+ -1 moreI contacted All Service Moving on a friend-of-a-friend recommendation. The scheduled time for them to come and move was at 9am and they actually gave me a courtesy-call saying they had hit traffic, and were going to be 10 minutes late -- so they arrived at 9:10am, (I really wouldn't even have noticed!). They moved 12-15 pieces of furniture, some of which were quite heavy and carefully packed them up into there truck. There was no time that I had any worry about the pieces, since they were extremely careful and meticulous. The move went without a hitch. I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone contemplating a move. (Nick & Johnny were the guys who moved me.)

+ -1 moreThey were very frendly and professional though they arrived about 20 minutes late. Then at the end of the day when they had expected to be completed they did not complete the work and left. The did not return the following morning, rather they moved on to another job before coming back a day later to work on finishing. Some of our cubicles were not properly reassembled once they were move, though we did not notice for several weeks. Update (March 2014) After the original review the company came back and finished the work that was originally left undone. This was done at their expense and the work was completed quickly. With many apologies they were willing do what was needed to make it right.

+ -1 moreTony and Charles made 2 separate trips from a condo at the bottom of a curved hill to 2 homes 8-10 miles away during a snowstorm. They carried, among other items, 26 incredibly heavy outdoor potted plants, the heaviest of which weighed more than 400 pounds! They did this with smiles on their faces and laughter and even offered to return in the spring to place the plants in more appropriate locations. This offer was unsolicited and came with only one caveat: no rain! (but I suspect they wouldn't hold me to it) This is the 2nd time I've had Tony move items for me and he and his partner(s) are the best. I will NEVER use any other movers again.
Description of Work: moved 26 outdoor potted plants, some weighing as much as 400 pounds, and other items IN THE SNOW!!!!

Nothing was broken, scratched or damaged at either my new home or old home. They placed the furniture exactly where I had put the signage for it in the new house. Overall a fabulous job and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Charles and Johnny, the movers that day, were incredibly friendly, strong, quick, and smart -- they were really creative in their approach to our move, and proactive about coming up with solutions for potential barriers (such as tough parking on a small street on top of a hill...). Additionally, my husband and I ran out of boxes to pack with. I contacted All Service Moving *the morning of the move* to ask if they could add on packing to our service (orginally we'd just expected to move already-packed boxes), and the owner immediately accommodated that request in a highly professional manner. I honestly couldn't imagine a better moving experience. It was flawless.

+ -1 moreWe cannot lift heavy items anymore so called All Service Moving and they said they would move furniture from room to room. They came and got right to work. Joe and Nick took one big bookcase and filing cabinet downstairs. Then they took books off two other book cases, moved dresser into bedroom, took two book cases into other room, put books back into book cases. Then they moved the desk to other side of the room. They were so quick, careful with our furniture, and patient with me as I kept asking them to wait while I checked out positions of furniture moved. We would definitely call on them again for moving help. They were professional, quick, careful, patient, and really nice.

Description of Work: I had 2 men and a truck. They called when leaving their shop, and arrived within 5 minutes of the scheduled time. They had four different locations to pick up and drop off furniture. It was a drizzly day, and they wrapped everything. The entire move was furniture, and they respected the antiques, took apart large pieces to move more efficiently, removed one piece secured to a wall, and set things back up at their destination. After the last stop, at a shop downtown, they called and said there were several small pieces of shelf bracing left in their truck. While I told them that I would pick them up at their shop the next day, they had a truck deliver those small pieces - which would have fit in a sandwich bag - to my house first thing the following morning. This last little detail certainly put them over and above on service.
