Mr. Michaels and his team were among the most professional people I have ever worked with. The process of getting a quote was not only incredibly easy but also very thorough. Mr. Michaels may be on the more expensive side of house cleaning, but he and his team were worth every penny and for anyone looking for a pristine house cleaning company, I will always refer them here! Clearly Mr. Michaels has mastered his craft because he and his team were incredibly efficient in all they did.

Dennis Michaels, owner, answered my call through Angie's List with a visit to my home and an extended conversation about what I wanted and what was important to me. We arranged a deep cleaning first appointment. He and his team cleaned everything on my list -- almost all day job -- for $750. We arranged repeat visits every 6 week coordinating both our schedules at $325 each time. The repeat cleaning visits are going great. Pros: Dennis confirms the day before. Always available by text or phone. He is always present with the crew, responding to my needs each time. I was delighted when he and team were able to move a superfluous washing machine out of it's hookup in the garage and get it ready for a buyer to pick up. Above and beyond! Dependable, flexible, responsive. I couldn't ask for more.

It was the best experience I have had with cleaning services. Competent cleaners and Dennis stayed to oversee the job the whole time. Promptly arrived at 9:00 and stayed until 5:00. I wish I could have had more done, but will call them back for other chores at another time.

Dennis Michaels and his wonderful crew have been cleaning my home for eight years. I'm picky and can say unequivocally that these experienced pros do excellent work. They're professional, pleasant, open to guidance, and give sage advice. By now, they're like my family, and I trust them without reservation.

Went very smoothly. Dennis had a crew of two women and one man plus himself. He worked right along with them and also provided direction and supervision.

Before choosing a service provider, I was searching for someone with good reviews. I was very impressed to see that Dennis Michael had so many great reviews. I think it takes a lot of a person to take her/his time to write a good review. It is most common to see people taking their time to write a bad review… The entire process was perfect. It started with a very professional free estimate by the owner of the company, who walked around the 2,000SF property and pointed out what can be done and what cannot be done. He then put a very organized proposal in place and gave me whatever time I needed to make my decision. He provided accurate and realistic expectation. The total cleaning process took exactly two days as he originally estimated. The owner showed up ahead of the schedule time on the morning of the first cleaning day for another short walk through. His team started the work on time, and I was able to continue with my busy day as planned. When the project was completed, I received a place that was super clean. Not only that Dennis Michaels delivered what they promised, they were also able to clean items that were not on the original list. I did not know that the tiles in my bath where originally white until they cleaned it for me. While the estimate and total cost was higher than other cleaning services I was looking for, it was worth every penny.

I cannot recommend Dennis and his crew enough. We had a thick layer of construction dust on *everything* and were bringing a newborn home. Over two days, he and his crew made our house look like I've never seen it -- it is actually sparkling! I should also add that we have crammed a lot of stuff into a very small house and they did an amazing job moving furniture and working around all our stuff. Over and above all that, our construction company balked at paying for some of the cleaning and Dennis worked with them to get as fair a deal as possible. We couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend them.

PERFECT! that about sums it up! Windows, furniture, window sills, floors, carpets. everything done down to the detail. Professional and on time. I was kept informed of everything. And it also helps that they are so easy to deal with and polite.

Their estimate of $1,450.00 to clean an empty 3 bedroom house which had been repainted and the carpets had been professionally cleaned, was more than $1,100.00 higher than any other estimate. I was dismayed by their outrageous estimate. A big waste of my time.

Dennis and his skilled crew deep-cleaned long-ignored windows and walls; nooks and crannies; tiles and tubs; and each room, from floor to ceiling fan. I cannot say enough positive things about Dennis and his team. Dennis is the consummate professional: he responded quickly to our request for a quote and came over and walked through the entire house with us. He had many great suggestions and made up a super detailed list of what we wanted to have done and then came back a few days later with his crew. We had them clean the kitchen & downstairs bathrooms from top to bottom (including removing stuff in drawers & the fridge/freezer so that they could clean out them out and then replacing items in the clean spaces, which significantly increases the time & cost). We also had them wash the walls, floor, and windows throughout, clean the furniture and clean the stairs to the second floor and the second floor windows above our front entry way. At this level of detail, it took them 1 and 3/4 days (the first floor of our house is ~1800 square feet). They did a FABULOUS job. Their attention to detail is amazing... I love the fact that not only does everything LOOK clean (even nooks & crannies in the bathrooms & kitchen), but I can run my finger across any surface or ledge & not pick up any dust. I have asthma and I literally find it easier to breathe in our house post deep cleaning. Mr. & Mrs. Mike & Sons are not cheap, but, in my opinion, are well worth the cost... a couple of the rooms that I had been thinking needed to be repainted now look fabulous just from having the dust & grime removed. One minor complaint is that they missed one of the drawers in the kitchen (but this was the ONLY thing that they missed out of the literally dozens of things we asked them to do.) Will definitely hire them again to do our second floor once we have the clutter cleared out up there & hope to make this an annual event!

Dennis and his crew did an outstanding job! They arrived on time, worked tirelessly, and left my new home sparkling clean. Be prepared for sticker shock - their service is expensive! But it is so much more than just a basic house cleaning. Dennis deep cleans every corner of the house and leaves everything looking like new. The attention to detail is extraordinary. In my experience the extra cost of this service is absolutely justified.

