I heard a loud noise and didn't know what it was until I tried to open my garage door. The spring had broken and I couldn't get the door open. I called King Door and there was someone available two hours from my call. They fixed it within a 1/2 hour and even cleaned it up a bit. Quick, easy and done...that's what I like!

I had a completed job within 48 hours of calling. Excellent service.

I called at 8:15 a.m.. The garage door was stuck open. The sevice man arrived by 9:30 as promised. The office called before he left the shop to let me know he was on his way. He was very professional and friendly. He knew immediately what was wrong and told me how much it would cost to fix it. Sensors were installed in a matter of minutes. He then performed a service maintenance on the tracts, etc. I had a key pad that I didn't have the combination to and had asked another door company if they could make it work. They said they couldn't, if I didn't have a special key for it. He said that it was no problem, went to his truck and got a key and instructions for the model I had and proceeded to put in a new combination. Everything was completed in less than an hour. I will call them if I need service again.

My garage door came off the track and would not close. I had to find someone that day and called different companies. King door was the only one who could come out immediately since I didn't want to leave the door open overnight. I had used them once previously about a year ago for a similar situation, but all the technician did was after repairing the door, lubricated all the bearing, parts, etc. He was there maybe 10 minutes and still charged the minimum of approx.$104 at that time. So this time I was a little leery since it was now $124 and I wondered why King door always is not busy and can come out immediately while the other companies are booked up. To my pleasant surprise, a young man named Clayton came out and was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He took at least 40 min or more to repair the garage and also move the track since the door was rubbing against the side upon opening and closing. After he finished, the door was so smooth and quiet and I couldn't believe all this time I didn't know how a garage door should sound. The door is 90 percent better and catches a little still, but is so much more quiet. I just hope Clayton stays with King door and if ever we have another problem, I can ask for him. It's funny how King door has a policy that if it's concerning the same repair, the same technician cannot come out. I was pretty satisfied, but a few days later I thought maybe the door could be tweaked a little more. I wanted Clayton to come out again, but they would not let me get the same technician. I can't remember the other tech's name, but he had been a long time employee and he looked at it and adjusted it slightly and we left it at that.

They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. They worked quickly and neatly. I would use them again and recommend them others.

I was able to get same-day service. The service personnel showed up within an hour or so after I called the company for service. Considering this was a Saturday morning, I was very pleased. He changed out short screws for long screws. Was able to fix the door and straighten the rail. The work was performed in less than an hour and looks better than could be expected. I am very well-pleased with the service I received. I felt that the price was reasonable.

Very pleasant service personnel for both estimate and repair. Work was done at my home and was done quickly and well.

My garage door would not open. King Door found a loose connection and also greased the track. Garage door opens every time now. Will call them again if needed in the future.

I originally called on 7/1 to set up appt for 7/5. Was called back on 7/3 and told service tech would be here between 10-1. Arrived sharply at 10:00 and was done by 10:45. Chain was slipping on garage door and was given the choice to replace gear and sprocket for $181 or whole garage door opener for $355.00. Chose gear and sprocket. Completely done in 45 minutes. Very pleased with them.

They did fine, there were just a little bit expensive. They were pleasant. They came out when they said they would. They fixed the problem that I had and that was about it. I haven't had an issue with them.

From the intitial contact to the finish of the work King Door was very polite, courteous and professional. The installer (Gustavo) went to work immediately upon his arrival and had all of the work completed within an hour. Also from the time my wife called until the work was completed was within 3 hours. Hows that for service. Just for the record Gustavo is a very good representative of this company.

They were able to come out the same day. It was a very pleasant experience. He got here very quick from the time we called and he did it very quick.

