The did a great job, except for the glass. They didn't do a very good job with it.

As this is the third cleaning Dennis has done for me, suffice to say, I am extremely pleased with his quality of work. In our initial meeting, Dennis was punctual and professional, as well as knowledgable. I was moving out of one home, and moving into another and asked Dennis to do both a move-in deep clean, and a move-out clean, as I work extreme hours and did not have the time for either. During the consultation, we walked through the homes, and discussed everything that needed to be completed. I'm pretty particular when it comes to cleaning, and Dennis had things on his list that I didn't even have on mine. During the move-in deep clean, Dennis and his team touched every nook, cranny, and crevice, and all ledges and edges. It was a big job (1800 sq ft, 4bd/3bth). He even gave me a couple of pointers for keeping things clean in the future. I was extremely pleased after the cleaning, as every surface was shiny, and spic and span. Even the ledges above the door frames had been touched. I knew I was in good hands when it came to the necessary cleaning for the move-out inspection. And, I was correct, Dennis' team cleaned top to bottom, left to right, and front to back, addressing everything on my list. In the end, I received my complete security deposit back from my landlord. The landlord even came through while Dennis was still there, and had no further requests. I will definitely be utilizing Dennis' services in the future, as well as referring him to friends/family.

I wanted to have deep cleaning done that my regular cleaning lady does not have time for. Among other things, I wanted the tops of high-up things to be cleaned and I wanted the calcium deposits on the shower fixtures cleaned. I discussed this all with Dennis. I was very very disappointed when I came home to see that the house looked - well, about as clean as my cleaning lady leaves it. Actually, the kitchen floor didn't look as good and they had not cleaned the grout in the shower carefully (see picture). I assume they cleaned the tops of things - I did not climb up and check. The shower fixtures still had calcium deposits. Dennis said he tried to clean them but it wouldn't come off. I am including pictures to showing before and after I did some cleaning on a fixture which show that he could have cleaned them - he just did not. I used a razor blade and some calcium removal cleaner. Dennis suggested I call some other person whose name he gave me. Another thing that was upsetting - I found that they had dumped dirt into a container that had my grandchildrens' bath toys in it. The container was a wastebasket, yes - but a very clean white wastebasket that obviously did not have waste or trash in it. I am including pictures of the wastebasket. There is also a picture of a bathroom window curtain that they must have knocked down and replaced since it is all crooked and dragging on the tile. All of this for $700.00. I would say it was worth maybe $120 tops. I called up my regular cleaning lady and asked her to come over and help me clean the next day since company was going to be arriving in a few days. I was expecting great things since I read very positive reviews about this business but I was very disappointed.

As a design build firm we are always looking for good cleaners to do post construction final cleaning on our projects. Dennis was more than willing to work with our tight schedule arriving on time. He was very responsive in providing any additional information and questions we had. Our client was very pleased with the work and we will be contacting him in the future for projects in which we need post construction clean up services.

Dennis and his team were magnificent. From the moment Dennis walked in to assess the job we knew we were working with a consummate professional. The quote was extremely specific and transparent. We felt more than comfortable proceeding with the job since we knew exactly what services would be performed. The deep clean was very extensive. Pretty much every surface in our house was touched, including inside the refrigerator. When I returned home after the team was finished I was blown away how perfectly clean things looked. I highly recommend going with Dennis for all of your cleaning needs, especially if you want the job done right.

Professional, detail-oriented, and concerned about getting the job done to the customer's satisfaction. Details of what the customer is expecting and of what can be accomplished are throughly addressed before the job is done, as are costs. The cleaning team came on time and did exactly what was discussed, plus a little extra at no charge. Aferward, I was encouraged to inspect the work which was excellent - I saw a very few "missed spots" that were "fixed" (cleaned) on the spot to my satisfaction. Thank you for the great service!

Dennis was awesome! Our place sparkles! Edges and ledges let no dirt hide from an army of people cleaning kitchens and windows and floors and cupboards! VERY PLEASED!

I wanted a full and complete detailed cleaning of every surface in the house - floors, baseboards, inside cabinets, air vents, window casings, window blinds, appliances, bathrooms, etc. Dennis and his crew did a great job, including polishing the granite and chrome - the house was spotless, just as I wanted. I listed the price as "fair" to mean that, five people for 8+ hours and the detail I wanted - the price was appropriate to the job that was done. This is not the "Maids" type of job, it's professional and thorough. I would definitely recommend Dennis to anyone who wants this level of cleaning for their home.

