A Kays Busy Maids

I have used this company in the past too.

To paraphrase Julius Caesar, "They came, they saw, they conquered" my home and me. With great efficiency and speed, these two very friendly ladies transformed my small, messy, and neglected home (760+ square feet) into fresh-smelling, sparkling spaces I can be proud of. Now I need to invite all my friends over before my cats and I shed all over it again! As a team, they worked very smoothly together, with a minimum of interaction required from me. Once I had shown them around, they knew just what to do, and they did it very well and swiftly. Earlier, I had complained to Angie's List that A Kay's Busy Maids never called me to set up the appointment. I now see that that is my problem -- or rather, that of my aging and faulty landline system. It's apparent that they did call, and my answering machine didn't keep the message for me (I was probably out of town when they called). Having now seen their good work, I would definitely use them again; in fact, I plan to set up regular housecleanings with A Kay's Busy Maids. (The reason I don't recall the cost is that the job was originally set up through an Angie's List special quite some time ago and thus had already been paid for when A Kay's was here today, 4/11/2014.)

It went very smoothly. I contacted them on a Friday through the Angie's List website and received a phone call from Keri within a few hours. She was able to schedule me for the following Tuesday afternoon and said they would call when they were on their way. On Tuesday they called when they were about 20 mins away, and the two maids were very nice and professional. After a while Keri called to see how things were going and said she would come by in person later. When she arrived she gave me an estimate for future cleaning service, and then pitched in to help finish the job so that everyone could start their evenings a bit sooner. We just moved to this house three months ago and had not kept up with the housework, so it was pretty dusty. They did an excellent job.

That was a year ago through a group on. They were fine but what I didn't like was that they brought their own supplies in huge bags like a black hefty bag with old rags. I didn't like that. I felt like they used them in somebody else's home. They brought their own vacuum cleaner and I didn't like that because I heard you can transfer fleas from one home to another by doing that. I told them to use my vacuum other than theirs. They cleaned and did what I asked them but I think i could do a better job myself. My husband bought the deal for me as a gift and I don't know how much he spent.

We've been very happy with Kays Busy Maids. Keri is very easy to work with and is very responsive. The girls who clean our house are friendly and do a great job. They work quickly but are very thorough. Although we're typically home when they're cleaning, we also trust them to come in and clean when we're not there and we've done this several times -- they just let themselves in through the garage. I would (and have) recommend Keri and Kays Busy Maids to any of our friends.

I needed to be sure that they would arrive on schedule as I had guests coming the next day and they didn't disappoint. They arrived as scheduled and were very thorough.

Kay's Busy Maids have cleaned our home several times. They are on time and complete the tasks I request. Sometimes I need the entire house cleaned and other times deep cleaning of certain areas, both are done to my satisfaction. Everyone that has come to the house have been very pleasant to be around.

It worked out fine. It was a little misleading because in the ad that I bought, it said that they will clean the whole house no matter what size. They didn't tell me how much time they're going to spend. It doesn't matter what size my house is. When I bought it, it didn't tell me how much time I had. Basically I got two people for three hours which was fine. It wasn't a bad deal. I was mislead once I bought it. With how much they're going to clean, I don't know. The actual service was fine. Some of her reactions was like "I can't believe we're going to do all of these." Some of the customer service was lacking a little bit. The part that they said they were going to do was cleaned well. They didn't show up when they said they would show up. I mentioned it when they got here that they gave me a window time and they didn't even acknowledge that.

They did a great job, were on time, brought all the equipment they needed and sent 2 people for 4 hours but they stayed 5 or 6 hours at no extra charge. But I did give each of them a tip.

Ceiling fans not touched. Many cobwebs left on ceilings. Floors needed recleaning. Doors and jambs and window sills not cleaned. Light switches not cleaned of fingerprints. I did not require kitchen cleaning other than the black fronts of refrigerator, dishwashers, trash compactor, and range, and dust cabinets.....which were not done. Granite counter tops and island were wiped down. Master bath floor not cleaned at all around and behind toilet. Library, guest room, and spare small bedroom/exercise room plus master closet were closed off and asked not to clean, leaving only the entry, 2 baths, master bedroom , and great room (includes dining and kitchen) to be touched! Chandeliers and lamp shades not dusted. Dust and cobwebs not removed from top of kitchen cabinets. Bath marble vanity not clean and lime spots on bath fixtures not removed. Master shower hosed down only leaving pooled dirty water and bottle stains in niches for shampoo and on window sill. Clawfoot tub not cleaned. Bath fan vent not cleaned. I have pictures taken of all these problems after they left. Worst cleaning I have witnessed in my 75 years of life! Horrible. I lived in University City for 35 years and the last ten of those had a wonderful weekly housekeeper (husband and kids helped previously). I hired another housekeeper to come and do over. She did such a good job that I hired her for bi-weekly service. I wish no contact with this provider and chalk it up to a life learning experience. Warn others.

