Aladdin showed up on time for the estimate, have been very prompt returning phone calls, their workers showed up promptly and demonstrated a good attention to detail, and they're just all nice guys. I'm feeling good about the project thus far. I'll report back after the new shower is installed, but if it is consistent with our experience thus far, I have every reason to believe we'll be very pleased.

From the first telephone call Aladdin was terrific ! Julio said he did not want to waste our time coming out IF this was something that we should get from the producer of our cabinets. ---but they would be glad to come out for a free estimate --once I found out from the manufacturer if they could replace it or not within the hour, I found out that it would be best to have a local company cut & install the glass ... Aladdin 's price on the actual piece of glass was less than than the manufacturer (even though they had told me I had a "priority customer discount" ..!) and the glass was installed within a week of our first call. The installer, Edgar and his assistant were nice, non obtrusive, professional .. We would FOR SURE use Aladdin glass for any of our future glass/window, etc., needs

We contacted several companies for a quote to replace a dated shower door (and wall) with a frameless door and partial wall. We contacted Aladdin because of the good reviews on Angies' list. They were very responsive, made an appointment, were on time, took very detailed measurements, factoring in the imprecise angles of an old shower and gave a quote that was much more reasonable than any of the other companies we contacted. We were a little aprehensive to go with the least expensive option, so asked lots of questions regarding the quality of the glass and what was included. Julio was very responsive, answering all our questions and assuring us the cost would include removing the old frame. When the work was to be done, they showed up on time, performed excellent work, took away the old frame and glass and cleaned the old tiles, leaving the shower looking so much better! We are extremely pleased with their workmanship and would definitely recommend them! The shower door is beautiful, exactly as promised and fits very well!

They were really nice and professional. I liked the man who came out but unfortunately I didn't find their estimate to be professional because it just had the price and didn't have a break down. Their price was really high compared to what I was quoted from somebody else. It's been almost a year now so I don't remember the price but I know it was around $1500 more or may be even close to $2000 more than the company that I hired. The thing that I didn't find very professional was that their estimate didn't have a break down. Everybody else that I had got estimates from told me what the window costs broke down to, the labor, the installation and everything else.

Julio came out and measured for the windows and the shower, and called me with an estimate that afternoon. I decided to go ahead with the windows immediately, but I am still considering what to do about the shower, as the price was over my budget. However, note that I I have not priced many shower enclosures, so I am still shopping around. A few days later, two men came out and removed the panes in question to get exact measurements, then replaced the old ones back until the new ones arrived. About two weeks later, the new ones were in. After one mixup where the men showed up to install and I wasn't home - I don't know whose mistake this was - they came out and installed them. Everyone was polite and they cleaned up after themselves when finished pretty well. The new windows look great, and I feel the price was very fair for the amount of work it required.

I recommend them because of the quality of their service and their cost. I am already planning to use them again.

Excellent! Everything worked out terrifically. I wanted all the work done in one day, and they sent two crews to make it happen. Unfortunately, part of the second shower enclosure was mis-measured, so they couldn't do that, that day, and had to come back. Some might say this is less than excellent, but I'd much rather a contractor say to me, "This isn't right and I can't install it," rather than installing it improperly and letting me discover the error later. I appreciated the fact that they acknowledged they had made a measurement error, and it was reordered and installed very quickly. To me, honest mistakes happen. It's how they're handled that matters, and these guys handled it perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company for their glass and mirror work, and will definitely call them if we need anymore work in this area.

Overall, a very good experience with Aladdin Glass. I would definitely utilize their services again.

They were an hour late for our appointment. Since I don't live at the address of the repair, this was inconvenient for me, as I had to wait there for them to arrive. Once there, everything went well. I would have appreciated a phone call to tell me there were running late.

They were great, really nice and helpful. They also did a cabinet door from glass. They did great work and they took my phone calls. They were ethical guys. I would have used them for another job, but they came in higher than somebody else did. I was pleased with the price, quality and service.

Overall, the experience was good. I paid them a deposit for the ordered mirrors. The technicians arrived on time, did what they said they would do, and completed the work in a timely manner. I have no complaints. I'm happy with their services and I would recommend them to others.

They came out and walked the job to give me an estimate. The estimate came after most of the work was done. Therefore, we used someone else. However, Aladdin Glass was very apologetic for not getting the estimate to u sooner. We would call them in the future if we had more work as they seemed conscientious and professional.

Called, they responded quick, got a bid, they answered questions, they came to measure, came to re-measure, 1 week to fabricate, then installed in 1 day. Good work.