This is the second time I've contracted Dennis. I gave my son and daughter-in-law his deep cleaning service as a house warming gift, when they bought there first house. And he did a wonderful job basically cleaning every nook, cranny and appliance in the house. They were thrilled. Then I asked him to clean an apartment we keep on the west side. Once again, he put his crew and himself to the task of finding any and all dirt and dust, plus washing all doors, and woodwork, baseboards, cleaned applances etc., throw in a couple of windows, and the place looked and felt brand new. Next I'm going to have him attack my house....

Dennis was pleasant and good at his job.

This is the second time I have used them. On both occasions they have been extremely, thorgouh, friendly, punctual, and efficient. My first expierience with them was two days of spring cleaning. They made everything bright and spotless. My second experience was a last minute request. He was able to move an appointment around to accomodate me. When he showed up with his crew, he was extremely efficient and did an excellent job. They are one of the best companies I have had the pleasure of engaging with. A++

This is the third time we have hired Dennis and his crew to clean our home. We currently do not have a weekly maid service, so by the time we call Dennis in, our house is truly ready for a good scrubbing. Our house is fairly large, so we tend to clean it in large chunks, making it easier to manage. Dennis is great to work with in this way, as we can get very specific with him in what we want him to work on and what he can leave until the next "chunk". Dennis is very professional with his communication and organization, checking off boxes on his pre-printed "task list" as we're conversing, all the while asking the right questions in order to get the very best result for us. The crew is very professional also, taking great care with our personal effects, and ensuring there are no stones un-turned so to speak in getting things clean. Dennis appears to have a great relationship with his crew, as evidenced by the respect and attentiveness his people give him as he is delegating tasks and communicating detail. Each time they're here, we have asked Dennis to do different things, which he has handled easily and with enthusiasm. I could certainly write more in this review, but the basic underlying concept here, is this: of all the companies and individuals we've hired over the years - and there have been quite a few - Dennis Michaels and his company Mr. and Mrs. Mike and Son are hands down the very best we've experienced of anyone in the field.

Dennis who was very charming arrived with four helpers, which he herded around and told what to do. They vacuumed the floor and.., the upholstered furniture pieces. They cleaned the kitchen counters and bathroom counters with the solution that I personally use and which no other cleaners seem to have. All the solutions that were used were first class. One of the helpers got on a ladder to clean a big alcove high up which had not been cleaned for a long time. Dennis not only supervises, he also works himself and pays attention to details He is expensive but worth it.

All fine details were taken care of professionally. He also provides an every 3 week cleaning service to our home.

For more than 15 years my mother and I have depended upon Dennis Michaels and his crew to clean our four bedroom house. My mother first contracted Dennis to thoroughly clean the house after reconstruction work following the Northridge earthquake. When age and physical limitations made it difficult for her to perform basic cleaning chores she set up a regular schedule with Dennis, and we have been using his service ever since. The crew is always on time, very professional and thorough in their work. Dennis always asks if there is anything extra we want done, such as cleaning windows or polishing brass fixtures, and directs his crew accordingly. The workers are always considerate of our needs and when they leave we can be sure the entire house has been well cleaned and everything is back in its proper place.

We can't leave L. A. without a special, affectionate review for Mr. Dennis Michael and his company. In over 30 years of excellent service, Dennis never cancelled, was never late, was always cheerful.

The House Detailing went GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D/M & Team were professional, moreover; they cleaned like my mama and you can eat off my mom's floor. The attention to detail is the secret weapon. We required them to clean every thing in our home, down to every utensil; painting glass; flower petal; book and even power cord in our home. Very little was missed or broken. The service provided is true House Detailing similar to Car Detailing and is not a normal house cleaning. It took 3.25 days to clean up the mess, starting @ 9am sharp and they stayed to 8:30 pm the last day. DM & Team were also prompt, polite and accommodating and will even come back if you discovered something was missed. The only negative is that they don't put stuff back as you had it in some places. In all fairness I must mention that they came back to help me find the items in my kitchen that I couldn't find. So for an overall rating D/M & Team get 4.8 star rating and remember you get what you pay for, so PAY THE MONEY for THE BEST. I would not hesitate to call them again.

I had previously used Dennis and his crew last year to prepare my neglected home for sale. They did a terrific job for me then so, when it came time to clean up my new home, I went back to Dennis again. Once more he and his crew exceeded my already high expectations. The house still had the remnants of move in chaos so it needed a really deep cleaning. In addition, I was preparing for my big housewarming party so I knew there’d be a lot of people roaming about the place. As a bachelor I’m not used to being complimented on how nice and clean the place was, but I got several such compliments during the party. I didn’t let on that I didn’t do all the work myself. Now, this effort was not inexpensive. When I say deep cleaning, I mean they do DEEP cleaning. If you need your place taken care of for that special occasion, pre-sale, etc., you can’t beat this crew.