Everything went very well. We are continuously using them now. They are very diligent and get a lot done when they are here. Katie, the owner, is great to work with. There are usually two people here doing the work. The results are great and they really do a nice job. They bring all their own supplies but we encourage them to use some of ours like the central vacuum and a steam mop.

What was done, was done very well. The purchase stated cleaning of house of ANY size. There was no time limit listed. The two ladies who did the work were very conscientious. Our house is 2700 square feet so it is not a huge house by any means. I had stated that the offer also mentioned cleaning of the refrigerator. They said that meant just the outside. I said it meant cleaning the inside. They got part of the inside done and then ran out of time so I said not to worry about the whole thing. It wasn't until after they left ( and I had given them a 20% tip) that I realized they had never even entered into one of the rooms to clean it. I probably should have called them back to take care of it but we were leaving the house at that point. I don't think it was an intentional oversight, as the room had the doors closed. We would use them again, but I would definitely check the work BEFORE they left.

They did a good job, but I called them back to do another job and no callback.

She probably rescheduled 4 times. When she did call me back to confirm she called me at 9 p.m. I ended up cleaning half the house myself.

Keri and Nancy were prompt and thorough. They did great detail cleaning and didn't scare the cats. They cleaned everything and did a bit of organizing. They left everything spotless and even made the sofas, beds, tissue boxes and tp look like a high end hotel. I will be using them again!

It was over-priced but they did great. They came out within the first few weeks after the deal was purchased. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. Interestingly, they don't do windows and ceiling fans and they don't dust them. There were things of that nature that were not mentioned that they don't do. Mother and daughter came out to do the cleaning. The quality of service was great. It is not that they didn't do good work. The work was fine. Me and my wife were happy with the work. But I just think that half of that price would have been more reasonable. We recently bought another one for another company that does the same exact thing and we paid $49 for it.

I purchased a cleaning service through a sale. I had to email the cleaning company a number of times before receiving a response. g Once I finally scheduled a cleaning I was told that I would receive a text message or call 30 - 15 min before arriving. I never received a call or message. Two ladies simply showed up, they were unclear of the service or if I had paid or not. The two who cleaned were very nice and did a good job. However, when I asked how I could set up a cleaning schedule or what it would cost per month they did not know. I never received a checkin or follow up from the company. I guess they didn't want repeat business. T

I was on crutches for two months and unable to do much cleaning around the house, so I purchased a deal for Kay's Busy Maids. Kay's sent over two housekeepers who worked for approximately 3 hours, and they left my house SPOTLESS! In my inspection afterwards, I couldn't find a single spot that they missed. The housekeepers were courteous, they used environmentally friendly cleaning products, and they were fast (we have a big house). Overall, it was a wonderful experience! I would definitely recommend Kay's and use this service again.

Coupon was for 4 hours w one gal ... or 2 hours w 2 gals. She was a hard quiet worker and I felt comfortable with her work. The only negative was her equipment. I met her in the driveway and when I noted the condition and dog hair all over her vacumn I asked her to leave it in her car and use mine. There was another piece of equipment (a broom I believe) that I asked her to leave in her car as well. Most shocking was the vacumn, which had dog hair all over it and looked filthy. But, if you have your own equipment, her work and independence was very good. In the future I would have her use all of my supplies, including my dusting rags, etc. Conclusion: I was very satisfied with her work and ethics.

Called several times and got no call back.

The scheduling was horrendous but the service was great. I would probably not use them again.

We went with a complete housecleaning and were not disappointed. They did fantastic work and exceeded all of our expectations! We decided to use them on a regular basis.

They had to re-schedule the appointment once, but completed work and very satisfied with result.

I will definitely use her again. She is AWESOME! And is such a nice person. Look forward to working with her again.