This is the second time we used Aladdin. Their work is meticulous, They were on time from the estimate to installation and accommodating in every respect. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Ron, the owner, came out and took measurements. Later his office called with the estimate. It was very much within our budget. We needed a glass shower door installed quickly but preferred to opt for a framed shower door instead of frameless. Ron showed me examples of the glass and told me the benefits of certain styles as they relate to water spot appearance. A few days after ordering the shower door his team showed up and installed it. I was away but returned just as they finished. They professionally installed it according to Ron's plans and it was also done according to LA code. The problem was that since the house is from 1929, the shower was located in a corner next to the bathroom door requiring the shower door hinge to be located the opposite way that code would allow. But having it in the way that code would allow meant that opening the shower door and entering it would have been awkward. The team conferred with Ron by phone and got to green light to remove the door and return it to the manufacturer to have the hinges removed and placed on the opposite side. Once the manufacturer returned the door, the techs came back out and installed it with no problem. They didn't give me any guff about the job. They just did it and now I have a perfect shower door. A representative came to my house and measured the size of the mirror, then called back to give me the price and to arrange for workers to come to my house the following week and install the new mirror. The workers did an excellent job, were fast and efficient, made as little mess as possible under the circumstances and cleaned up after themselves. They ran into a couple of problems due to the configuration of my bathroom, which they were able to solve successfully. My new mirror is beautiful!

ron came and estimated the job at $390. he was o time. they scheduled the work, performed it on time, beautiful clean job. charged me $389. left. that night we noticed problems with the front door not closing 100% right. they came right back within a few hours of my call. fixed loose door hinge. door back to 100%. what else can i say? these guys get an a+ in my book. this was my second time using them in the past 18 months. found them on angie's list. thank you angie, and thank you ron lewis, julio and the aladdin crew

an example was the shower door replacement. They came out to measure an old door, found it was installed incorectly, got the correct measurements, made the door up and installed in the time frame promised.

Their estimates were very competitive with those on the Internet, but it gave me the option of driving over to Canoga Park and picking it up. I will be calling them back after the New Year and ordering the glass top from them. Will update my review if anything changes after I actually purchase the glass top.

Aladdin Glass is the best! They gave me a fair estimate, had the mirrors and glass ready when promised and installed them timely, cleanly and just great. They are easy to work with. I will call them for all my glass/mirror work - and anything else they do. Highly recommended.

They were very responsive to initial call. They came out measured, and promised work to be completed in about a week -- replacement window had to be special ordered. They returned as promised but brought pane that did not fit. They re-measured and said they would order another. After one more week, came and replaced window as promised. Also helped out with two other minor questions and even tried to fix stuck window at no extra charge. Personnel were very helpful. HOWEVER, while replacing broken window, allowed broken glass to fall from second story onto sidewalk/driveway below. I specifically asked that all glass be cleaned up. Workers DID NOT clean up and left a substantial amount of glass on sidewalk, driveway and street. Pieces as large as 4" were left right under the window. Not very professional or safe, but probably just an oversight.

I got several quotes, Aladdin's bid was the highest, but their level of professionalism was well worth the cost difference AND MORE! They worked with me to achieve the best possible design that met not only all my "Must-haves", but also all my "wishes". They even worked with me to get the top of the line product I wanted within my max price range when I was prepared to settle for the next to the top quality product. They were utterly professional at all times, knowledgeable about their products as well as bulding code requirements. They were able to accomodate the inevitable challenges posed by an older home (not all mounting surfaces plumb & square) with spectacular results! The owner personally came out to take measurements and discuss the design. They were up front at all times about the work schedule and accommodated me with a Saturday installation. How often do you find a contractor to rave about (in a GOOD way!)? The staff at Aladdin really cared about the outcome/finished product AND the durability of the installation for the long term - including a "forever" warranty on the installation. I love my shower enclosure - it is a real showpiece!

i wanted to install a full mirror on a bedroom door, and also to replace some corroded bathroom mirror bevilling. i called alladdin, spoke to julio, who was very efficient. he sent ron out to estimate. ron was very knowledgeable, impressive. the guys did the job beautifully -- on time, on price. couldn't ask for better. (ps. my impression is that finding good glass guys is not so easy)

I took the mirror to their shop, & they did the work while I waited. The craftsman explained the ins & outs of mirror cutting, suggested a certain size, did the work, & it turned out excellent.

They were very responsive to our initial inquiry and had Ron out to give us an estimate the next day. He was very professional and took all the measurements and discussed various options with us. We had a quote e-mailed to us that afternoon and we booked to install the panel the next week. The day of the installation the 2 installers were very professional and did an excellent job. They consulted with us on placement as we had a window that was a bit of an issue. After the installation they did a very nice clean up job. We're very pleased with the panel and Aladdin.
