One of their employees broke an expensive item in my home. Their web site claims they are bonded and insured but this is not true. I recommend avoiding this bunch. They are careless and are not truthful. They have now ghosted me.

it was good. They were on time and did a good job. The only problem was getting a receipt.

This was my first time hiring from outside. I am glad to have trusted Angie's List. I wanted to help my parents to get their house cleaned specially their restroom, bathroom and living room. They came in, worked their magic and left my parents much more than I expected. Definitely, will rehire them for my parents routinely and my house. Thank you so much.

The two cleaners were excellent! The apartment smells and looks very clean! The bathroom happily is now all cleaned up and looks beautiful. The bedroom, living room and kitchen areas are spotless! Overall, we are very happy with the cleaning provided!

I needed a last minute bathroom cleaning following emergency plumbing work at rental property. SHC was there in 2.5 hours. Yes, it was expensive for one smallish bathroom and yes they were 20 minutes late but they still showed up and did a quality cleaning with zero advanced notice. Impressive.

I use Smart House Cleaning to clean both my house, my office and my aunt’s house. They are spectacular. In fact, they clean more thoroughly and deeply than what was expected. I have used them for a while and the quality of their services continues to go up. Each time the clean, it seems as if they attend to some new small detail. It was excellent. They were fabulous. It was my brother's home where they lived.

I wanted to give them 2.5 starts but I could only give 2 or 3. I have used this cleaning service for approximately 5 years. They were wonderful for most of this time. However recently I have noticed that they were using items in my home to assist them with their cleaning, going into my closet to find and use items such as my vacuum cleaner and step stools. This would not be a problem if I had been notified of this by them. I had been told that they would provide all of the cleaning products and materials. I turned a blind eye to this for a long time until one day I returned home to find my vacuum cleaner just thrown back into the closet without having the cord replaced properly. Then following my complaint about this there have been two times in the last two months where, after 5 years, they have simply forgotten to put me on the schedule. I have pets which I confine for the day so that they can come in and clean without having to worry about the animals. It is quite an effort to do this and if they don't show up, my pets are confined in one room together for no good reason. The first time that I was left off of the schedule there was no explanation. The second time I was told that they had "lost" all of their "things". Their phone was lost, and purse and the list went on. I was surprised that one would run a business this way. Without backups of their planning and customer information? Really? I am often out of my house for long hours so I didn't become aware that they had not come to clean my home until I arrived home at 10pm. I phoned them at this time to ask why they had not cleaned my home again and I was given the excuse of the lost phone. Honestly if they had decided that they did not want to clean my house any longer, they could have just expressed that fact to me. I did express this to them and they said that they did want to continue to clean my house but when I said that I think that we would part ways now, they just accepted my decision to do so as if this was the intention all along. I am very hurt and upset by the lack of professionalism that they showed me. I would not recommend them at this point to anyone. It makes me sad. I just wish they had been straight forward and honest with me. I shouldn't have to call them every day that I am to be scheduled for a cleaning to verify that my cleaning will occur. Beware! Something has happend to Smart House Cleaning. What was once a great cleaning company with great customer service is now not a cleaning service that I will use.

Things were a disaster. Two women showed up and worked continuously for two hours. They worked constantly for the entire time. I have already scheduled a second visit.

From the beginning the cleaners at Smart House Cleaning have been responsive, hard working, and do a great job. We know certain members of the team and the company is very good about keeping the regular people as the ones to clean our house, which we appreciate. We have no concerns with security and the work is consistently excellent, it is wonderful to come home to clean floors, dishes, surfaces, rooms, and with everything organized. They are very responsive any time we need to reschedule, and often do extra things we don't expect or ask for (like organize a bureau). I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a dependable, high quality, affordable service. We also occasionally purchase extra services such as a refrigerator cleaning and they have always done a wonderful job. The owners are also extremely nice and professional people.

We have used Smart House Cleaning several times on an occasional request. Each time they have responded promptly and have done an excellent job. Today Marta and Lupe worked efficiently and professionally. The house, and every corner in it, is spotless. I am disappointed to see the negative reviews, but our experience has always been positive.

I usually hate leaving negative reviews, and I've been refraining myself from writing one even though I noticed really soon after they left how terrible their cleaning service was. But every day, I found more and more negative things that I feel like I have to write one to make sure they'd do a better job in the future. Josue and 2 other people came to clean my house. They left after 4 hours, cleaning a house that was pretty much empty since we just moved in and hadn't brought our stuff in. This means they didn't have to do any furniture moving and all the floors and cabinets were easily accessible for cleaning (I was hoping to give them more cleaning time so I get my clean house). During the initial walk through for estimate, I specifically said I wanted my baseboards and kitchen cabinets cleaned. But nope! They were still dirty. And I'm not talking about dirtiness that requires heavy duty cleaning. I was able to take a single Clorox wipe, run it over the baseboards in one room and it turned black from all the dust. Cabinets did require more scrubbing, but it was really doable (since I ended up doing it myself). Their floor cleaning was also terrible. After they left, some part of my hardwood floor was really wet, so I just wanted to dry it a little bit. I took some paper towel, and started wiping my floor off. To my surprise, they turned black almost instantly, when my floor wasn't that dirty to begin with! Regarding the carpet cleaning. I was initially going to use a separate professional carpet cleaner, but they assured me they can do my carpets professionally too. So I let them charge me $120 for that. In the end, I found a lot of hair that didn't get vacuumed properly and just got pushed to the edges. I let my iRobot Roomba ran in one room a few days after cleaning (this room was still empty and unused by then), and it seemed to pick up some small dirt/debris as well. So I honestly have no idea how clean my carpet truly was after they cleaned it. The only good review I can give them is how well they tried to accommodate me. I kept flip flopping and changing my service date, but they were still able to schedule me in and come on time. I also didn't find any issues with their windows cleaning. But let's just say, I ended up having to do the work that I was hoping to avoid by hiring them. And I feel like I just wasted $400 for nothing. I was actually hoping to use them for my regular house cleaning. Sigh.. looks like it's time to hunt for other cleaners..

The house cleaning was extremely poor. Not only were area's poorly cleaned but other areas were ignored altogether. They charged $230 and I would have been disappointed even if they charged only $50. We renovated our house just in the last few months so the toilets are basically about brand new as with other areas of the house. No calcium build up, etc so when they were still showing rings I knew how bad the cleaning was before even inspecting the rest of the house. The floors/carpet were either barely touched or not touched at all. The house was basically given a very light once over with no scrubbing whatsoever. I have no idea how this company got any good reviews, the only thing I can think of is that if you're house is barely dirty, you wouldn't notice how bad the cleaning is. I have many detailed pics but not sure how to attach them to this review.

They did a fantastic job overall. Most impressed with a nasty stain they were able to remove from the master shower. Also moved all furniture out of the way to clean.

I expected a cleaning crew, but only 2 people arrived - a man and a woman. The woman could not speak English. I am fluent in Spanish, and I explained what I wanted done with the house and I had to run an errand and came back. In two hours they had only done two rooms. He told me he would be done by noon. The house was practically empty since I am preparing it to move. They said at 1:00 that they were finished but they had not done a thorough job. I told him that they had not done $300 worth of work and that I felt the job was only worth $150. The man called his wife, the owner (Andrea) and she showed up and they would not leave until I paid the them full amount. She said she dialed the police and I asked to see her phone and she started screaming to the police on the phone that I was hurting her. I paid them the balance and asked them to leave immediately. She did NOTHING to try to do anything to make the job right. The people were very, very slow and the job was not completed.
