They came, they installed an AC on top of my 2 story house with a crane. They downgraded the size of the previously quoted AC Unit - because when the technician came, he thought it would be too powerful a unit for the ducting we had, and so the larger unit would basically freeze from the back up. So, the price went down, and they handled the job quickly. It doesn't get freezing cold super fast, but the AC does work well enough for taking off the edge on the occasional sweltering week. These pros did a very good job.

This call is the only call you should make for AC repair.

Our AC stopped working over the weekend. By the time I got a tech out, for the cost of $100 for just the visit, it was working, but not great. The service tech said nothing was wrong with the AC unit. The next day it stopped working again. I called them back and they said it would be another $100 to have someone come out, despite me telling them the tech said the $100 was good for a year and 3 services calls. Their dispatch held firm, essentially calling me a liar. (Why would I make up what the tech said?) I found another company that came out and found it needed refrigerant, a simple quick fix. Since then the AC has been great. In short, DO NOT USE NRG.

At first, it seemed the pros sent knew their stuff. Then I began to doubt it. Then they sent their main guy. ( Many years with them). My AC/Heat system was not working. It turns out the company does not have any idea how to fix something. He said the unit was moldy and rusty and the wiring was messed up. So I needed a new Heat Exchanger. He showed me stuff like that and said I need a new one. Then when he came back because it was not working he looked at the condenser pointed to something said it was leaking and I needed a new one of those too ($4000). I did not see any leak just as I did not see screwed up wiring, mold, or rust on my heat exchanger meant I needed a new one either. Workers who came are installers. All repairmen they have sent in a 9 mo.period do not know to fix anything. From what I have experienced all they know how to do sell and install new equipment. After having over $3500. with the company, my system still does not work. Crews came out looked and got it working before but now a new crew says it has a short. Previous repairmen said the filters need cleaning, that is why it is not working. The latest ones said that would not stop it from working. They are coming back again today. Nobody seems to know what they are doing. Not a pro among the whole company. Just salesmen. $$$$ and no results!

They expect 50% deposit prior to scheduling work, but after estimating.

Eli was wonderful and extremely kind and helpful. Not only was he a lively person who really wanted to help me, but he was able to offer an excellent first time installation for a price I could afford. When the NRG techs came, they were very professional, fully masked and very vigilante of covid transmission, putting on new shoe covers and wearing white PPE gear at certain times. They were ready for the operating room and were True princes! Everything was done quickly within 2 days of ordering the system, I was able to make several payments and I am so extremely happy to finally have air co Siri king, after having 6 different air conditioning companies give bids that I couldn t afford. THANK YOU!!! (If this sounds like a fake ad, it isn t!! All true)

Good price by comparison, but no one did measurements. It was a little tricky, but finally I think it all worked out well!

Ridiculously overpriced. Quoted around $200 during appointment call, ended up charging $675 for a capacitor change. Asked them how they came up with a $400 capacitor price, they would not give an answer other than were not a wholesaler. I tried talking to them post service - One of them was super rude, but in general, just getting the runaround. We ended up getting some credit, which in itself is an annoying experience (they kept on misspelling my name even after I provided the info in email - I guess copy paste does not work in their office); but the net amount was nowhere near what I would call fair pricing. My mistake for not getting more quotes. Do not be like me. Call around, get quotes, and just stay away from this company. I would rather do it myself if they end up being the only AC company in the whole planet. As far as the quality of work - it seems to be working but it is too new/recent to tell how it holds up. With a $400/unit capacitor, I expect it to last 20-40 years since that s probably 4-8x the actual unit cost.

They were very professional and had great communication. Due to the times we are living in right now, they took extra precautions and wore masks and were very good at social distancing. I would highly recommend them.

I have worked with NRG since the start, they are very professional and reliable. They come do a check up on my AC Unit when necessary making sure it is always in the best condition possible. I recommend them to everyone looking for a honest AC & Heating company great pricing and customer service!
