Overall they did a great job with minimal inconvenience to our family. They were on time, professional and great to work with. They removed all of the furniture (for a fee) and placed everything back where it was originally. Before leaving they checked in with me to make sure everything looked great and that all of the furniture, etc. was placed where it was supposed to be. They cleaned up and the house looks wonderful! Additionally, I had a delivery of a new awning while the installers were there and they helped the UPS person bring the awning to the back yard! I will have them back to do the upstairs next year.

We couldn't be happier with Floor Dimensions and how our project turned out. Everything from Sales thru End of Installation was just a great experience. Now for some specifics Sales process: I reached out to floor dimensions under an unusual set of circumstances. My project was already approved by our HOA under a strict set of guidelines and very unreasonable insurance requirements ($2 mil in general liability + $1 mil auto + workers comp etc). These requirements made it really hard for me to find a company that was willing to do the job while staying within our budget. My first conversation with Floor dimensions they had a very quick turn around on my requirements and agreed to pay out of pocket to obtain an entire years worth of extra insurance to meet our HOA's requirements. This just showed me how far they are willing to go for their customer and also cared about getting business. Their estimate was definitely on the high side but, overall I was impressed by their professionalism during the sales process to a point at which I decided to ditch my existing contractor (who didn't have insurance but was much cheaper) and went with Floor Dimensions. Installation: It only got better after the sales process. The installers arrived as scheduled and they were great. They were knowledgeable, friendly and worked tirelessly to remove the carpet, 2-layers of fiberboard and then going on to install sound proofing, 2 layers of plywood and then the hardwood flooring on top. Our project took almost 2 weeks to finish but that was mostly due to the insane amount of labor required to remove and install everything that our HOA required. We had several challenges during the install and Jose the installer worked with me asked for my opinion and gave great recommendations and solutions to address those challenges. One of the things that really stuck with me during the install was our walk-in closet situation - the previous owner of our house must've taken a shortcut as they had installed the closet system on top of the original carpet. During the sales estimate we had decided to not touch the closet system instead simply install the flooring around the base of it. When Jose discovered the different layers of carpet when removing the old carpet he recommended we remove the entire closet system and do it the right way and not take shortcuts even though this would've meant more work for him. He even let us paint the entire closet before putting the closet system back in since we'll never get a chance to do. I am so glad he pushed us to remove the system and do it the right way because now the entire closet is painted and the closet system is installed on a stable footing. Overall: I'd recommend Floor Dimensions to anyone who's looking for a no drama, no surprises install. I must've gone thru a dozen companies and closely evaluated at least 3 other companies but, the professionalism and attention I received from Floor Dimension and their owner Janka was 2nd to none.

I went to Floor Dimensions and spoke to the sales rep, Jason, about installing hardwood floors. He answered all my questions. It went very smoothly. I chose solid red oak hardwood flooring to replace the carpeting in my house from the selection of stock they said they had available and I would not have to special order. I wanted something nice that came from a sustainable source and didn't want anything too fancy or exotic. The selection of stock they had was fine.I made an appointment and Terry came and measured the floors. Jason sent me the estimate which included the 10% discount from Angie's on-line coupon. I set up the installation date and they came and moved the furniture, removed the carpeting and installed the hardwood flooring in 3 rooms in my bungalow in 2 days. The installers worked very fast and obviously knew what they were doing. I came and went all day long as they did the installation because the installation is very loud process. When they were done they put felt tabs (that I bought) on the bottom of all my furniture so it wouldn't scratch the new wood floors. The floors look fabulous. I am very happy with the new floors.

Their initial bid was more expensive than any others, however, they negotiated the price down to meet their competition. The work was completed on schedule and professionally, and they have been very good with follow-up questions and issues such as what type of padding to use for new rugs on the hardwood.

I was very pleased with the service from start (sales staff and estimator) to finish (installers). The sales people we dealt with were friendly, patient and very helpful. They answered all our questions, let us take home samples and gave us time to make up our minds. Likewise, the individual they sent to our home to work up an estimate was personable and quite knowledgeable. He listened to what we had to say, carefully explained the installation process and gave us recommendations about certain options. He even came back to our home a second time (after the original carpeting we had in the room had been removed as part of separate remodeling work we were having done to this area) to see if he could further refine his estimate. The estimator had scheduled three days for job (one day for prep work on the floor and two days to install). This seemed excessive at first, but given the close coordination required with the electrician (I had scheduled the electrician to come out on the second day to wire up the electric radiant heat system) it turned out to be just right and the work was completed on time. The installer was very experienced, hard working and very accommodating. He worked closely with the electrician and was extra careful not to damage the heating matts and wires. He also took extra time to add some custom finishing trim along a door threshold where we had previously installed some tile. Overall I was very pleased with the service and results, and I thought the cost of the project was fair, given the added complexity of the job.

The office staff and the estimator were very helpful and friendly.The price was under what I had expected. The two installers were on time, very professional, and worked very hard- the base flooring is apparently not even, so that involved more work and re-measuring. They even did a few extra things to help me out(I live alone) that they did not need to do, which I very much appreciated. The floors look beautiful, and I'm very happy with the work, I would definitely use the company again.

I had an excellent experience with them. There was a lot of work to be done. The people that came in were very professional. They came in when they said they were going to and the result was outstanding. The gentleman who came in and did most of the flooring was just so dynamic. When they first started laying the floor they put a different kind of under flooring which was not working and he immediately changed it and explained it to me. He told me what he was going to do and how he was going to do. I felt comfortable enough with him because he said he was going to take two and a half days. I had not moved into the house yet; so, I left my key with him and he came in and finished the work. He just stayed with the job until it was done. He was very impressive. It was just a fantastic experience. I had used them as a second choice, but they turned out to be the best. Everybody from the sales person in the store to the people who did the job was very knowledgeable. I was very overwhelmed with the different types of wood choices they had. The woman in the store walked me through and asked me the right choices so from 2000 choices we had we came down to three. She offered me to take the samples so that I can take it home and decide. She gave me perfect service in the store and told me that she will send me the best service men to do the work. I would recommend them very highly to anybody.

Ryan and his crew arrived on time and could not have been more professional or skilled. They not only moved all the furniture off the areas that needed flooring, they did it with utmost care. The most amazing part of the job to me was our media room and master bedroom. The installations were done in three steps without removal of one stick of furniture! Add that to that the fact that these very difficult installations were done with no damage to either the new floors or the furniture and you have an outstanding job and a great experience.
