Description of Work: I scheduled a date for a first visit, and was told that the house had to be available for the entire period of 8am-5pm on that date (Keri was unable to give me a smaller arrival window). Since it was the first time the maids were coming to my home, I felt I wanted to be present to meet them, and I found this day-long time frame very constraining. | |The housecleaner did not follow my instructions regarding priorities. (ex. I requested that the kitchen counter NOT be a priority, since we keep that area pretty clean ourselves, but she spent 30 minutes cleaning this area anyway, and other areas, like baseboards, that I wanted to be a priority, were ignored). I think there was somewhat of a language barrier. | |This being said, the quality of the work that is done is good, but they are not quick workers. It takes two 3-hour visits to clean my entire house. In the past, I have paid the same amount of money to have the entire house cleaned in one visit.

Description of Work: Well, I bought a deal that was supposed to be "a professional" coming in to help me organize my home. When I think of a professional organizer, I think of someone coming into my house to show me systems of management...ways to organize things and make them "flow" better, as I have a friend who is a professional organizer (I didn't want her to come and see the inside of my house though...too personal for me). The worker, who after questioning, had never done this before (she had only cleaned houses), showed up ready to pick up and put away stuff that was disorganized. Her job was to make a closet look good. I can do that myself (as I learned how to do that as a child) especially for $50 an hour. I felt it was faulty advertising...so I sent her home and asked for a refund...so in actuality, I never used the service.

Description of Work: Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to evaluate this company's services. I never even got to talk to them on the phone. I left messages and emailed, and when I could not get an appointment scheduled after 2 weeks of trying, I requested a refund from living social. I should have paid attention to the fact that the only bad reviews for Kay's have come from living social voucher holders. If the vendor doesn't want to honor living social vouchers, then maybe they shouldn't participate in living social deals. I would not recommend working with this company - especially through living social.

Description of Work: I'm still in the process of the move and don't have time for big details. The gal was great, cleaned the house I was leaving, got my money's worth.

Description of Work: Beautiful and thorough job of cleaning

Description of Work: Requested construction clean because we had our hardwood floors redone and there was dust throughout the house. We also requested Bona products be used on the newly refinished floor. This was not communicated to the two young girls who did the work. They did a reasonable housecleaning but not a construction clean since dust remains in several locations. They did not have Bona products so cleaned the floor with water only.

Description of Work: They arrived on time. The kitchen and bathroom were the places where the work was excellent. My place has bamboo flooring and some tiles. These were somewhat streaky and needed to be redone in a few areas. Overall, a good to good+ experience.
