All Service Moving

I am pleased to review “All Service Movers” from Portland, OR for Angie’s List readers. My daughter called a number of moving companies to arrange a move from the West Hills area to the SE Hawthorne area. Her work schedule left little free time to plan too far ahead, and after attempting to contact several moving companies, All Service Movers was the only company who responded to her call on a weekend, and she was thrilled to arrange a move date with them two days later. David and Rico arrived on time with a large truck along with all necessary moving equipment and moved the entire contents of her two bedroom apartment (which included a full-size washer and dryer) up a long, steep flight of stairs. They never batted an eye about all the stairs!! The destination was, unfortunately for David and Rico, a basement apartment of a lovely old home in the Hawthorne area. They had to maneuver all the boxes and furniture down another flight of stairs into the basement. There was a tense moment when the queen box spring looked like it just would not make the last turn, but David and Rico skillfully and successfully coaxed it in. They were professional, pleasant, courteous and prompt in carrying out their work. All of my daughter’s possessions were delivered intact without any damage. Moving is never fun, but they made an unpleasant situation more than tolerable. I am pleased to recommend them to all without hesitation!!

Great. They do a great job. Very attentive. Spent time doing due diligence for the move and did excellent planning and execution of a complicated antique.

They were very professional, on time, and finished early. Did a lot more than I thought they would.

Matt and Andrew came a little early, were courteous and hard working. They accomodated small changes we made once they were on site. Very professional and helpful. Exactly what we needed as we had health issues that precluded us from carrying anything. Also, we used the $30 coupon which helped lower the cost.

They were able to come earlier than anticipated. They were polite and efficient. They moved everything needed. The price was slightly higher, but it was worth it for the full service with truck (and dolly, and blankets ...).

they were awesome! Called when they were on their way, showed up on time, were very pleasant and upbeat, got right to work and loaded all of our very heavy furniture into the Uhaul. I really appreciated how careful they were to wrap and use furniture pads. We didn't get one scratch on anything. They also hustled the whole time, you definetly feel like you are getting your money's worth. I was so impressed by their level of service and how efficiently they were able to move our entire house (5 hours) that I have already hired them for another job. In the past we moved 5 times and never hired a moving company. I will never again move without hiring them.

They did a great job and packed very well to protect my stuff.

The two young guys showed up early but called first to ask permission. They hit the ground running and worked eight hours straight without taking even one break! Both were very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this crew to anyone planning a move.

Movers arrived on time and were a pleasure to work with. Very professional, polite, and delivered excellent service. Everything was prepacked by myself but the movers arranged everything to ensure as quick and efficient move as possible. Drive over to new residence was fast and unloading was careful, and the whole job was done in just a couple of hours. Excellent two men and a van!

The two guys from All Service Moving were on time and they were very hard working. They helped with everything and did a lot of extra work. They made it happen as quickly as possible.

They brought the right equipment for the job and made the move look easy. They charged $60 an hour and I had an Angie's List coupon for $30, which they honored. I would definitely hire them again. They were very professional and knew how to do their job.

We called on short notice ( 2 days) and All Service Moving was very responsive. The move went exactly as planned and the price was exactly what they quoted me over the phone. The movers were professional and careful with the furniture and goods. I have hired a lot of professional movers and would not hesitate to rehire All Service Moving.

They showed up on time and were very careful. Very pleased with the work they did and when they ran into some unforseen difficulties they were very good at keeping me posted on what was happening and were very conscientious in resolving the situation.

Not that moving could ever be a pleasure, but Casey and Dave from All-Service Moving made it much less stressful than usual. They were on-time, they were quick, and they treated my belongings with much more care than they really needed. I would recommend them to my friends and I would gladly use them again.

All Service Movers were very clear about costs and services included when I called to make arrangements for the move. We chose their flat price for our move to Bend. They also offer an Angie's list discount. They were helpful in offering tips on packing (we did our own) and where to get the best price on boxes and which boxes worked best for electronics, etc. The day of the move they called to let us know they were running about 15 minutes late due to traffic. Upon arrival they went over the logistics of the day once again. The movers were polite and very careful. One group was responsible for loading the truck in Portland and a different group met us in Bend to do the unloading. Nothing was damaged: everything went exactly as planned. Moving is exhausting but All Service Movers made it as painless as possible.

Our move went extremely well; both workers were polite, careful, and very quick. The pricing was more then fair. I honestly couldn't believe the value. I gave the company two weeks notice and they were able to accomodate both my desired day and time for the move. Great work all!

I was moving my 86 year old mother from foster care to assisted living. She had belongings in 3 locations around Portland. I met the movers at the first location, then the second, then my mom's foster care home. The movers were very respectful of the residents in the foster home, and as quiet as possible to reduce their impact on residents.Once all my mom's belongings were gathered in the truck they delivered them to her new apartment in assisted living. They helped us arrange and re-arrange furniture a couple of times, and were friendly, helpful and professional from start to finish. They had our move completed in 3.5 hours, which was amazing to me! I would hire them again in a heart beat.

My husband and I knew that there was no way we could move "the hulk" downstairs by ourselves. We found All Service Moving on Angie's List. When I called, the owner was very pleasant and assured me that it would be a simple job. He also was able to book the service for the next day. On the day of service,Dan and Matt called to see if it would be ok to come ahead of schedule, which worked well for me. They arrived exactly when they said they would, and the job was done in less than 15 minutes. Efficient, friendly, and professional. We will use their services again, and will recommend them to others.
