SUNSHINE GUTTERS

I was not impressed at all with their service. They destroyed an old redwood gutter that I asked them to gently remove, then broke it up into pieces and discarded it. It seemed the man I spoke with initially failed to relay this information to his crew, most likely because the crew members could not speak any English to my knowledge. They left sharp metal shard lying around on the ground around the work site, and one of the crew members carelessly (while accidentally) swiped me with his caulk gone while he was walking by. I had to explain to one of them to color match the screws to the gutters, twice, and it seemed I had to stay out there and supervise everything they did. At first they had the down spout flowing out straight into the foundation, I had to tell him to make sure it would direct the water away from the house to avoid erosion. They were only here for an hour, and it was really an overall bad experience. They claimed that because they pay their employees so well, they have to operate on a bid that represents that higher cost. I can't make a connection on this high regard for their employees based on this experience.

They did not call me for over a week after I have contacted them. There price was much higher then what I thought I was originally purchasing the deal for.

I don't want to do business with people who use misleading ad to get customers. Because Angie's list maintain these businesses, it reflects as to what kind of network you have. Therefore, I don't want to use Angie's list as well. I was under the impression that Angie only keep those providers who are trustworthy.

A date was set for gutter cleaning service and they were a no show. When I called to get an eta, the person said the service rep was on vacation and had contacted all customers to postpone their service dates. I did not receive an e-mail (I checked thoroughly) or a phone message and was kept waiting at my home. Frustrated, I contacted a local company to perform the gutter cleaning and they came out the next day and did the job. Fast response and no problems and $65 cheaper. They will be doing my gutter cleaning in the future. I respectfullly request a refund of my $20 deal purchased for Sunshine gutters.

The price is good. They talked me through. They talked to me about additional expenses because in their opinion, it wouldn't be worth it. They talked us through the plan and they did exactly what they said they would do. The quote was exactly what they said. I'm going A all the way down there. I've got no complaints for those guys whatsoever.

I contacted Erin of Sunshine Gutter on Dec. 18th and left her a mesage. I didn't get any call back so I called again on Dec. 22nd. A contract was mailed to me and set up an appointment for work to be done on Dec. 29th at 8am (1st customer). I waited until 9:35am and no one came by so I called Erin again. She told me she rescheduled it to Dec. 31 first customer around 8am. However I was not given any notice at all for the change of work schedule. Our family celebrated New Year lunch and the bell rang. It was Victor of Sunshine Gutters arriving at 12ish. with another companion and they said it will take only 45 min. to do the gutter. Victor and his companion are nice guys. My point is that there is a lack of communications from the provider. It looks like the customer is more eager for the business to be done.

Due to hidden nature of gutter cleaning and repair we can't say yet.

I spoke with the company and I asked them some specific questions about coming out to give me an estimate. They then told me it would be $210 just to come out at a minimum and there is no guarantee on the repair work they do.

The crew finished in the allotted time and cleaned up discarded materials.

It went extremely well. When I got the estimate, I thought it was too much and that some of the gutter replacement was not needed. An estimator came and showed me precisely why the work was needed and he was absolutely right. The work was done promptly and well.

I first saw and purchased this offer from Sunshine Gutters via Angie's List ($213 off) last August, but we were unable to have the work done until the end of March. Sunshine Gutters worked with us last Fall to nail down every last detail of the work we wanted done, then agreed to set if aside for us until we were ready to proceed with the installation. They did a fantastic job and the new gutters work perfectly and look good as well They were incredibly courteous, helpful and professional throughout the entire process, from our first contact with them until the successful completion of the work. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

im surprised that it was so costly. The job took less than 2 hrs for $485. Next time you will give other bids. Their minimum charge was $285. after the work was done i looked up another company and their minimum charge was $125 for the same work.

Great. They were punctual, friendly, polite, explained clearly work that needed to be done and provided a quote quickly. Haven't had much rain yet but so far so good with the rain we did have.

They did a fine job - fast and efficient - and cleaned up the area all around afterwards. My only complaint is that the price seemed quite high for the job - we only have three gutters and downspouts!

Service provider arrived on time and all went well, however the next rain,within a week, showed evidence that one of the gutter joints was not sealed properley , as I noticed it was leaking. Now the agreement that is signed, provides no guarantee on their work, Kind of odd, yet I am thinking that work that doesn't even last a week, is not worth getting at all. When I payed the bill, I made note of this leak and also that I was interested in adding a gutter to another part of the house. I asked for them to contact me, after 2 weeks and no call, I phoned them! (Should have seen this coming) We played phone tag for a couple of days, as I could not reach them during business hours. Maybe they were closed between Christmas and New Years?? So my last call to repair the leak, has gone unanswered. Very disappointed in this service and follow through. Will find someone else to take install the additional gutter.

He only repaired the gutter seam and then they wanted full payment. I have requested that they return to complete the job in full and then I will pay them.

went ok, had to tell the installer to be more detail oriented, ie at the corners to cut the product at 45 degree angle to make it fir perfect. he had left them overlapped, which looked ugly. but overall pretty good experience. the calling back from the office was not good. We had an appt for them to install more product and I had a question that I left 2 messages and no one called me back to confirm the appt, the installers just showed up.

Price is quite high, price not reduced for work in estimate that wasn't done. Crew on time and quite professional until less than sterling clean up. Experience could be improved by a more proffesional office staff, really how many follow up calls do you need?

Sunshine Gutters was puntual and friendly. I had drain spouts from under my deck that poured into my gutters - where pigeons were going into to. At no additional cost they covered those drain spouts with their gutter glove screens and worked around them when covering up the gutters. Price was good -- as was the service.

They showed up on time, did the work well, and in a timely fashion, and cleaned up their mess completely. They also repainted or replaced some eaves that had rotted. Two years later, the gutters look new, and function just as advertised.

Was easy to schedule visit to my house, though they had to reschedule when they ran out of gutter screen and had to re-order. Once on site, the repairmen got quickly to work and were done in relatively short order. I'm glad I won't be climbing my ladder in a rainstorm this winter to clear out the leaves!

I was happy with the work, the issues were real, and I cannot remember anymore details than that.

Unfortunately, they didn’t have the right gutter covers to fit my gutters. Apparently I need custom gutter covers made to get the job done. Although they couldn't do the job, they were very apologetic, professional and friendly. I will use them for other future services if needed. I am being refunded for this purchase.

The work was done promptly and at no charge, because they had installed the gutters about a year earlier.

.They came to remove the old deteriorated drain pipe, installed 2 -20 foot pre-painted 3" round aluminum downspouts, installed another scupper.
