A Kays Busy Maids

Great job. Very thorough and done exactly as I requested. We are very pleased with the service.

I was initially drawn to A Kay's Busy Maids based on their $269 for deep cleaning special. I called Kari and she came out the same day to look at our home. We didn't need them to come out until one week after she stopped by. To be fair, our house was torn apart when she came with boxes and items everywhere as we packed up. We explained that when her staff came on 5/11/15 that the home would be staged for a sale and wouldn't look quite like this. We are otherwise very clean. Kari recommended that we use an hourly rate instead of special since we wanted a "deep clean". I initially agreed to this but then called her back later that same night to tell her that the hourly rate worried me and all of the things I needed were listed on her special- blinds, refrigerator, oven, bathrooms, floors, etc. She assured me that hourly was the way to go since "deep clean" means a simple dusting of the blinds instead of actually washing them down, etc. Again, I reluctantly agreed. 3 girls showed up at my house for 3 hours at $36/hour each. I paid $324 and they cleaned the bathrooms nicely, dusted the upstairs blinds and railings on the stairs. They did not dust all of the furniture upstairs and the blinds in all rooms except my master bedroom were only lightly dusted. I had carpet cleaners come that afternoon so they did not vacuum any carpets. My kitchen floor was mopped but they didn't move any rugs and basically just pushed the dirt around. I had already deep cleaned the stove and cabinets myself. They did not: clean out the refrigerator, clean any blinds downstairs, clean the over, wipe down cabinets. I had to redo several pieces of furniture upstairs. I called Kari twice to give them an opportunity to fix what wasn't done and explain why I paid more for less service than offered on her special. I have yet to get a response so I hope this gets her attention. Don't use this service. I don't have a lot of money to spend on things like this and I feel like I was taken advantage of.

They need to respond to phone messages in a more timely manner I would prefer a better method of cleaning the kitchen floor....over the wet pad they used on the large area of ceramic tile floors.

They did a fantastic job on our baths and kitchen. Very efficient and thorough. They took the time to get the job done perfectly.

I bought the Big Deal coupon for 8 hours of house cleaning. We were able to get it scheduled on a week day that worked for me, and the two cleaners arrived on time. They were polite and professional. I asked to have kitchen, bathrooms and floors cleaned. In addition, I wanted everything dusted, for some reason my house collects a lot of dust. The results were exactly as I'd hoped. They were very thorough in dusting every area and moving things instead of just dusting around them. I noticed that the bottom of a light fixture had been dusted (which I only noticed in certain light). The two and a half bathrooms and kitchen were also very clean.

I've been using Kay's Busy Maids monthly, specifically Rosie & Odu, for about 6 months. I started with an Angie's list special price, which Keri continues to charge. They're always here within 15 mins. of their start time, and are thorough. Sometimes I have special little tasks (i.e. make a bed, wipe down inside of a medicine cabinet, clean the inside or top of fridge etc) which are done happily. These two gals are great; they bring all their own supplies, they're quick (2 hours), nice to talk to. Keri, the owner, always calls me while the gals are here to see how they're doing, and to schedule the next appt. Once we had a miscommunication & the gals didn't show on the day I expected them, and Keri fixed it by coming herself to clean my house the next morning. Rosie & Odu are a great team!

When I left a message to talk to them about calling me she did get right back to me and I was able to get them out within a few days. I did explain that we would be moving in in a few days. The house wasn't a mess, I just wanted to move into an already clean house. She gave me a per hour price for two people. It seemed fair to me. I also explained the house was in SDCE in Ramona and that was fine with her. When the two women got to the house, she decided to charge me for a move in/ move out price of $350 and she said it would take 4 hours! And also because she had to drive so far. I felt this was unfair. I had explained that we were moving in and where the house was. Why didn't she check out how far it was from her?!!! As far as the price, they didn't have to clean any floors or walls and then it didn't take 4 hours, it took 2 1/2 hours. They also didn't wipe down all the kitchen cabinets. I found cob webs in a couple of them. I felt ripped off. I would never want a friend to use them.

WOW! What an awesome job. They cleaned my two bathrooms and my kitchen including cleaning out my refrigerator. I have had my refrigerator cleaned before but never like the girls did in this visit. They got rid of all the food that had expired including old lettuce and tomatoes. They even cleaned out the inside of the microwave which no one had ever done before. The bathrooms still sparkle today. I will be setting up monthly service with Kay's Busy Maids.

