price of service was extremely high for what was done. the plumber spent about 15 minutes on a brief exam of some connections.he did not perform any other services but was ready to recommend a $ 4000.00 job of replacing pipes and replacing water heater for $ 800.00. he stated that their prices were high but worth it. This place is a total. rip-off. I would never call this plumber ever again!!!

They were wonderful. They were efficient, polite, friendly and left a clean area. I would recommend them to anybody.

The service tech arrived promplty with in the hour window given when we called. He assessed the situation quickly and got to work. He was very careful to remove his boots before walking on the carpet and was extremely polite and well mannered. He snaked the main sewer line, showed us the root mass that was causing the clog and checked both bathrooms to make sure the issue had been resolved. He cleaned up after himself, explained the charges and we paid him. The entire job took less than half an hour. The cost was very reasonable.

The cold water line to the water heater split last night so I turned off the water until this morning. I called one place at 7:00 a.m. and left a message but when they didn"t call back before 7:30 (still haven"t called back by the way), I called Plumbing Doc. After explaining the situation, the fella told me he would have someone out here by 8:30 and sure enough, they were here exactly at 8:30. The two guys doing the job were very polite, knowledgable, and took care of the job in 20 minutes. The one technician explained that he was replacing the two copper lines with stainless steel lines so I would never have this problem again. He also explained the proper and safe settings the water heater should be at. All in all, an outstanding company to work with and I will definitely use the in the future and highly recommend them to others!

I called Plumbing Doc at 11 am to fix a terrible leak. All the other plumbers I called couldn't come over until the next day, and they wanted $45 just to walk in the door. Plumbing Doc was at my house by 11:30 am with a free estimate. He left to go get a part, was back within 20 minutes. The pipe was fixed in less than 30 minutes. Very clean job. No complaints. I would highly recommend Plumbing Doc to any of my friends and family.

Very well. Technicians arrived within 1 and a half hours. I had drain unassembled when they arrived. When they left they put it back together. I appreciated that. They also ran the washer to make sure the water was draining properly.

Most professional, bonded and licensed plumbers cost a lot more than Plumbing Doc just to walk in the door. That was impressive to start. One of their staff, Mike, showed up exactly on time. My initial request for one thing quickly turned into three things. My initial call was to replace our main water supply gate valve that wasn't closing all the way. I ask him to replace that valve with a ball valve. While he was there, I noticed my garden tap was leaking and that would also need replacing. Also, I asked if he could install another ball valve for our landscaping line. Mike said yes to all, so my one hour job turned into two. Just as the price per hour clock was winding down, I asked if he could replace the toilet cut off I had to replace. I had already bought the parts and that was my next DIY project, but why not use a professional with a lot more arm strength than I do? It took him 5 minutes. I'm a happy person. I will definitely call them for a few more projects around the house. My only complaint is that I didn't get a better breakdown of labor and parts on their invoice.

They came in and found the leek, repaired it and was out in about one hour.

They were 15 minutes late to the initial appointment for an estimate. They were supposed to be at my house to complete the work the next day at noon. I was contacted at 12:17 and told they would be here at 1 PM. Because I had to go back to work, I rescheduled for 3:30. I ended up having to reschedule the latter appointment until 8/14/13 at 4 PM. Company did not show up and/or call.

We had a handle break off in our shower. The cartridge had snapped off and we could not shut off the water at the shower, so I turned it off at the main. I called the Plumbing Doctor at 7 am the next morning and the tech was at my house in 35-45 minutes. He diagnosed the problem as soon as he saw it. He did not have the correct cartridge on his truck, so he said he had to get one. I asked how much to complete the job and he gave me a quote of $131, including my Angie's List discount. I thought that was a bit high, but I went with it anyway. He returned with the part in about 30 minutes and started to work on getting the old cartridge out. He had to use a butane torch to try to get the old one out. He went to his truck to get a pair of pliers, returned and said he had to go buy the correct one, as it was not on the truck. He said if that didn't work he would have to cut into the wall and replace the whole valve. He returned in about 20 minutes and started to work on it again. He finally got it out and fixed the problem. From start to finish it took about one hour and 45 minutes. After the plumber left I took a shower and the water pressure was very low. I attributed that to my sprinklers going off at the same time. This happened for two days and today I found out the pressure was low coming out of the shower head. I called the tech back out and he arrived within an hour. He "fixed" the problem and left. He removed the pressure restricter in the head of the shower and now the pressure is too high. I called Moen to see if there was any way for me to fix and the rep tried to talk me through removing the shower head to see if I could put the restricter back in, but the head was pipe taped on there and she said even if I did get it off the part was fixed in the unit. She said I should call the plumber back to either fix it, or get the head replaced. I called the Plumbing Doctor back to see what they could do and the lady called the plumber to see what he said. He said I would need a new shower head. I called Moen and they were nice enough to send me a new shower head for a minimal processing fee. After getting told by the lady who anwsered phones at the Plumbing Doctor that the plumber wanted to charge me $85 to put the new head in, I called Rick, (the owner), and he has agreed to waive the fee when I get the new part. I would like to highly recommend this company, as they will stand by their quote and work.

They called to ask if they could arrive 90 minutes before promised. Of course we agreed. Their technician found the leak which was caused by a 10 year old flex pipe which had failed some time over the last 2 weeks while we were on vacation. They found the problem, fixed it and cleaned up after the fix. I will definitively call them for the next plumbing issue.

I called at 9.00 am and Plumbing Doc had Chris at my house by 11.00-laundry room drain cleaning job took 20 minutes and was accomplished quick and easy. Punctual, professional, fast and friendly along with good advice for future maitenance. Thumbs up.

This project was done on two steps. The first by Chis and the second by Brian. They did an excellent job. I would recommend them highly. They gave me a jobquote on site which was the lowest of four quotes by about 30%.

On Tuesday, May 29, I went into my garage and noticed that my water heater was leaking. I turned the water valve at the top of the unit off and realized that it was still leaking. I turned the main water valve to the home off and my water heating was still leaking! I went on Angies List and made several calls. The women who answered the phone for The Plumbing Doc was very professional and gave me a great price and, more importantly, realized the urgency of my situation. She was able to send someone to my home within 45 minutes of my call. All in all, her responsiveness to my "hassle" and "emergency" goes a long way with me!

We had a renter who is also a handyman call with a stubborn clog he couldn't access, and the plumbing doc promptly came and got the job done!

It went well and I would contact them again.

Plumbing Doc responded very quickly and resolved my problem in very short order. I will use Plumbing Doc, if needed, in the future.

It went fine. They came right away. They were here within a short time after I called. It was an emergency situation on a Saturday, and they were pretty responsive. Overall, I was satisfied with the work that he did and the advice he gave me about other problems I was having. The work was fine. It actually wasn't a complete repair because I couldn't afford it at the time. I had some other things going on. The repair was fine, and it held for the length of time that I needed it to. It was an emergency repair to stop the leak for the time. The work was good. The price was a lot, considering what was done. However, it might be on par with other businesses; I have no comparison.

Fast and efficiently . Very satisfied with the service.

This is the second time I have used this company and both times they did an excellent job. They actually quote over the phone and deliver as promised. I have not had to use them for a major plumbing problem, other than clogged drains, but they would be the first one I call.
