Tony replaced my old water heater with a new one, and in the process found a termite nest, along with some termites crawling up the wall. He cleaned it all out and had his assistant buy some spray to kill the ones that were left. This was at no extra charge to me. I found him to be thoughtful, courteous, knowledgable, and he did a great job. When he left, he made sure everything was cleaned up. I've used this company before on a complicated plumbing job, and had a similar experience. I would definitely use them again.

The technician was very nice and helpful. He provided some suggestions on what to ask the other technician for reinstallation of the repaired dryer. I would definitely call them again if necessary but i would probably do this on my own the next time and save some money.

Marlon arrived on time. We walked through what needed to be fixed. He made the repairs and showed me what I could do if the problems started to resurface. He was efficient, professional and well represented his employer.

The company called and set appt that was convenient for me. Otis arrived on time and was courteous and professional . I showed all the troubled plumbing he explained what he thought might be the problem and got his tools from the truck and proceeded to fix the problems. He was efficient and knew his job. Otis did a great job!

$200 or so to replace a p-trap is insane. The previous service was to replace the valve inside the toilet tank, a part that costs about $10 and takes 10 minutes to replace. They charged $238. I have been doing business with them for years and every time I kick myself over the cost. They have a discount program that is complicated and may save me some money in the future but if I have any non urgent work I will definitely try someone else.

Both services were performed with professionalism, the technicians were knowledgeable, answered all questions and explained how the new systems worked and how best to use them.

They charged extra for parts--duplicated AL price for two water heaters in same location. Wasn't too happy with either of these facts.

Technician was on time, explained everything, replaced leaky hose/connector quickly, no mess, took a coupon from Angie's list. Company had also been recommended by friends. I would pass along the recommendation too.

These old (1930s) plumbing fixtures and their parts do not match current standardized plumbing components, therefore making the older installations more problematic to work on. It's not just a matter of "swap out a standard sized part". The plumber has to match older 7/8 " fittings to modern 1/2 " connectors, deal with non-standard pop-up basin stoppers, etc. Willaim and Sal scoped everything out, got the parts they needed, put everything back together, tested for leaks (there were none), mounted and recaulked the pedestal fixture, and did a great job of cleanup. A professional, class act all the way. And...they were friendly, personable, and quick! I've used Albert Nahman Plumbing before; they've installed a tankless water heater for me, repiped most of the house, and done lots of smaller maintenance jobs over the last few years. Always conscientious, quality work, and always reasonably priced.

They did a fantastic job and were clever about it (can't see ugly parts from outside of house). They took 2 Angie's list coupons!

I called Alfred Nahman Plumbing to replace an old water heater. The estimator came out at the time he had promised and gave me an estimate for the work. We scheduled an appointment for the end of the week. The two plumbers showed up, on time, and installed a water heater. Unfortunately, I did not notice until a couple of days later that the wrong size heater had been installed. I had requested a 50-gallon tank but a 40-gallon tank was installed. I called ANP about the mistake. They apologized for the error and a new, replacement 50-gallon tank was installed. On both occasions, the work crews were efficient, fast and courteous. They spent as much time as I needed to explain the workings of the new energy efficient water heaters. Mario, Nathan and Sal were great to work with. In spite of the minor glitch, the experience was painless. I would recommend ANP without hesitation.

The entire experience was excellent from beginning to end. Gabrielle came over to do the initial estimate for the work. We knew immediately that we were in good hands by his knowledge and professionalism. Fernando and Orlando did the work, along with some other crew members. Again- great experience. Prompt, hard working, polite, left the area very clean. Their pricing was very fair (we shopped around!) We will hire them again to assist with our kitchen remodel.

Overall the service was very good and I am happy with the work completed so far.

Someone was scheduled to arrive between 2 - 4 PM and Wilber was there at 2:05 PM. He was courteous and made sure the job was done to our satisfaction. I will definitely use this company again and will be sure to ask for Wilber - you should too!

The person came in and checked out all the plumbing. She gave her estimates of what it would take to fix the problems.

The drain cleaning had to be handled long distance which presented some challenges, but the staff at Albert Nahman were most cooperative in meeting our schedule. They were always polite and helpful when we had to reschedule our appointment several times.

