Description of Work: I thought that vendors on Angie's List were pre-approved to provide services. PCI was difficult to communicate with from not responding to emails, to sending emails that I already said were difficult to access, to texts that weren't even signed off on--I had no idea of who was texting. Although the work that was done was okay, I'm sure I could've had it done less expensively elsewhere. I felt like the vendor wasn't real focused when he was working and had to keep running to his truck to get tools--for the specific projects that I said I wanted done, I would've thought he would've come ready with the tools he needed. The vendor was nice, but it was really difficult to work with the company. Also, there were installation problems that affected my other TV and I texted Tony about them to see if he could tell me how to correct the problems, but he never responded back. I guess I will have to contact my cable service provider and pay a technician to come out, so I don't feel like I got my money's worth.

Description of Work: Initially I thought I needed to have my Home theater receiver reconnected after it was repaired, but in the interim I started to have computer wi-fi problems which Apple was unable to resolve. The technician from Precise Communications fixed the problem and then gave me some good advice on rewriting my home theater speakers as well as points to consider with a security system. This was all done without pushing to up-sell their other services, which I appreciated.

Description of Work: I had a stereo system that I inherited from my mother when she passed away. When we cleaned out her house after her death, I just started pulling plugs from everywhere and when I got it to my house, I didn't know which plug went where. Precision came out and set up the unit and got it working. Not all of it is working and I am not sure it is the system or that the technician didn't know exactly what he was doing. But I was happy to be able to now use the radio and CD player. I am going to take his suggestion to try and get a new amplipher (sp?) and see if that helps with the sound level.

 + 0 moreI have used this company for over fifteen (15) years for our home entertainment system, telephone system installation and inter com installation and repair. We knew them to always be reliable, knowledgeable and efficient. I did not know they handled security cameras when we decided to install them. If I had known, I would have called Precise Communications from the beginning. I called a company recommended by a friend who did not really know them and they installed inferior equipment and did a terrible job with the installation. Within weeks the system started to fail and ultimately stopped working completely. I got no satisfaction from the original installer. I looked on Angie's List for a security camera repair service and was shocked to see Precise Communications listed. I immediately called Tony. He responded, came out to our house and told us what I already suspected. We had an inferior system. However, he saved us as much as he could by salvaging as much of the equipment as possible and installed a new upgraded DVR, replaced one of the 9 cameras, relocated the replaced camera and rewired a portion of the system. He not only got the system working again but we saw an immediate substantial improvement in the system. He made three (3) separate trips to make sure everything was operating up to its maximum capacity and made tweaks where he deemed they were needed. . .
Description of Work: Restore an installation of security cameras for my home which had been badly botched by another installer.

He was very professional, the installation was flawless and he did a outstanding job leaving the house just like he found it. The cameras he installed are high grade and I love the DVR set up. PCI was worth my money, and I recommend to everyone!
