ALADDIN GLASS & MIRROR OF CANOGA PARK

It was excellent. We had a consultation and discussed options. Measurements were taken and after a few visits to the house all of the work was completed to our satisfaction. The house was left clean every time work was done and the shelves and doors are beautiful!

The shower doors are so beautiful and the team was very clean and careful working in my home. They did such an excellent job!!

Both meetings for the estimate and the installation were exactly on time. Installation workmanship was absolutely excellent, the installers were well trained in how to be respectful of the owners space. They were quiet, clean and meticulous. The spaces they worked in were cleaner when they left. If there were questions, concerns or complications concerning the installation, I was informed and able to make an appropriate decision with them. I'm thrilled I hire Aladdin Glass and would do so again with complete confidence should the need ever arise.

The work was fine. We don't live in the area, but yes, I would use them again.

Carlos was very prompt when he came over to quote. I received quote later that evening. The men came to install this morning. Very nice and friendly, put tarps on floor at entry way to come into house as it was raining. They were very mindful about keeping everything clean. The glass door was installed fast, looks great, I'm very happy. I will use them again in the future for glass or mirror. I highly recommend them.

I emailed with inquiry to Aladdin. Julio emailed back the same day. Julio showed up right on time for the estimate. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Also showed up right on time the day of the job. They cleaned up after themselves. End result looks great! Would highly recommend.

Very pleased with the work and service - the Euro "S-Curve" shower doors look great; provide a lot of added style for very little additional cost. I purchased "standard" shower door sizes to control costs and after installation one of the doors was very different in the overlap distance and therefore appearance due to the differing standards sizes for the tub install and the shower install. Julio was very helpful with this and had no complaints or resistance about changing it. He made several calls to the manufacturer/supplier to look for options within standard sizing and swapped out the tub doors at no additional cost. Not exactly the same, but close enough now. Really great customer service. The closet doors did not fit the bottom track/carpet spacing exactly so some mods had to be made. The installer took extra time to make it as close as possible - not their fault; just a typical retrofit issue on an older house with very cheap original doors that had way different (smaller) track sizes. The exterior double pane replacement was fine as well - more expensive since it was a custom window, but a better quality piece that the one it replaced. The pricing seemed very reasonable to me (meaning good value) given the installation inclusion. I am not an expert on door installs, but I am picky on the final product - these look great. The installers took the necessary time to do it right. Unlike many services in the home, I have nothing to complain about or feel like I need to go back and "fix".

Julio was very prompt and responsive. He came out the day we contacted Aladdin. He gave us an estimate very soon after. The job was scheduled promptly too, the 2 people who came to do the work were very professional. I did not shop for pricing, I felt comfortable accepting the estimate, in my opinion it seemed reasonable. It is a large old glass window so it was really labor intensive. The workers were 3 hours or a little over. They cleaned up and moved all the furniture they had to move out of the way to complete the work, both the inside and outside were cleaned up so thoroughly you couldn't even tell someone had been working on glass. Job well done!

We are very happy with the really nice shower enclosure. At first, we went to Loew's hoping to save time and money. Both were not possible as the least expensive door they had in stock would not fit properly in the area above the bathtub/shower. So we went to Aladdin and we are so glad we did. Julio Gomez, the manager, showed us examples and helped us understand what was available. We chose the style, we set the date for measuring. When the area was measured, it turned out that the wall was not straight so the frame had to be custom made. They were very busy (a good sign of a good company) so the installation would be at least a few weeks ahead. But Julio called after a week or so to say they could install sooner. He was very helpful and courteous and a pleasure to work with. The installers did a fast and excellent job and we are very pleased that we went to a company who specializes in shower doors. Highly recommended.

They came out twice to measure to make sure all the measurments were correct. They arrived timely and were very clean in the work they did. They put down floor covering throughout the entry and in the bathroom. The workers were very professional.

