Booking the cleaning was painless and I was able to schedule a cleaning with Keri within only a few days. A very pleasant woman, Nadia, arrived on time, well supplied with everything she could have needed to clean the house. The basic vacuuming and dusting were done extremely well. We have four double windows with old-style narrow-slatted venetian blinds, and she cleaned them thoroughly. Those take a long time and she didn’t complain. Here are the things that I cleaned myself ahead of time because they are so detailed and fussy: the fireplace mantel, buffet cabinet with a whole bunch of knick-knacks, a bookshelf with more knick-knacks, the marble vanity in the upstairs bathroom (covered with little stuff), and another table in the bathroom with our electric toothbrushes, etc. The inside of my oven also did not need cleaning. So she didn’t have to do certain things which I would imagine would have taken an hour, but I’m sure those darned venetian blinds made up for it. Kitchen: Nadia didn’t clean a few things in the kitchen that I had expected her to. The refrigerator shelves weren’t cleaned. The dish drainer and tray really needed cleaning, and they weren’t done either. On the other hand, the kitchen sink was perfect. I think there may have been a communications problem with cleaning the refrigerator. I don’t remember exactly what I said, but I think she may have interpreted my words as meaning that she only needed to clean the inside of the crisper drawers and underneath them. I think that if I had clearly said that the whole inside of the fridge needed to be cleaned, she would have. Bathrooms: The downstairs bathroom was extremely well done. The bathtub (fiberglass) has not looked that good in years! However, the upstairs bathtub (porcelain) upset me for a while until I figured out what to do about it. The bottom of the tub has an anti-slip-grid pattern. She started cleaning one end of the tub with some really powerful agent (probably what she used to get the downstairs tub so clean). She must have stopped using that agent when it was obvious that the pattern of the grid was being seriously affected. When I first saw the bottom of the tub, I was frightened, because I thought that she had damaged the grid. I used SoftScrub for 15 or 20 minutes and evened the whole thing out pretty well. There is still a slight difference where her super-powerful cleaner cleaned a little too well. But no big deal. If Nadia cleans our house again, I’m sure I will be even more satisfied. I’ll be better prepared to give good instructions.

I actually requested assistance in cleaning b/c I had been cleaning while packing all week. Kari responded to my request extremely fast and basically was the only one willing to come help. We chatted on the phone & she heard what I needed & was able to schedule for my desired time 3-4 days later. Nancy showed up on time and was extremely helpful, everything looked fantastic and mind you, this was a move-out cleaning! I'm getting my deposit back thanks to Kay's Busy Maids!

I will give this service provider ONE STAR for initial contact. The rest of my experience was AWFUL. :(. I set up an appointment about 2 wks from the first contact. As the day approached, I awaited a confirmation call to set up a time to come to the house. I left a message via Angie's List the evening before and there was no reply. The day of my appointment, I sent a text message stating that I would cancel because I hadn't received a confirmation. This was The PROVIDER'S DIRECT REPLY COPIED FROM HER TEXT MESSAGE TO ME: "Ok sounds good. Once we schedule people for a cleaning we don't confirm because we don't feel the need to babysit adults. We feel they should write it in their schedule and remember. But yes no problem if today doesn't work. We can touch base on Monday:) You can get a refund if you don't like the way we do things. You canceled the day of which is inconsiderate. All cleaning companies have a 48 hour rescheduling policy and it says so on the company profiles on Angieslist " I want purchasers to know that your time isn't a priority for this company. I guess the expectation is for purchasers to sit around and wait till they show up. Most of us have kids and or pets to relocate to confined areas while outsiders are working in the home. I was shocked by this experience having purchased many times on Angie's List over the years. I was INSULTED by the RUDE remarks, LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, and NO ABILITY TO CONFIRM APPOINTMENTS !!! I will follow/up with asking for a full REFUND. As a consumer of services, and supporter of small local business, we deserve respect and appreciation of our support and time !!

They were a no show for my 12/28 appt

The house was the cleanest it has been in years when Katie was done. Katie does very thorough work, and takes pride in doing it well. We were extremely pleased with how wonderful our house looked when she was done.

Katie arrived at the early end of the agreed time window. She was ready to work and got right to it, after clarifying with us that cleaning chemicals would not be a problem. She was pleasant and professional, and did a fine job cleaning. We would be glad to use this business again. Thanks.

This was the second time I had Orysa clean my home. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She works nonstop and does a spectacular job. My house has never been so clean. The bathrooms are spotless, so shiny they look brand new. The bedroom looks like a high end hotel. They may not be the cheapest cleaning service in town, but you will get someone who does an excellent job. You won't be disappointed.

AvHad to complete the job over a 2-day period. It was a small 2-bedroom rental home being prepared for new renters.

I initially purchased the deal in mid April, but asked to schedule it after May 5. I was told the company would contact me after that date. Instead 6 weeks later, they still had not contacted me to complete the deal. I finally emailed them and was not able to get any of my preferred dates. We finally confirmed Thursday, July 2. I made sure that I would be home all day that day but they never showed. When I contacted them around noon (they were suppose to show up at 8 am), I was told that they did not get a phone confirmation from me after contacting me the night before. However, they did not contact me the night before and left no message. Then they tried to put the blame on others by stating that Angie's list did not have the current phone. Since I have had the same phone number for over 30 years, I discounted that and pursued when they might come out. They were able to come out the next day, but I was not able to free up the entire day and was not willing to leave an unknown person in my home without my presence. The work the person did was good. However, while being very thorough, she was not very quick and therefore, did not get anywhere near the amount of cleaning done that I had contracted for. I had to leave at 2 pm for a prearranged event and felt that the majority of the work should have been done by then. However, no mopping got done and none of the main floor rooms got vacuumed -- though the rooms with hard wood floors did get swept. I had to leave it at that despite most of the kitchen appliances not being cleaned (the refrigerator was cleaned and well done). Perhaps I had not had to rearrange my schedule to accommodate a different day than I had planned on and had had the entire day at my disposal, more would have been accomplished. Basically 3.5 rooms were cleaned and that was no where near what needed to get done. I do not think the amount of work that was accomplished was worth the amount I paid. I do not blame the actual cleaner (though she was slow) because I feel that the problem stemmed from the scheduling issues and not, necessarily, from her abilities.

The person was courteous and thorough. Deep cleaning had been neglected for a few years - I keep things picked up and wiped, but neglect floors and window dressings. She brought her own equipment and did a good job.

Though communication re: scheduling was difficult, I was extremely pleased with the quality of the cleaning services.

She was there for 5 hours. She scrubbed the bathrooms, vacuumed all carpets, mopped all floors, cleaned baseboards, blinds,cleaned all the kitchen including the refrigerator and two ovens.

It went well.When the cleaner arrived I went through what I wanted focused on from the list of the tasks in the description.I have a small one level home(1100 square feet)I was a bit surprised the cleaner was alone and for the supposed $300 value that was described in the ad.The house was in need of a deep cleaning and the cleaner seemed a bit overwhelmed.She arrived at noon and stayed until about 6pm.I stayed out of her way and she proceeded to do a thorough job.2 hours on the kitchen( oven inside and out)2 hours on the bathroom and 2 hours on dining,living,and 2 bedrooms.She did a good job but forgot to clean the fridge as was advertised.In her defense the house required a bit more than she could handle by herself.

Nadya was prompt, very pleasant, and very hard-working. She did the most thorough cleaning job I've ever seen. She scrubbed, and scraped, and cleaned every surface appropriate. I have an 1100 sf house, and she spent 6 hours cleaning it, and didn't slow down or rest. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