.After a couple of crossed wires the new items were ordered and installed. There was one small problem with the tank on one of the toilets but they came out with a new tank the next day and all is well

We were having a real sewage problem. The first guy came out and snaked everywhere he could. The problem continued. He suggested we re route part of sewer under the house. The next morning he had 2 other gentlemen with him. They spent about 45 minutes going under the house to decide the best solution for us without spending more than we needed. What I found unusual these did not look like your typical plumbers. These guys were very educated and very nice guys. The really took pride in what they did. They made an extra special effort to make sure they kept the house clean. They were just great guys who were so respectful of my family and my home. I will not use any other plumbers in the future. Yes I spent about $1450 dollars but it really was the first time I enjoyed spending the money. I really felt it was money well spent. I really can't say enough good things about these guys. One last point I'm a very tough customer and usually on the defense but did not at any point felt I needed to go there.

A few years ago our old water heater sprung an unfixable leak and we had it replaced. When that water heater was drained the amount of minerals and sand/stuff that came out was surprising to us. We vowed to have this done every fews years to keep our heater working well. Albert Nahman Plumbing was very responsive and came out as soon as we agreed on a date that worked. The tech was extremely friendly, professional, and got right to work. He finished quickly and didn't try any upselling or additional services at a cost. He did recommend that we call them for any other work to be performed which we will!

A year ago we bought a house with a gas water heater in the laundry room. Several months ago we began having problems with the pilot light randomly going out, so I called in a local plumber to look at it. That person didn't have an explanation for the problem other than that the water heater would probably need to be replaced soon. He did something that cost over $100, but it didn't fix the problem. I had another plumber in for an estimate on something else, so he looked at the water heater. He said the unit was fairly new, and thought the problem was lack of ventilation. He recommended leaving the door to the laundry room open while doing laundry to test his theory. Still the problem persisted, and began to get worse. I finally got smart and joined Angie's List, where we read about Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating. I wanted to get the problem fixed before we went on vacation a week later, so called to see what they could do. I had a specific date and time in mind, and they were able to accommodate me. They even told me about the $20 coupon on Angie's List. There's always a two-hour window, but the technician arrived only about 20 minutes into the two hours. Marlon was great from the start. He immediately told me the water heater was less than 3 years old, and did some preliminary checking to make sure enough gas was getting to the unit and that there was enough ventilation. Finding no obvious problems he thought perhaps there was a manufacturer's defect. He contacted the manufacturer and did more troubleshooting with them on the line. (In fact, when the manufacturer wanted us to register the unit, Marlon took care of that for us, with our permission, so we wouldn't have to interrupt our lunch.) The result was that there is a filter on the bottom of the unit that was choked with lint from the dryer. He said that will sometimes happen when a water heater is in the laundry room, but it usually takes five years. I explained that the dryer vent had come loose from the wall at some point, and it may have been spewing lint behind the dryer for a while before we noticed. He took the water heater apart to clean the filter, then put everything back in order before he left. At my request he demonstrated the proper way to light the pilot light, and even showed us that the newer models (such as this one) had the insulation inside and didn't need the exterior "blanket". Marlon was very professional, knowledgeable, and gracious, and from the start I felt confident that he would be able to solve the problem. He put on/took off booties to cover his shoes whenever he went out to his truck, which I appreciated since we have hardwood floors. I highly recommend Albert Nahman Plumbing.

I called for an estimate and Gabe came out the next day and explained the whole project walked me through how they would do it, etc etc.I received some other quotes but I went with Albert Nahman Plumbing because of the quality of the estimate and the fact that Gabe pointed out items that others did not. I actually had to put off the job for 2 months due to unforeseen circumstance, but when I emailed Gabe he responded right away, said the original quote was still good and that they could do the work in a week. Chris showed up right at 8:00 am, and Gabe was right behind and went over the job in detail. Chris was able to remove the 40 gallon water heater, and re-do the piping and clear every thing out in a matter of a few hours. At the same time he flushed my tankless water heater. He then completly took apart the tankless water heater and cleaned every single part by hand. I was impressed with the level of detail. After that Chris replaced the water filters on the main line, and by about 1:30 I had water running again in the house and it was working 100 times better than before. I was truly getting instant hot water in the kitchen, and the shower where as before this was not the case. It took close to a full 90 seconds to get hot water to the kitchen. The level of professionalism and care put into the job was not unnoticed, and I plan on using Albert Nahman Plumbing for all of my future needs.
