They are very good, on time, price was very good and I would call them back.

We contacted Alex after our microwave oven stopped heating. We reached the company on the weekend, and a friendly woman assured us we'd get a call from Alex on Monday, which we did. He asked several questions about the problem to see if it was something that could just be solved by his directing us over the phone. It turned out to be more complicated, so he set up an appointment for the next day. He came on time, immediately diagnosed the problem, had the part needed already in his truck, installed it, and voila--we have a functioning microwave again. His price was extremely reasonable. We are delighted to have found Alex and will call him again for any appliance repairs needed.

We have an old (1983) dryer and Alex knows how to take care of such an old machine. He also encouraged us to keep maintaining it rather than buy a new one that has many more dunctions but will have a much shorter lifespan.

He was very helpful in answering all my questions and providing general advice about both my dryer and my washer. He repaired it quickly and was very professional.

Quite well. The previous provider was ready to change all kinds of things (can't remember provider name - not so memorable - which I got through you). Alex looked, and immediately said, "all it needs is a cleaning." He used my vacuum and some fluid he had and "voila" the fridge is working. No major change in the motor assembly was necessary. By the way, I don't think Alex is on your list of providers. Is he? I just called him because I had used him a couple of years ago and liked how he worked.

Perfect. He told me on the phone how to repair the problem and said that would save a service call. I asked him to come anyway. He ran diagnostic and his original instructions were correct. He is honest and fair. Excellent

Wow. I'm impressed. I called to get someone out because my refrigerator wouldn't cool after the door was left ajar for a night. Big emergency. Person who answered the phone said they were quite busy but would call the tech to see if they could fit me in. Alex phoned my back and walked me through the repair over the phone - for FREE. It wasn't difficult but I never would have figured it out on my own. Next time I need a repair you can bet that I'll call this company.

He troubleshot with me over the phone and was able to diagnose the issue and walk me through cleaning the coils. My refrigerator and freezer are now back to a proper temperature!

Excellent. Alex will be our go to service provider going forward. I have not included the charge for this service in this review because I don't feel it's pertinent. I will state the charge was very reasonable.

We had a problem with our refrigerator. I think it was just a $60 service fee. The worker was very good. They left the area very clean when they were done. I never really understood the reason it was doing what it was doing but he fixed the situation. I just value communication.

I called Alex on 10/8/15 to repair my washing machine- we scheduled an appointment for 10/9/15 for between 1-4pm. 10/9/15 Alex called 15 minutes prior to arrival. Alex arrived at 2:30 pm on 10/9/15 and within 15 minutes had diagnosed the problem and given me a quote on the price to fix it. I immediately approved the cost of repair and he fixed it within 15 minutes. Alex was professional, and did exactly what I needed him to do- fix the washing machine. No hassle, professional, and nice. Thanks Alex for a job well done!

Alex came exactly when he said he would. The issue with my Miele dishwasher was not easy to diagnose, but he took the time to figure out what was going on. He then spent considerable time on the phone with Miele Service to determine which part was required. He ordered the part and returned the following week to install it. It turned out to be a fairly expensive part, but it is now working and I am very satisfied. During his second visit, I also had him take a look at our refrigerator, which was leaking water. He had to do a bit of work to get it away from the wall, but diagnosed and repaired the problem (replaced a water line hose) for $30 -- a really good deal! Alex is very professional and easy to work with. I will certainly call him again if I have any appliance problems.

They did the springs and the door and we have our dish washer where the door if you opened it went down it would press your toe, so they put in heavy duty springs. The responsiveness and what they did took a lot longer than we thought it would. The responsiveness was the low point.

I called Alex's number with the intention of hiring him to fix my dishwasher. It had developed a blockage or pump problem causing backup of about 1/2" water to remain in the bottom of the dishwasher after a cycle of washing. When I told him I had already checked for blocked filters, he immediately suggested the air gap (fixture on top of sink) was the culprit. Sure enough -- I pulled the metal cap and the plastic cap beneath it off and discovered the tube coming up from below was blocked with debris. After I removed it, the residual water in the washer finally drained out and everything is working perfectly. I would certainly hire Alex in a minute if I ran into another problem. Thanks!

I called Alex on Wednesday for a dryer repair. His first appointment was Friday. He gave me a 3 hour window, and called prior to arrival. He came, quickly diagnosed the problem, and repaired it (having the part on hand, even though it was a discontinued dryer). The entire transaction took 15-20 minutes. He was professional, explained the diagnosis, and left the area in clean condition. I will use Alex again for other appliances.

Alex was great. Very nice guy, did the job for $100 less than another company quoted. As well he did it in 1 stop, the other said they would have to order a new piece and it would take a week. Very knowledgeable. I will absolutely use him again for any appliances that need to be taken care of.

Alex came out with a part that I miscommunicated that I thought was the problem. We were happy with his analysis and decided to that due to the cost of the parts and age of the appliance that we will research the cost of a new replacement appliance. We greatly appreciated his honesty . We will call him again for appliance repair.

Alex answered the phone personally when I called and scheduled an appointment for the same day. He called when he was on his way and was punctual and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our refrigerator water line and had the part in his truck to repair it. The price was fair and the work was done to our satisfaction. I would call Alex again the future.

My 14 years old refrigerator stopped working. I called Alex Appliances based on the good reviews on Angie's List. Vadim arrived on time. He opened the rear bottom of the refrigerator and tested several parts using a meter. He told me that the relay overload was bad and needed to be replaced. After Vadim guaranteed that the compressor was still good, he allowed him to replace the relay overload for $237 (part costs $13). The refrigerator started working after the bad relay overload was replaced. Vadim assisted me to clear coils from the rear and front of the refrigerator. The coils had been cleaned for 14 years! After the coils were cleaned, Vadim applied coil cleaner foam to clean the area that could not be reached by the vacuum. After the much needed coil cleaning, the refrigerator worked better than before it was broken. My wife and I were very pleased with the outcome.

The timer on our washing machine broke and we were hoping it didn't mean buying a new machine. Called Alex who came out promptly, diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He came back to install it only a few days later when the part arrived. Works as good as new. Will definitely use Alex again.