Ron was on time, professional and informative. He was very confident and explained the procedures to me in a clear and concise manner. I had checked with a couple other companies and since the prices were similar, I went with Aladdin due to the great reviews on Angie's List and my own gut feeling. Fortunately, everyone was spot on! They did a terrific job and I couldn't be more pleased! So much so, that a friend is remodeling his bathroom and I told him to use Aladdin. He also had Ron come out and felt the exact same way...professional, prompt, knowledgeable....I would highly recommend this company if you need glass, mirrors etc.

Kept all appointments and arrived on time. Gave initial estimate on site. Sent technician out for final measurement. Requested half down and balance paid when installation completed. Ordered replacement panes. Returned to install replacement panes at agreed upon time. Cleaned up debris. Were nice.

I got the vendor from Angie's List. I called and requested an appointment for an estimate. On the phone the scheduler was very kind and professional. On the day of the estimate the "owner" showed up on time to review the job and write the estimate, that built my confidence with this company. Later that same day I received a telephone quote, at that time I gave the go head. The next day I dropped off a check at the their office to get the doors underway. In a few days they called back and gave me install date. The crew that showed were courteous, clean, and while we doing other things they just went on about their business quietly. In a few hours they were done and gave us a walk through and we signed our approval to the jobs completion. PS: Their clean up was excellent, and the covered the drains so that no debris could fall down into the drains. Would I use them again YES! In fact this week I am having them cut a glass top for our desk to preserve the wood finish.

This is my third job and second review for Aladdin. They don't disappoint. The came out and measured the table to make sure the glass was the perfect size, and came back in a week with a perfectly fitting top. They also figured out how to remove some scratches that were on the table which we thought were permanent. These guys are great.

I really liked Ron, who came out to give me estimate. He was very courteous. He was knowledgeable and on time. The estimate for what he could do was reasonable. He just wasn't able to do everything I needed. I wanted a frameless shower enclosure and he didn't really feel comfortable doing that as he was concerned about safety. He was cautious and I appreciated that. But he gave me a couple of suggestions and things to be aware of if I choose to go with a different company. I really appreciated his honesty and his time. I would definitely use them in the future.

The replacement mirror was perfect for about three days, until the mirror started to crack at the top and bottom of the mirror. The cracking originated at the locations where the screws were. I assume the screws are too tight. When I noticed the cracking, I called to see if they could come and replace the mirror again. Instead i was instructed to bring the mirror to the valley to have them replace it. Or, they would come back to my house for a $100 charge. I do not have the time, nor the vehicle to transport such a large mirror. I undesrtand they are in business, but I was given an inferior product and I would be going out of my way to replace something I had already paid for. I'll just look to get the mirror repaired closer to home.

Owner arrived and provided a quote and diagram efficiently. Installer worked with focus and skill to complete the project timely and with excellent results.

Aladdin Glass are a truly wonderful company. I had estimates from 4 different companies for a varied glass and mirror job: custom mirrors with holes cut for faucets, a frameless shower screen and single pane window repairs. Aladdin were able to estimate off brief, and when appointed were able to accommodate our tight schedule so that plumbing work would not fall behind. They did an absolutely beautiful job, asked questions when needed, and were totally competent and professional. And their price was very competitive. I'll certainly be calling them again - can't recommend them highly enough.

terrible experience a great deal of planning and time wasted

The company is very professional. What impressed me most was: 1) I had a ton of questions and kept calling with even more questions about grades of glass, etc (yes, I was one of those customers)... and they answered them all; and 2) they were very concerned about the safety of their guys. Normally, it would take about 2 guys to replace a pane of glass, but due to the size of the pane and the location on my house (it was on the second story on the front of the house with no roof ledge) they required 4 guys. Also, they upgraded my glass order to tempered glass free of charge just so no one would get hurt in case anything went wrong. The whole process was easy and the crew was great. And thankfully, no one got hurt. My one complaint is that I suspect I could've gotten the glass cheaper elsewhere (in fact, I did check around and there were cheaper quotes), but none of the other companies came out to inspect the site or seemed like they knew what they were doing. I went with Aladdin because they seemed the most knowledgeable and their service was hard to beat.

Great job all around. They clearly knew what they were doing, and were professional. Couldn't ask for more and will use again.
