 + -1 moreI called two Angie's List locksmiths in my area. Carlsbad Lock and Key quoted me a price that was substantially less. I drove to their storefront and Mrs. Pahl, one of the owners, was friendly, professional and efficient and completed the work while I waited. I also asked if she had a small part in chrome finish to match the new lock. She found one and did not even charge me for it. I was pleased she asked if she could recycle the four keys that came with the locks but that I would no longer need. While she did the work and we chatted, I complained about the recent increases in the price of gasoline. She used an Iphone App to tell me the best prices for gas in the area. So, I received my rekeyed locks, a free part, the best gas station location and a referral to a great money saving App for my phone! Hard to improve on that kind of service.
Description of Work: I changed a deadbolt and entry lock and needed them to be re-keyed to match the remainder of the locks in our house.

 + -1 moreCraig did a great job finding the latch and handle we needed. We had tried to find the piece ourselves with no luck. He was great about not getting unnecessary pieces. One latch just had shifted position so he aligned it again and all the doors have been working great.
Description of Work: Craig came out to repair and replace latches and locks on three sliding doors. One part had to be ordered and Craig researched and found the piece we needed for one door and had placed a temporary piece in it's place until the parts came in.

Description of Work: I asked to have the locks of our new house rekeyed. The locksmith suggested I replace the deadbolts with a higher quality brand which only cost a few dollars more than having the locks rekeyed. I also had a knob set replaced.
