Description of Work: He put a new drain pump in our dishwasher. When I turned it on it leaked water all over the bamboo floor. He failed to replace the hose and clamp and it came detached. He was late arriving the first time, but was prompt in coming to fix the leak. |I hired someone else to fix the problems.

Description of Work: Frigidaire oven would not heat up. 9/22-called and made an appointment-son of the owner set it up for 9/26 in the A.M. 9-26: called to verify appointment; our appointment was misplaced (son of owner handling appouitments while his father was gone). Still serviceman came out that afternoon: Oven circuit board is out and it has to be ordered. 9-30 part came in and the circuit board was installed ($310.00). However the faceplate did not peel off the old circuit board- needs to be re-ordered if can be located. 10-2: Faceplace found and serviceman installed it for an additional $50.00. Serviceman was excellent: Son of owner-the exact opposite: be sure the appointment is made with THE OWNER HIMSELF NOT FAMILY... The son's attitude was the sole reason for the "B" rating.

Description of Work: I had 3 appliances needing help all at once. Microwave, oven and ice maker in freezer. Alex fixed everything fast and explained what was wrong. Ice machine ended up working fine after him taking a look at it briefly. Wasn't charged for that which was nice. Heard of Alex Appliance from a referral, and also a good review on Angie's List. I would definitely recommend!

Description of Work: Excellent! On time, neat, knew what he was doing. Original call was for ice-maker repair. Clothes dryer went out at the same time. Alex fixed it at no charge.

Description of Work: He repaired my washing machine. I was very impressed when I called him and told him what was wrong. He helped me over the phone without any sort of pay and told me how to correct it. He came out to see me the same day I called and it happened to be in the evening on a weekend. He repaired it quickly and came with all the necessary materials.

Description of Work: What a great company, allowed me to call, ask questions and even gave me part numbers. I was deciding whether to go through our home-warrenty program or private, dependent upon the total cost of the repair. Alex was professional and informative. I really appreciated his knowledge and honesty. I was not able to use his service as my repair was going to be several hundred dollars much worth the cost of the co-pay through the warranty program, and unfortunately the person needed to be Whirl-pool certified, which he was not. Due to his quick response, and willingness to give me the information I needed to make that decision I will definitely keep his information and recommend his company for both knowledge and honesty.

Description of Work: The services were advisory concerning a problem I was having with my refrigerator. My refrigerator is a side-by-side and cold air was not coming in from the freezer side. Alex instructed me on what to do myself to correct the problem. I did what he suggested and the problem resolved itself. A three minute conversation with Alex solved the problem and I am very pleased with the results.
