Installation was terrible, only thing good was the customer service of the people sent to troubleshoot the unit.

I was very impressed with every member of the team's professionalism. All my questions were answered. They were never in too much of a rush to explain things. Their installation manager, Felipe, found the most elegant way to install the necessary electric lines and heating and cooling lines from the condensor into my building. All the work looks so good., nothing slipshod or tacky like other jobs I've had done from other installers. Fernando and Adis went the extra mile climbing through really tight spaces to do the job right. And their prices was very competitive. I can't say enough about them. I highly recommend their services.

The technician was extremely good. Alex knew his stuff. He did a thorough job. But the company is screwed up. They sent him in a regular car/ no Truck! So, no parts! He had to diagnose and then leave for 2 days to bring back 2 small cheap parts. They should have had those generic parts in a truck. They want to book $69 appointments and then replace units , not repair.

The did the install and the new heater system install in one day and clean up everything before they left. Great customer service from Claudia to get me a great job and price.

The young man, Alex who has come out in a few occasions to diagnose and repair our unit. He is very knowledgeable and very honest and always right on target. Also, they have someone at my house within 1 day. Very good company and I recommend them.

In considering HVAC companies for our LA house I chose NRG Heating and Air Conditioning. In comparison to Costcoâ s sponsored HVAC company and three other HVAC companies from Angi, NRG stood out by being up front about their services, thorough in their assessment of our houseâ needs, and their reasonable cost to install the system. Additionally, their many positive reviews on Angi and their timely response to issues reported by previous customersâ complaints on Angi as well as on BBB.com were a plus for me. Itâ s important to me that a company is willing to repair faulty work, once discovered. The contract I signed promised that they stand by their â quality workâ . Ultimately I feel the company did quality work and I would use their services if needed again. The reason for my 4.5 out 5 rating is explained below. The initial installation, during the last week of December 2022, went fairly well. A team of about 6 workers showed up to dismantle the old system and install the new. They were professional and answered my questions throughout the day. I was impressed that they caught a problem with our house having too little duct work for the 5 ton unit ordered, to work efficiently. After conferring with their main engineer they determined that a 4-ton unit (heat & AC) would work better with the existing duct work in the house. A 4-ton unit was sent to replace the 5-ton unit in a short period of time. I appreciated that this company cared about doing a correct install. At the end of the day the final tests were performed showing that Heating and Cooling worked well. I was happy to sign off on the job that day. A couple of weeks later I noticed that the unit seemed to be tilted backwards. The problem with tilting relates to the condensation collection pan inside the condenser box, which catches water dripping from the condensation coils, during cooling. That pan must be positioned to tilt downwards towards the front of the unit, so that condensation will flow into the drainage pipe. The backwards tilt was significant enough that it left me wondering why it wasnâ t caught by any of the crew doing the install. NRG initially sent one of their workers to assess and attempt to fix the tilt issue a few days after I reported the problem. However, they were ill equipped to handle the job, and so I stopped the fix. It took a month and a half of phone calls and sending of emails with pictures that I finally had an agreement by NRG to send a crew to remove the HVAC from the platform, then level the platform, and finally reinstall the HVAC unit to a position that will guarantee that condensation will properly exit the unit during operation of the air conditioning. That fix was done by a crew of 2, and was completed in a few hours to my satisfaction. The reason Iâ m rating the company a 4.5 instead of a 5 is mainly due to the lengthy process to get the fix completed. Otherwise I do feel that the company appears to have a commitment to doing quality work and I would still use them again if needed to install an HVAC system.
