extra little touches for our kids. They are very considerate. They like lay out our kids’ stuffed animals and stuff like that. They make the house look nice. They just do not clean it.

It turned out fine. They came out within a week. I didn't have any dislikes. I was satisfied with the job.

They did a fantastic job. They did a really good job. They were not pushy. They cleaned what needed to be cleaned and didn't really try and rearrange things or mess with anything else. They were in and out fairly quickly. They were very efficient. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was less than what I had expected, and I would not employ them again.

After an hour the owner? called and said that I had signed up for an organizer and that services could not be split. I agreed to just have the woman who was here work out her time cleaning. It was difficult for the woman who was here and me to communicate so that seemed the easiest. However, after she left and I realized how much I had paid for someone to clean versus an organizer I believe I paid too much for the service. I would just recommend that anyone who uses this service make absolutely sure that they are getting what they pay for.

I was happy with them. I think it was pretty good. I think they did a good job. It was a reasonable price.

It was a two-person team who did a fine job, especially on my grimy kitchen, except for the bedroom (my son's, acting as a guest room) which I had specified was the priority...my mother was coming to visit :). Oddly, they had completely neglected to clean under the queen-size bed that takes up the majority of the room. I'm not used to having my house cleaned, it is nothing short of a major treat as I'm not very good at this level-of-detail cleaning, and I really wanted the house to my mother's standards of cleanliness. It was such a notable oversight and left me with unanticipated work to get the room 'converted' to one that would meet her needs and aesthetic. They also left early--really sort of bolted about twenty minutes early--which was time paid for that I would gladly have found them a little last something to do. It was strange. I felt perhaps they had judged me or my home in some way and just wanted out of there, not the nicest note to end on. I had stayed out of their way, so there was nothing interpersonal that could have caused this. All that said, they did some really good work in the kitchen that I really appreciated. I'm sure others might have a completely different, more satisfying, experience, but this was mine.

I can clearly understand the crew's motivation in covering their backs by hiding the insult story to escape backlash from their employer which I assume is you. The cleaning person did the lightswitch faces, ledges, rugs, refrigerator handles! She did everything. The apartment looks and smells so clean. It doesn't get too dirty in here because it is used primarily as an office, though the sink and counters and toilet get fairly heavy use and they look great now. THANK YOU!!

After several miscommunications on the dates and the person not being ok with entering my home without me being there today finally was the day of my special price for 2 hours of cleaning special. I was very pleased overall for the price I did pay my shower which is two heavy glass doors looked amazing. Yet the counter in the bathroom and kitchen still had and quot;stuff left on and quot; floors looked great but tops of pictures weren't dusted. Area rugs were all done even in my bedroom which was not expected she would have time to get too. So overall would say thank you for a great job. Just on my bathroom and floors!

The service was horrific. I was really looking forward to the service. I was looking for a provider to help with sorting and organizing. The communication was very poor and it appeared the persons first language was not English. They were supposed to come to my home in the morning and she agreed to a day. The day before the work I sent an email asking what time they would be at my home and I let them know they had to be at my home before noon as I had to work from home after that. I communicated with them and said I need a response before I had to work at 1 PM. They sent two people at 1:30 PM and they wanted to clean my house and they said well you need to tell us what to do as I let them know I needed organizing not housecleaning service. I told the owner that I wanted my money back and I got an email saying that the girls that they sent were organizers and how dare I send them away. The girls that came were confused about the service needed. She did try to re-schedule after this and she did offer a refund. I did call Angie's List to get a refund for the Big Deal.

The 2 women arrived on time. They did a great job cleaning 2 main areas ie. bathroom and kitchen. My home is pretty cluttered. They moved all the stuff on the floor to clean underneath it in both places. I rarely use a professional cleaning service, usually only before we have company stay with us. I used their service in 2013. This year I used a different company on a living social coupon. They did about 50% of what A Kays did for about the same money. I didn't realize there would be such a difference in cleaning companies. Next year I will have A Kays back.

It was great. I would recommend them, they were very good and very nice people.

The crew has been amazing!! They are quick, and do a wonderful job. I am sad to say that we are moving and won't be able to use their services once the 2 months is up. I really hope to be able to find someone this great down in Eugene, OR

They were awful. The only reason I used them because I needed somebody to help me out. Basically, they complained because I was just asking them to do the normal things that housecleaners do. If they missed dusting a certain area, I would say hey, this week can you remember to do this or whatever and they were acting like I was I was asking them to cut off their arm and that sort of things. They basically told me that I was too high maintenance and I don't pay enough.

Bought a deal on Angie'sList, and the woman came on time. She worked almost the full time allotted, but was leaving when I arrived home. She was having some pain issues, and I took her to the hospital to get checked out. The house was cleaned, but the poor thing told me she had been in pain the whole time. I never got a call to know how she fared; her car was gone from our driveway the next morning. It is hard for me to accurately review this company because of the circumstances.

Couldn't get a hold of them, mailboxes are full....:(

I am torn how I feel. It was very difficult to get in touch with Keri. I called her to confirm the appointment the day before, she texted me back. I texted the day of to find out what time, (it was already 3:30) and she texted to reschedule... No apologies. The same thing happened the next day. Finally on third day, our house was serviced, it looked good but they were there for less time than they said they would be and while the house looked good, it wasn't amazing. I would probably hire them again if it went so frustrating to have an appointment. It's not the i minded the rescheduling as much as I had to text to find out they weren't coming. If I wasn't proactive I wonder if they would have ever let me know.

We have hired them with regularity at this point. They are extremely professional and they really go above and beyond in terms of the quality of their service.

They finished the items on my list before the allotted time was up and expected to leave early rather than asking if there was something else to do. The house looked better on the surface but was not at all clean. I had trouble contacting and getting response from the scheduler as well.

I was confused by the offer , I thought two hours meant two hours. Since two cleaners showed up they said they would only clean one hour, they got most of house clean but didn't clean third bathroom. I guess you get what you pay for, $55.00 was a deal but the$150.00 quote for monthly cleaning is twice what I pay my other service.

I called them yesterday, and they said they would come by this afternoon to do the service. I called and left a message today at 2:30pm, asking if they were still coming. A woman called me back and said that she had just text the person coming to clean, and that she was on her way. It is not after 5:00 pm, and they have not shown up.

Overall, it was okay. The gal that provided the service was a little late, but called to say she was running late. Nice touch. She was very pleasant and seemed prepared. We gave her a list of tasks by order of importance. We only had a couple of disappointments as follows: Our first priority was giving the 2 bathrooms a good cleaning. We found upon our return home that the floor behind the toilets hadn't been touched. Cleaning the laminate flooring was also a priority. We found that the floors under the beds hadn't been touched. We didn't specifically mention the floors under the bed, but thought it would be understood that that was part of the flooring.

Quality of cleaning was excellent, will only accept this team (Vera) for further work.

I purchased organization services and the company replied with a one word response, and quot;Thanksand quot; which I actually did not see. There was no contact information, request for me to contact them, or anything else. since I did not see their response, I asked for a refund after about two weeks. I then got a response from A Kays that was very distressing. It was a very angry response stating that I had and quot;flipped outand quot; and telling me that people who do not provided preferred work dates are not serious and do not have the work done for several months. This response was totally inappropriate and caused me to look for another company to provide the work I need done.
