I am so thrilled with the end result of my front yard and flowerbeds. The entire experience has been so pleasant,beginning with meeting Chris and ending with his hardworking, pleasant crew. I would not hesitate to recommend Stockdale/Landscape & concrete if you're looking to hire the best.

HA was a GO TO service finding professional contractors when I lived on the east coast. I almost gave up on HA, Google search and finding a professional who can actually provide xeriscape landscaping. I interviewed 5 contractors on HA who advertised "Landscape and Yard Maintenance" in their Company name but only cut lawns. All of 6 said they could do xeriscape work. They walked my property, estimated and said they would give me and estimated within 2 days. I never heard back from 4 them. I left messages and never heard back from them, no return calls. When I met Chris, he was professional from the start to the finish of his contract. Chris and his team of Landscapers walked the talked, and added a personal touch treating their work as if the job was on their own property, something I have not experienced with Bakersfield contractors. I wish Chris would add property yard maintenance to his services. I would recommend Chris' services, a 5 star contractor.

Very professional. The crew showed up as promised and went above and beyond. I will be using this company again for landscaping my front and back. The customer service is great.

Chris came out and addressed our issue immediately. He is very professional and personable. The team that worked on our problem were polite and thorough. I would hire them again without question.

Chris try a few different sprinkler head until he found the right for coverage in the yard.

I had an extremely poor experience. We had to call them out multiple times after an extremely unprofessional install. As you can see below, the owner is trying to talk his way around it, but expected to be paid in full for work that he did not complete, or work that was found to be of sub-par craftsmanship after Chris claimed the project was complete. He complained about it every step of the way. They made a mess of my yard, sidewalk, and pool deck--left dirt piled everywhere and me to clean it up. He tried to bill me for work he did not complete because he underbid the contract and didn't want to lose any more money than he already had. The entire episode is basically me coming to the realization that Chris and his team cut corners to avoid having to professionally deal with his numerous and ongoing mistakes. We now have to take him to court for taking money for a job that was not completed--the full removal of the old sprinkler system, which Chris insisted was necessary for the install of the new system. There are still exposed cables running everywhere and dead sprinkler heads from the old system all over the yard. The compliments he's mentioning were early on, and from a cursory glance. The longer the job went on, the fewer the compliments became, until finally all goodwill was expired and I had to threaten them with legal action to get anything done. The many trips he's referencing below are for all of the repairs to the system he installed, or the damage that was done to my property. We paid them for additional work, including concrete work, which I highly recommend you don't use them for--the entire project had to be ripped out and redone. The gate installation was apparently, at least according to his foreman, completed by an unlicensed contractor. There were several holes left in the wall of my home from the gate installation and the old sprinkler box removal. Chris initially came out w/ some time of bonding agent instead of stucco, and I had to make them come out and redo that job. They destroyed several of my plants during the installation and removal process, and I had to make them come out and fully remove those as well. Chris even screwed up buying us fake rocks. He didn't measure the stations he was trying to cover, so the rocks did not fit. He offered to go get different ones. We told him not even to bother. Additionally, there was the matter of some concrete work that he said needed to be done on the driveway, which they didn't do, but he still tried to bill me for. I highly recommend against using this company for any of your home or commercial construction projects.

Stockdale landscape came out to do a simple repair which turned into a horrific problem. Chris was on top of it and got it fixed. I would hire him again.

Stockdale Landscape did an awesome job with our backyard landscape. They took a blank slate and gave us ideas and were very helpful. We are super happy with the outcome and we're using the new yard and patio a lot.

My sprinkler box was showing an error and my sprinklers wouldnâ t turn on. They came out the same day and reset my control box. No charge!!! I will definitely use them if something comes up again.
