The team was scheduled to arrive between 9:00am and 10:00am on a Monday morning. Three workers arrived around 9:20am and got to work immediately tearing down the old fence and transporting the materials from the truck to the backyard. They worked steadily, finishing around 4:00pm that same day. They cleaned up pretty well. They were always courteous when dealing with me. Their primary language is Spanish; I had a bit of trouble communicating my answers to their inquiries as my Spanish is rusty, at best. But, they understood me and the fence is exactly what I wanted. Their price beat all of the competitive bids I collected. Everything was current on their license, insurance, and bond information. They are Diamond Certified and members of the BBB and the AFA. The in-person quote was scheduled quickly but be patient with the bidding/negotiation process as they are not always good about returning phone calls expeditiously. But, if you are patient, I think it will be worth it.
Description of Work: The fence separating me and my neighbor's yards was in a sad state of disrepair. It was an old standard fence with some lattice work. This fence has needed to be replaced since I moved in (which was nearly eight years ago). They knocked down the old fence, hauled away all of the old material, and erected a six foot tall, seventy foot long basic fence consisting of 1'' X 8'' redwood boards with 4'' X 4'' posts set every eight feet. This fence is very basic with no decorative elements nor any gate. This is exactly what I wanted as the other two sides of my fence are the same.