Kays Busy Maids did a superb job. They were on time, worked hard, and the results were excellent. They did a particularly good job on our stove, which has a stainless steel top. There were baked on deposits that I was not able to clean. The stove looks brand new! Also, our master shower door, glass, had lots of soap scum and calcium and lime deposits due to hard water. They also made it look brand new. After this experience, we will probably use them to do our kitchen and baths quarterly. It's worth it. We would definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

We started out with the offer on Angie's list for a deep cleaning of Kitchen and 2 bathrooms and after talking with them we arranged to have them do a whole house cleaning. They showed up and did everything with fast courteous professionalism. My wife was very happy with the work that they did and the attention to detail that they covered.

Kays Busy Maids arrived promptly and got right to work. They kept going until the job was done. They do bring their own supplies, but if you prefer using your specialty products, it's not problem.

We made arrangements for them to provide the service on 04/22/15. They missed their scheduled appointment and requested rescheduling. I took time off work for them to provide the service today. I've elected to cancel and refund the deal as it is very unprofessional to miss scheduled appointment dates.

All I can say is I hope nothing bad happened to this provider, but that really is the only excuse for just ignoring my calls and e-mail. I canceled the deal and moved on.

fair job cleaning and forgot one main room!

Went with service based on coupon. Arrived late, couldn't finish and they were fine with that. Would not recommend.

That went really very well. I will recommend them. I paid $59 and I gave them $20 each because they did an outstanding job. I like the job that they did, they cleaned it so well that the whole floor was shiny. They were friendly. They were quiet and very polite.

We have been using Kay's Busy Maids for about two years. It is easy to answer the questionnaire above with all "excellents," because of the way they perform. Always friendly, always on time (except for exigent circumstances, for which there was always notification), and always proficient.

I purchased the promo coupon from Angie's List. Communication was easy with the office and scheduling. Two cleaners were at the house and worked for two hours each. We were completely satisfied with the work, and even asked for a quote on regular service (still waiting to hear on that). Good job. Thanks.

They arrived on time, I gave instructions and they went to work. They were very thorough and followed my specific instructions about which products could be used where. This is the second time I have used them and have been pleased with their politeness, willingness to follow directions and do thorough work.

The provider cleaned the Master bedroom in great detail. She did a great job with the shower doors. I have never seen them that clean. She also bleached the grit between the tiles on the counters making them as clean as ever. Much effort was put into the overall cleaning of all three bathrooms. I was very happy with the results. I will definitely use them again.

The work was pretty good. I would have liked to get the refrigerator cleaned, but time was not available. A nice help.

We purchase a big deal for 8 hours of house cleaning and needed to put off using it for a long time. I appreciated A Kay's Busy Maids allowing us to hold off using it until we were ready. They also accepted the big deal as our move out when we needed to sell our home. From there we had problems. I scheduled the appointment but was not given an arrival time, so I requested to be called about 30 minutes in advance since the house was empty and I needed to go there. The call did not come until the ladies were at the house and I was in an unplanned Doctors appointment with my Mother-In-Law. It took me just shy of 1 hour to arrive and they docked my cleaning time by 3 hours ? 1 1/2 hours for each lady. When I arrived I was in a hurry to get them started and return to the Doctor's office, I forgot to leave the big deal coupon. I explained that I needed the kitchen, laundry room, three bathrooms cleaned, hard floors washed and if there was time vacuum - then hurried out. One of the ladies, Rosie said she would call me approximately 30 minutes before they would be finished so I could return to the house to lock-up. When I finished at the Doctor and took my Mother-In-Law home to rest, I went to the house even though I hadn?t received a call. I did miss a call from an unidentified caller on my cell phone from El Cajon but no message ? I have no way of knowing if it was from them. That's when I discovered the ladies were gone, but the house had not been cleaned. I later learned that Rosie called her boss and they decided to leave rather than clean the house - unfortunately since they didn't call to say they were leaving, my house was left unlocked because they didn't have a key. After a few conversations with the boss, both ladies returned the next day to clean. The work done by Rosie was completed quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately for me her partner was extremely slow and did a very poor job even after being requested to re-clean areas. The end result was I paid for 8 hours of house cleaning ? 4 hours for each lady, I was docked too much time and my schedule was delayed by a day for the ladies to return to do the work. I had to go back and clean where one lady worked, also the laundry room and floors were never touched so I also needed to do those areas. Phone issues on their side made communication with A Kay's Busy Maids a frustrating experience and except for Rosie?s work, the cleaning was poorly done and incomplete. I had a home and construction clean business of my own 15 years ago so I my expectations were realistic. After everything was over, I spoke to the boss and made a recommendation for a good source of training materials to assist in training her staff. However, funds are in short supply and I?m unwilling to risk any more using A Kay's Busy Maids again.
