Henderson Tree Service

A weekend storm blew a large tree limb down.. It was hanging over a fence between two properties. I was looking for somebody to remove it very soon to prevent further damage. Hendersons was unable to do the day they came out but came the next day at 8 o'clock in the morning before another job and did the work. They did a very professional job taking the branch down and hauling away the debris. Using the coupon provided made the price perfect.

I used an Angie's List $99 special offer and they were awful. They guy who came out was a nice man and he agreed to cut down a bunch of dead limbs for me that I showed him. He charged me an extra $100 which I agreed with so it ended up costing me $200. He had a bunch of guys come out at the end of their day and they were all sitting around in their truck. One guy got out rather apethetically and cut down some limbs; he did not even cut all of them nor did he bother to rake them up nicely. I ended up having to clean them all up. A 10-year-old kid could have done a better job. They did not come out for a good month-and-a-half or two so I will not use them again in the future.

They were punctual and neat. I don't know enough about trees so I don't know whether or not they trimmed the tree right but its okay with me. The price was very good because it was one of those Angie's deals.

Had three Mexican palm trees which had grown to about 20 feet and had not been trimmed for a few years. Although it gets more expensive the taller the trees grow, they worked quickly and really trimmed them well. Clean-up was fast and efficient.

Great job. Will definitely invite them back to care for the palm trees in the future.

Juan Ortiz came to my house the day after I called for an estimate. He and his crew did the work three days later. The work was excellent. Highly recommend.

I needed a tree removed to meet clearance requirements for some electrical work I was having done. When I called Henderson, the soonest they could come by and provide an estimate was a week out, but that was still soon enough for my electrical work so that was acceptable. They didn't give me advanced notice of when they would be sending someone by to quote the work, so I wasn't present for it. They called to give the quote, and had time later that day to return and do the work. I offered to go and meet them when they returned to start it, to ensure everyone was on the same page, but I was told that wasn't necessary since it was just one tree and easy/obvious. My wife was there when they finished, and she told me that she thought it was a bit odd that some surrounding bushes had been left, but I hadn't clearly communicated my expectations to her, so she just paid them and they left. I phoned again that night to express my displeasure, and they returned the following afternoon (and I did go and meet them this time) to take out the bushes, and didn't charge me anything. I didn't even understand originally that those bushes were different from the tree - they looked very similar to me and I did not notice that they emerged from the ground in a different location. Clearly I should have gone to meet them at the start of the job. Overall, I'm pleased with the way things turned out, despite a few miscommunications, and I would consider using Henderson Tree Service again in the future.

I bought an Angie's Big Deal to have my tree thinned and trimmed. I got a call from the company within a day of paying for the service offered. They were very efficient and professional and polite. I would certainly use them again. I did have to schedule twice: the first day scheduled they were a no show for two hours past the time agreed to and there was no phone call to communicate they were held up at another job. The second time scheduled they showed up early and got the job done. Other than a neatly trimmed tree, you wouldn't know they had been here because they did an excellent job cleaning up. This was money well spent.

The crew leader was very professional and had me explain in detail exactly what I wanted done, i.e. how much of the large 30 foot pine did I want trimmed, any off the top and so on. On the medium size trees he asked how much we wanted off the top and what percent of the branches did we want thinned out. The crew followed these directions very well, worked fast and efficiently and cleaned up cut branches, limbs and pine needles and hauled them away. All the men were professional and courteous throughout their time here. I would definitely use this tree service again.

Took 4 men and a very large boom truck two days to remove the tree. The complany arrived on time and completed the job in the time they said it would take. Very good clean up. Cleaned and raked my neighbors property also. Very happy with the service perfomed. Very professional. Would use again.

They came at the proper time, listened to my words, made suggestions, offered a bid, on the day he and two others were punctual, neat, and professional, and concerned about our interest.

