Description of Work: Repaired my Hearthstone gas heater (replaced parts for pilot lights).

Description of Work: They came to my house, did a visual inspection of the hot water heater and told me they wouldn't work on it due to some light rust stains in the pan, they later came back and did an estimate for replacement of the water heater. The unit itself is in fine working condition and does not need to be replaced. I contacted the company for a refund of my money since no services were performed, they didn't respond to my message immediately, but I later heard back that I would need to contact Angie's List directly since I had purchased the deal through them. Their employees were all courteous.

Description of Work: It went ok. I called because I had a problem with my kitchen sink that led to some damage in the space below. They informed me that they could not help me with secondary damage.

Description of Work: They replaced a broken pipe and did various other things that came up in the course of that work. They did everything very well and according to expectations. The only thing I didn't like was that their estimates were not completely clear and ultimately this was quite a bit more expensive than anticipated.

Description of Work: They were called to unclog my bathtub. They had to come back twice to unclog. However, after each time the clog came back within a few days. And their recommendation and lack of recommendation (I found out later on) were lacking. | |I had to use another plumber to get to the root of the problem (so to speak). I have roots growing in my pipe. At least Albert Nahman discovered that also. The new plumber said the job AN did was substandard. They also recommended a much much cheaper fix than AN. It is using a root killer to see if that would solver the problem then going with a huge expense of completely redoing the bathroom.

Description of Work: Cleared plugged main sewer line under home. Took about 15 minutes.

Description of Work: They flushed out my hot water heater and replaced some defective parts. He took the time to explain everything to me, and I was glad that he repaired some valves that were defective.

Description of Work: Received multiple services. First problem was resolved with a sewer lateral replacement. After that was completed my ejector pump broke and they also replaced that. Since I was without the use of my bathroom facilities when I initially called them, I did not shop around for a good price, only finding someone that would do the job immediately. So, I don't know about price comparison, but all else was handled with quickly, and with professionalism to our satisfaction. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: After a serious hot water leak under kitchen sink, A N Plumbing replaced all pipes and fittings under sink and installed a new faucet I purchased else where. Work was done in a professional manner and faucet and plumbing works well. Reps were good at explaining the work and answering questions. The work might have cost more then other plumbers but the work was good and no surprises so its worth the extra.

Description of Work: My 2 year old through something down the toilet that clogged it. I had tried to get it out but called this provider when I failed. They also failed and charged me $257 total. They wanted too much to replace the toilet. I did it myself and got a good, water efficient Kohler for $200 not including $50 rebate from utility. It was so easy to install, and is amazing. They offered to put in a toilet for something like $350 or $400. What that got me was a "5 year warranty", plus labor. I broke open the old toilet after I replaced it, and sure enough, a little plastic toy was in there. I don't know why they didn't have the tools to get it out. Maybe nobody does, but it was a big expense for nothing. They are very professional, and neat. But expensive.

Description of Work: Replaced an old furnace. John, the hvac tech was great. Gabe, the salesman not so much. Gabe, give me a call - the new furnace is louder than my old one and I wonder if there's anything more we can do.
