I have now had Smart House Cleaning come three times. I really want to give them an "A "because they work hard, and more importantly, I trust them. But I have to point out a few things that may seem like picky details, but cleaning is all about details, right? The first two times entailed an incident where the clock radio in the guest room was changed during dusting and the alarm blasted at 12:00 AM the next morning - twice. They fixed this the third time. I have had to point out a couple of things that never got dusted the first time, and although these are not highly visible, they do have a surface. Anything with a flat surface should be dusted.
There were also things like finding the waste basket from my home office in my bedroom - not a big deal alone, but there were several items that wound up in places that were wrong. On one hand, I get the fact that they move things to dust, which I like, but getting things back in the general vicinity of the original location is indicative of paying attention, and there seemed to have been some minor lapses there.
Two of the most annoying things were that after they cleaned the bathroom last week, the shower head was left pointing outward. So when yours truly turned it on the next morning, I received a faceful of shower spray that also went all over the place. The other thing was - and I hate to bring this up because they do show initiative in some ways - they emptied my shredder last week and correctly put the contents in the recycle bin. But they didn't bag it first, and when the trash pickup came today, I guess you can imagine the confetti I ended up with all over the front of my yard.
So I really do like and recommend Josue and Andrea, but I think the people they bring with them need to be a little more diligent about the details. Being in a small business (I am, too) is all about doing the best job you can do each and every time, and learning from the things that go wrong. I hope to be able to follow up this report with straight A's in the future.

"Dear Member, thank you so much for your report, but there are some facts that we do not agree with them 1. You live by Signal Hill, three blocks away from our house, we are neighbors. Our crew come to my house at 7:20 am to put together the material and equipment that will be needed during the day. We left our house by 7:45 am, and as I told you, you live three blocks away from our house, there is no possibility to be late your house was schedule for 8:00 to 8:30 am, we always have 1/2 hour between the time we set, because we do not know about the traffic or something, but if we left our house at 7:45 am it took to us like 5 minutes to get to your house because three blocks is not a long distance. We were on time it was our first house of the day. 2. I spoke with you about the price and we set it at $150.00, that's what I agree with you, if you gave tip to our ladies because of their good job, that is not included in the fee. I receive from you $150.00 no $185.00 as said. 3. My workers never broke your statue, we did not carrie glue with us, also we have special notes if an accident happen, and we give a phone call too, and we ask if there is any way to pay, replace of fix the problem, we appreciate the opportunity and the trust that the clients have with us when they let us to clean their houses, and a way to respect that is to be honest if the article damaged is inexpensive or not it doesn't matter to us, the most important thing is to let you know about the accident, because there are unexpensive articles that have a special value for you or means something to you, so we do not decide what has value or not everything that is in your house is very valuable to us, because are your things and you know why you have them with you, and you know the meaning or the value. This report wonders me, because after the house cleaning service, I spoke with you and you said that you were happy with our job and you agree once a month, and said to call you back later to set a day because you were busy. Around a month later we call you to set the day and you said that you were out of the town and you will call back. This surprise me because you never mentioned those problems or seem to be mad at us, for us communication is very important but you never said nothing about this. We clean your house July 26, 2011 at 8 am and you said you were happy with the service and we charge you $150.00 that's all that I know about you, so I am very sorry but for me there is nothing else to say, because it seems like confused. I feel very sad because you rate us as a "D" and as you can see we have 41 reports on total and most of them are "A"s we have a few "B"s and you rate us as a "D", but thats fine we are honest, responsibles and reliables and if and accident happen we let our clients know, we have the same honest employees and they understand the meaning of the word "trust". Our 90-year-old grandmother still lives alone in her house she has owned since it was built in the 1950s. She is starting to slow down and can't keep up with the housework the way she used to, and she recently fell ill and could not take care of herself. The cleaners were incredibly responsive to the issue, patient with our grandmother, and unfazed by the bodily fluid stains on the carpet and furniture.
On the day of the cleaning, a crew of 4 people arrived right on time and were able to finish the whole house in four and a half hours. We had expected the job to take a minimum of six, so that saved us time as well. Even our grandmother, who was skeptical that she needed her house cleaned at all was impressed and very pleased with the job they did and their price.

I waited to give my review to make sure the work is consistant.
The work has been excellent and consistant. Both Andrea and her husband are nice, professional people.
The price may seem high; but my home is very large (6 bath/ 7bed and 2 bonus).
Smarthouse is my replacement for a fulltime housekeeper that had been with me for 13 years, so you know that this price is good.
Again, please note I use them every week, and plan on continuing to do so.
I would HIGHLY recommend them.
Those in high end homes need not worry they ask questions and take excellent care of your marble, granite and wood speciality floors.

I asked them to pay particular attention to walls and corners because my dog gets them dirty when she walks by corners and it
the places where she sleeps. I had a tough stain on my granite bathroom sink and they got that out. The kitchen sink is nice and shiny.