They were very fast and friendly. Took less than 30 min. They even swept/used a leaf blower on the back patio as part of the clean-up. Invoice $250. Actual cost: $99 voucher plus $50. Great service and excellent value.

The best part of this experience was you couldn't even tell that they had been there, not a single leaf, twig or even sawdust was left behind.

They were wonderful. Their clean-up was awesome. I was really impressed by them. We have had several tree trimmers come out and they have been the best by far. They readily answered all my questions. I had some questions about some fruit trees. The person who came out was also a licensed arborist, and that?s the reason I chose him. He gave me good ideas on how to grow trees. They did a great job protecting any plants around the house. They weren?t the cheapest, but I will be using them every year from now on.

I saw them on Angie's List and others in my neghborhood had used them. It was a good price, they were timely and neat. They did a really good job.

They were excellent. They came out in the rain. We were expecting a huge storm with winds and we were afraid the trees were going to fall on the house. I had called them and they said they could get here in three days. I said you have to come today and they said they'd get someone over here. This was a couple of days days after I called them, but then the rain started and they went ahead and just came. They were trying to take care of emergency situations that were really critical. I was so happy. They told me that if it started to rain they would have to stop if it got too slippery. When they got to the house, it had just started sprinkling and I asked if they could just get the top off. So they started on the tree and then it started raining harder and I said they could stop, but they went ahead and took the whole thing down. I thought that was really wonderful of them to do. I thought if they could just get the real heavy part of the top off, that's all I cared about and they could come back and get the other part, but they did the whole thing. I was very pleased with them.

Four of these trees were about 80 foot eucalyptus trees around power lines. They were out here for a full week. They did a good job. Juan, who was the supervisor was good. They matched up with all previous reports. They gave us one of the lower estimates of all that we gathered, and their work was outstanding! You can't beat good work at a low price. It was just great!

Very prompt in responding to request for estimate. Job was scheduled and completed with-in one week of estimate being issued. I'm very satisfied with quality of work performed. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Everything went as expected and hoped for. The crew started a little earlier than they promised and work hard. They were done in the time expected, and I no longer would have to worry about this tree possiblly damaging the foundation of the house.

He was very hardworking. He had to come back a 2nd time because he forgot some paperwork.

I spoke with Nancy only by phone. She was friendly and helpful. I contacted the "call-before-you-dig" county people and got clearance from all the utility companies. Juan Ortiz estimated the job, provided proof of insurance, and headed the crew which came and actually did the work. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout the project. They were quick, efficient, and friendly, and did the job for the amount estimated. Frankly, I have never seen people work so hard before. This job required a lot of muscle and the workers did not tire easily.

After looking at several company's we chose this company because our neighbor yard. They gave us a mid-range estimate. They arrived on time. They worked efficiently and the clean up was thorough.

I'd been coordinating several renovation projects to update my grandmother's aging home. I needed an overgrown mulberry tree removed, and a podocarpus tree trimmed back away from the house before the house was going to be tented for termite extermination. I called Henderson Tree Service after reading the many positive reviews on Angie's List. I spoke with Bob Perez and he understood how busy I was and that I needed this work done soon. He offered to send his estimator out the same day, and said that I wouldn't even need to be present which helped me greatly so that I didn't have to take time off from my job to be there. Bob then called me that evening with the quote. After getting another estimate, I decided to use Henderson Tree Service because they were $300 less than the other estimate. Since I wanted to be there while the work was being done, Bob set up an appointment at my convenience. On the day of service, two workers arrived on-time (actually early), and the foreman listened to how I wanted the podocarpus tree trimmed. He also asked if I wanted to keep the wood from the mulberry tree that was being cut down. I hadn't even thought about it, but I'm glad he did because I live in the mountains and have a wood-burning stove. They then worked quickly and professionally, cut the wood into lengths that would fit into my wood-burning stove and cleaned up well. Bob called me a few days later to follow-up and make sure I was satisfied with the work. I will definitely use them again for any future tree services.
