Description of Work: They came out and could have done more to our water heater but did the minimal of putting in 2 screws and securing a part which was$1.00 but the service charge was $150.00. I did not ask prior but this still seemed very exorbitant.

Description of Work: Robert & Neal arrived promptly at noon as quoted. They wasted no time in removing our old water heater and replaced the new one with new connectors & insulation. They cleaned the area before they left as well. Robert & Neal were professional, friendly, and courteous. We were given a discount for paying by check! This is the first time we used Angie's list which relieved us of the stress of having to research multiple companies. We definitely recommend services through Express Water Heaters / Robert Damuth "The Boss".

Description of Work: Immediate response to emails late Sat night arranging for repair to leaking water heater. Final arrangements made Sun morning and crew arrived on time a few hours later. "The Boss" also tested the water pressure finding the root cause to the water heater failure being that the pressure reduction valves had failed. All fixed in a couple of hours. Very courteous service by Robert and Neil.

 + -1 moreI called Robert after I had already contacted Home Depot to replace my water heater which was leaking. Home Depot through their partnership with Delta Mechanical had quoted the work at $1350. I thought the price was too high so I went online and did a google search and that brought me to Express Water Heaters. On the call Robert sounded very professional and patient. He quoted the whole job including changing of the gas valve and the water connections and the total came to $799! There was an $50 additional charge for an upstairs unit which brought the total to $849. That was $500 cheaper than Home Depot. Additionally Robert was available to replace the water heater the same day on Sunday instead of waiting until Monday with Delta. He showed up promptly on time and finished the work as promised in less than 2 hours. They were very clean and did an excellent job. Also took the time to clearly explain how the unit worked. In conclusion, I fully recommend Robert and was very happy with the price and the service.