Since I've lived in my home for over 10 years, the place never got a thorough spring cleaning. I'm expecting guests and my house was dingy. So much needed be done it was overwhelming. Mr. Michaels made a preliminary visit. He was punctual and very polite and friendly. He didn't try to sell me on anything. We went through the entire house and discussed what needed to be done. He gave me clear details on what he interpreted needed doing and we made a plan. He explained how many days he thought it would take and how many people would be helping him do the work. The following week on the agreed upon date and time, he and his workers came on time with smiles on their faces. Mr. Michaels introduced me to each worker and explained what they'd be doing. The house was abuzz with activity. When I returned from work on the first day, the place was sparkling, and they'd only just begun! I was so pleased. The next two days were the same with Mr. Michaels and crew coming on time, with smiling faces and getting to work. They did everything from washing windows and cleaning baseboards, to detailing grout in the bathrooms and cleaning the soap scum off a glass shower door. Long story short, I was so happy, that I made an appointment with Mr. Michaels and his crew to come back before the holidays. I highly recommend this company for detailed house cleaning!

The experience was amazing. Dennis and his team were consummate professionals. Their care and attention to detail was exquisite. We didn't even think it was possible for our house to look this good! We threw a party the following day and many of the guests went out of their way to comment on how clean everything was. The most impressive thing, however, was how Dennis went and above and beyond to provide customer service without parallel. His team accidentally broke a salt shaker -- and Dennis personally drove to an antique shop on Sunset Blvd to replace it with a comparable piece. It was a really nice gesture and one that won't be forgotten by this homeowner anytime soon. I would gladly recommend Dennis and his team to anyone who wants their house to sparkle and shine in ways they never imagined!

My house is cleaned in a normal fashion every week but when Dennis came over to do his initial assessment, I could see his brows furrow (in the politest way possible)as he took in the scope of the job. You see, he sees dirt in a savant-like way, noticing every speck of grime, every stained bit of grout and he itches to get at it. Yet he is a lovely guy, instantly likable who evokes immediate trust. After he gave me the estimate, Dennis & his crew arrived for the day and a half job exactly on time. If you've read the other reviews, you don't need me to tell you how meticulous he and his crew are, nor how hard they work, nor how nice they are, nor how perfectly clean my house was when they were finished. Let me just say that in my many years with Angie's List I've never had anyone do a better job. As if that weren't enough, he did quite a bit of extra cleaning for free. What else can I say? There's no one like him. He's worth every penny and probably a lot more.

If Dennis and his crew would live with me, I'd happily put their names on my mail box! This is the 3rd time I have used the brilliant services of Dennis Michaels and his team. #1 - Years ago, my husband was suffering from chronic respiratory infections; Dennis and his team came and cleaned, scrubbed, dusted, vacuumed and sanitized every inch of my 3-bedroom house, including closets, drawers, mattresses, box springs and pillows; anywhere that dust mites could possibly hide. #2 - We have 4 cats and needed to "de-cat" the house in preparation for a visitor with allergies. In 11/2012, Dennis and his team came again and with a wave of their magic cleaning tools and brilliant attention to detail, my visitor survived the 4 day visit with very few problems. And, finally, #3 - last week, the cement floor in my office was demolished and rebuilt. But the construction crew didn't properly insulate the rest of the office area. As a result, cement dust was everywhere and in huge quantities. Dennis and his team, once again, went above and beyond all possible expectations and attention to detail. They cleaned and re-cleaned every wall, ceiling, floor, window, screen, shelf, counter, appliance, desk, chair, ceiling fixture, book, telephone, computer cable, pocket door and anything else they could reach and touch. For hours this team focused on ridding my office of abrasive cement dust without causing any damage to the surfaces they were cleaning... absolutely brilliant!!

My husband and I were extremely pleased by the level of work and service offered by Mr. & Mrs. Mike & Son. Family members were about to arrive the following week and our house was very grubby and the windows were filthy! We searched Angie's list to find a cleaning service and although initially Mr. & Mrs. Mike & Son seemed a bit more pricey than others, the reviews were great and we decided to call. Dennis Michaels came to give us an estimate and we were immediately impressed with his great attitude and knowledge of cleaning. He worked with us to find the best ways to make the most of our budget and gave us a detailed and comprehensive estimate sheet. Dennis and his cleaning team arrived promptly and were soon working at their various jobs. We were really happy that Dennis stayed the entire day: he was able to supervise and keep the whole job moving along. His team were great and worked hard cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms and all the windows inside and out. At the end of the day the house looked wonderful! Dennis and his team were so friendly and efficient that it really was an enjoyable experience. We feel that Dennis Michaels not only understands all about cleaning but he also really cares about doing a good job which makes all the difference. We can thoroughly recommend his cleaning service, Mr. & Mrs. Mike & Son, and we definitely plan on using it again.