This is the second time I have used Dennis and his remarkable crew. My first experience with Dennis was when I had a major plumbing disaster, and the cement pad under my master bathroom needed to be opened up. That left my entire master bedroom suite covered with much cement dust, that you could write your name on every single surface. It was so bad that I was doubtful it could ever be truly restored. But after a full day's work by four people, it was absolutely pristine! You will find my review of that experience posted here approximately six years ago This time, my housekeeper of 30 years had finally retired – – and I had been limping along doing my own house cleaning – – not very well. I finally called Dennis and his hard-working, meticulous crew of three, to deep clean and detail the house. This time, it was not just the guesthouse, but also the main house. It took them one and a half days – – but once again, when they were through, the place was pristine. These are professionals. True professionals. Dennis has decades of experience, having taken over the family business from his parents – – and he approaches his work with tremendous commitment and pride. He has instilled that same commitment and pride in his crew. They truly do "detail" when they clean – – carefully, skillfully, and cheerfully! They are a delight to have in my home. It was such a good experience, I decided to have Mr. Mike & Son come once a month as my regular cleaning crew. There is a quantum difference between Dennis Michaels and his professionals, and any other cleaning crew I've ever experienced. I am, by nature, on the obsessive side, and details matter to me. I also own a lot of art and antiques which must be treated with care and respect. When Dennis and his crew are in my home, I know I am in good hands. I cannot recommend Dennis highly enough. You would be lucky to have him taking care of your home, or preparing your home for sale, or cleaning up after remodeling, construction, or major repairs. Dennis was very flexible about changing dates since we were unable to gain access to the house on the scheduled dates. Him and his team were very detail oriented and did a thorough job. His prices may seem high but well worth it.

I had a great experience with Dennis and his crew. They were all highly professional, organized, courteous and did a great job. My hope to have an empty space for them to clean was thwarted by some renovations going overtime and us moving in already. They fit in around us anyway and were very flexible. I highly recommend them.

If you’re like the old me, you get your house and windows cleaned on an as-needed basis. The trouble with that strategy: you don’t realize how, even with occasional surface cleaning, you are gradually drifting down the road to darkness. Michael and his crew do what I recently heard somebody call “deep cleaning.” What a difference! Things shine. Colors are revived. You can see edges and lines. The whole process is precise and professional, starting with absolute clarity about how deep you want your “deep cleaning” to go. And it’s an education. You can ask Michael your questions and give him your toughest jobs. And of course it costs a bit more, in the short run. Give it a try and see if it doesn’t make sense to do this type of cleaning periodically.

Overall, they did a good job. There were a few areas missed, however, they happily returned to clean and complete the job. Dennis, the owner, was very professional and friendly, always communicated promptly, and followed up with me after the job--all of which I appreciated. He truly cares about the quality of the work being done and wants his clients to be satisfied. Excellent customer service.

It went well. Mr. Michaels is just the kind of guy you want doing this. He's got years of experience, strong opinions, exacting standards, and grace to tie it all together. The service seems expensive until you realize this is not home cleaning, this is home detailing . It's like when they detail your car: you expect it to end up like new. Mr. Michaels and his team make your home home as close to new as they can. And he warns you beforehand what is not going to look like new. Super beat-up hardwood floor? No, those scratches and gouges aren't going to come out, but it will be as clean as heck and shiny. Dreary old kitchen counter tops? Now they feel smooth and polished and CLEAN. I don't feel like the previous owners history is all over my surfaces. And during the walk-through after, Mr. Michaels pointed out what couldn't be improved, like where previous cleaners had used a caustic substance and damaged surfaces, or let the Comet sit so long it turned grout green. But he and his crew cleaned things that I didn't realize could be cleaned or things that I didn't know should be cleaned. He answered my questions for how to keep things clean and gave me some pointers. In all honesty, it's time for him to publish a book after all the expertise he's developed over the years. Mr. Michaels and his crew are extremely hard workers. I really think they give you your money's worth. It's a lot of money for a lot of elbow grease. They also gave me peace of mind that my family would be in a clean environment. They gave me such a great foundation to begin my own housekeeping on. I'm inspired to keep up with what they accomplished.

Dennis promptly returned my call for a meeting. He arrived on time and we began a complete analysis of the property to arrive at an estimate. The process was lengthy and included a room-by-room inspection with detailed discussion about what would be done to each and every surface. He has a vast knowledge of how to clean and refurbish all kinds of surfaces; which was invaluable given our home was a 1921 Spanish bungalow with many original details still in tact. We covered 3 bedrooms, 5 closets, 2 bathrooms, and converted garage office, kitchen, dining and living room, windows, floors, and skylights with precision. He agreed to even tackle a tiled water fountain on our porch which had managed to accumulate water calcium deposits. Upon completion of the estimation process, I knew with great confidence that this man knew his business well and that we had chosen the right person to give our home the spit-shine it needed to attract potential buyers. While not cheap, under his supervision, we felt every penny would be money well spent. The 2 day job began on time as scheduled. Dennis was on-site supervising his diligent crew through the whole process. His crew is professional, courteous, and they even smiled and laughed while tackling the most detailed of jobs; like hand scrubbing our period bathroom tile floors and walls (something i still marvel at!). Dennis called to inform me of their progress at the first day. At the end of the job, our house was truly transformed! The home was cleaner than it had ever been and by the time the stagers moved in their furnishings, we had a jaw-dropper of a property to market. We received 6 offers and accepted one that came in $50,000 over our asking price. Make no mistake, Dennis Michaels knows his stuff! His is a dedicated, consummate professional and a really nice person to boot! You won't regret having his team work on your property.
