I have utilized All Service Moving for moving from Nampa, Idaho to Hillsboro, OR. The movers that came in to our apartment in Idaho were courteous, professional, and careful. Our high value items were carefully wrapped with plenty of padding and the size of the truck that came in was just the right size to have everything fit nicely without having to place items in unnatural and undesirable orientations. All of the items within the truck were directly sent to All Service Moving's storage facility in Portland, OR where they stayed until the move to Hillsboro, OR. We made one scheduled visit to the storage facility and it seemed like the 15 x 15 unit that was utilized was a little small to house everything properly and certain items appeared to be haphazardly placed. Regardless, nothing appeared to be damaged, even though it was difficult to visually inspect all items as everything was very tightly packed and navigating to the back of the storage unit necessitated the removal of all the items at the front. The move from the storage facility in Portland, OR to the Hillsboro, OR destination did not go as smoothly. Even though I had stated that the move to Hillsboro would encompass the same items that were in the truck that got moved from Idaho, for some reason a smaller truck was sent and the items barely fit this time around, requiring some re-arranging of items. The movers did appear efficient but the way some of the items ended up getting placed in the truck did not seem ideal. When the unloading started to take place from the truck into the destination property, the movers suggested that we place all the boxes and bags into the garage and that we could sort them out later. This was fine as we didn't know at the time where everything would go so we agreed. While the movers initially started putting boxes in the garage in a methodical manner, the final result was a total mess of haphazardly placed boxes and bags that created a giant mess. One box of CD/DVDs ended up upside down and with no tape which resulted in the items being spilled all over the place. The entertainment center was put on its side and packed with various sorts of heavy items on top of it (fortunately no damage came to the entertainment center - partly because of its durability). Some plastic containers with drawers had come apart and other boxes were placed on top of them. In the end, the garage looked like someone had randomly thrown boxes and bags all over the place. None of the above really made us upset but here comes the part about the damages. For starters, our favorite stand up lamp had its lamp shade shattered. Then several mugs and bowls were chipped and broken. However, the part that made me livid is that I noticed what appears to be a cigarette burn that left a decent sized hole on the back of our brand new $2000 couch. This couch has a very hard material and it's extremely difficult to scratch it (we specifically picked it because we didn't want our cats to scratch it and we were able to use a pocket knife on a demo unit at the store we bought it to test its durability. While I am not sure how the movers damaged the couch, the size, shape and the look of the hole makes me think that some was smoking around the couch and accidentally touched the couch with a cigarette and didn't bother to make a note of it. The ironic part with the move from the storage facility to the destination address is that the main mover that moved our items told us that the items were not placed into storage carefully and that it looked like whoever did the job was inexperienced (he specifically stated that heaver items should have been in the back of the storage unit with lighter items in the front) but the way he placed the items in our garage was far worse. He also boasted a decent bit. If it wasn't for the big hole on the back of our expensive new couch, I may have potentially given the company between 3 and 4 stars. The experience moving from Idaho to the storage facility in Portland was quite good and service was very professional. Moving from the storage facility to Hillsboro on the other hand was a very different experience. Since my review above, All Service Moving taken responsibility for the damage to my couch and has ordered fabric to re-upholster it. The material has been ordered through the company I have purchased the couch from as it wasn't available from any other retailer. There is a long delay in getting the fabric as it's coming by ship and even though this is not the fault of All Service Moving, the company still decided to compensate me for my patience in waiting to get the couch re-upholstered. In addition to getting the damage to the couch remedied, All Service Moving has also taken steps in regards to the moving crew that I dealt with on my move to Hillsboro (the crew that was used for moving out of Idaho was great). All in all, All Service Moving appears to be a company that really does care about its customers.

From my very first phone call, I knew All Service Moving was going to be great. Kaylani (sp?) was professional, knowledgeable and very personable. She answered my questions and gave me all the information I needed. Emily was equally great when I called back to schedule. Then, when there complications from our new home end of things, my need to reschedule was handled easily. Moving day itself was made so much less stressful with the capable presence of Ryan "RJ" and Corey. These two are a great team. All our worldly possessions were handily moved on an extremely hot day efficiently and with great care. My husband and I could not be more pleased about our experience with All Service Moving. Kyle & Gabriel did a fantastic job. They were quick and efficient. I will definitely be asking for their help again when we move our furniture back in the near future.

The 5 movers & 2 trucks arrived at our house on time. They were very personable & professional. They took care of everything in our house and moved it all carefully. They asked where we wanted everything on the new house and did it all in a timely matter.
