They seemed very professional.

We appreciated John working on the weekend on our project, and helping us out in our projects. He is very honest, and very hard-working, and will go the extra mile to get things done. He brings all his own equipment, and one suggestion would be to watch out to protect your stuff from the work-space. Our garage (and my motorcycle) got a little dusty from the wood work, but I should have expected that and taken some care. He took a little more time than I would have thought, so that limited what the end quality came out to be, but otherwise, no complaints. His rates are very, very reasonable.

Things went pretty well. John was able to get to the footings of the supports beams from my neighbor's yard so did not have to destroy my driveway.He managed to save a lot of the fencing.

We thought the disposal was broken but it turned out that all it needed was the switch restarted. He just charged the minimum for coming out (gas), and brief time. I appreciated that he didn't charge any more for such a simple fix.

I would say the job went very well. John was professional and knew the job well. He identified some other problems under the kitchen sink which were contributing to the leak. He went to the store, bought the parts and fixed the problems. While I paid for the parts and his time, I thought he did a thorough job for which I am appreciative. He also did couple of other minor jobs, not plumbing related, quite well. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience. One small negative for me: I had to pay for about an hour's driving time as he drove from Campbell to Fremont which is about a 1/2 hour distance. He told me before hand that if he had to come to Fremont, it would cost driving time and I had agreed. However, it does add to the cost of any jobs and become a consideration on future jobs.

He is on time, his rate is reasonable, I find him to be honest, and workmanship quality is excellent. The only (slight) drawback is that he has underestimated the length of time he would need to perform a task. However, it's relatively minor, and overall he is very good. Will definitely use him again. Isn't that what it's all about?

I had an upstairs bathroom remodeled in the fall of 2008 but had never gotten around to priming and painting the trim on the outside of the window on the second story. I could not lift and place the ladder so that I could safely paint the trim. John was able to position the ladder and secure the bottom so that he could safely climb up and prime and paint the trim. He was very careful not to spill any paint or to get it on anything other than the trim. He cleaned everything up and replaced the ladder in the garage.

I only have a half bath on the first floor. My daughter and grandchildren were coming to visit from New Zealand in two days. My downstairs half bath had no fixtures. I was still laying the tile. John, worked around my tile laying timetable and came and installed the toilet and vanity. I picked up one of the drawers to the vanity and it fell apart. John was able to put it back together and shorten it so it would accommodate the plumbing and still have three working drawers. He saved us a lot of running up and down the stairs to use the bathroom.