Avoid King Door unless you want a miserable experience. Their customer service rating would be represented by a negative number. I ordered two garage doors from King Door, and what an experience. They came to my house scoped out and measured the job. The next day they called me with a final price of which I agreed too. We scheduled the installation for three weeks out as we were moving into the house. I scheduled that day off at work and had to pay someone to work my shift. The day before installation, King Door contacted me and informed me that their guys would be loading the truck at 8AM the next morning and heading my way.. should be there by 9:30. I live one hour from their facility. As everyone knows, when you move everything gets piled in the garage and then sorted through. We’re no different. So that morning I called King Door to make sure everything was still on schedule. I was informed that their guy (now singular) was going to make a QUICK service stop on his way. I proceeded to move everything out of the garage, took me about an hour and a half. Then the wait began. Their guy shows up at 1PM; the same guy that scoped out and measured thejob. Why you send one guy to install two garage doors and openers is beyond my comprehension. When I inquired as to his being alone, he told me that King Door always only sends one guy to jobs that are that far out. He proceeds to unloads some of his tools and then calls, I assume, his boss and informs him that it was going to be a six hour job. A few minutes later, the guy informs us that they would have to reschedule and come back and do the installation some other day. Here I sit with my truck and driveway full of stuff from the garage. Needless to say I was a little hot under the collar. I called King Door to get firsthand what the problem was. I was informed that there was nothing that could be done and it would have to be rescheduled. It was later explained to me that they (King Door) needed to get the truck back and load it for another job. I guess my jobwasn’t important as others. That’s what I get for paying in full in advance. I told King Door that if this was an example of their customer service that I just wanted my money back and I’d go elsewhere. The next morning I called and explained that I wasn’t as p***** as I was the day before and asked if they wanted to keep my business. They said yes and I said “what are you willing to do to keep it”. I was told that they would have to talk to the owner and would call me the next morning. Needless to say, the next morning comes and goes … no phone call. I call a little after noon and get this “OK, let’s get the installation scheduled.” When I inquired as to what the owner said, I was told that the price was the price and that there was nothing they could do. I informed them that I would be coming down to get my money back and go elsewhere.The biggest shock was their attitude “the price is the price”. I never asked for a price reduction. I would have been more than happy with the response “how about an extra remote, how about an exterior keypad or we’ll send two guys next time and, if necessary, they’ll help you move the stuff back out of the garage”. Any response like that and King Door would have kept my business. The only positive is that I had no problem getting my money back. And I have gone one elsewhere.

Went fine. The technician came and re-attached the hardware. The door works find now.

I have nothing but good things to say. Polite, prompt, reasonable, efficient.

The serviceman arrived on time. He indicated the extent of the work required, which was surprising. Within the previous 60 days, he had replaced broken springs in the door for $400. This time, since the opener itself was malfunctioning, he had to replace it and the tracks it ran on. He was skilled, and professional, but in the end, I had spent nearly $1000 on garage door parts within 60 days. There was a travel charge included, so that was a part of it (55 miles one-way). But the price was pretty steep. When it was done, my pocket/keychain door openers from the old opener (only a year old) no longer worked because there was a technology change. I'll still have to spend more money to replace them. The service is great, but the price was off the charts.

Excellent! They could've come out the day before but it wasn't convenient for me, so he came out Saturday instead at no additional charge. He was scheduled for the morning, 9-12, but my husband didn't answer the phone when it rang (didn't realize he'd be calling first), so we got bumped back to about 2:00. The gentleman did leave a message, and also called back when he finished his next job. So really the grade of B for promptness was mostly our fault -- I only reduced it because the gal who scheduled it didn't mention he'd be calling first or I'd have left my husband's cell # as well. The door works great now, it only took about an hour, and the gentleman was very nice and acted professionally. We would definitely recommend them to friends.

The first door that was replaced was the double garage door. The door was ordered with custom glass windows on the top panel. The opener was ordered: Lift Master 3800 Jack Shaft The top windows take a couple of weeks to get delivered but nevertheless King door installed the garage door with temporary windows. The installer showed up on time, and with everything he needed. He was very experienced, polite and quick. He did mention that a garage door is installed quicker if he doesn't have to clim all over boxes and stuff in the garage, and open garage gives them more freedom to run all the wiring and setup the hardware, wihtout having to deal with space and ladder, etc. 2 to 3 weeks later the second door was installed (split the cost in two months, King door does not offer credit options, that would be great, with a 0% to pay in 12 months), at the time the single door was installed the custom windows for both doors were ready and installed. This second installer (not the same one for the first door) installed the door with a different technic, but still experienced and very polite as the first one. Both installers asked about how did we wanted the remoted to be configured, tested and explained the product to us. They took very special care to give us all the manuals and hand over the door and opener warranty papers, explaining also that a copy of them will be kept at their office in case of any manufacturing deffects or claims.

They were prompt, courteous and professional. I even received a Thank you card in the mail. Thanking me for my business.

We contacted King Doors initially. For preliminary inspection they were late [I was informed that they were running late]. The gentleman looked at the garage door and said that it will need replacement. He advised us not to use the door bec it might get more damaged. He also informed us that he will not do temp repair. I had offered to pay for temp repair. On next business day I got a call for estimate. I was told that it will be $ 640. I asked them to send the quote to my email. When the email arrived the quote was $ 710. On phone and on email, I was told that the panel will be white and I will have to get it colored. This will be an additional expense. [Ours is HOA and the garage door has to be of specific color]. The company will not tell me whom should I contact to color it. I contacted other Garage-door company in town. The gentleman came. He told us that it will need replacement. He quoted $ 625. He brought pre-finished colored panels [he stated that these were from the original manufacturer] matching the exact one per HOA requirement-no additional color cost. He repaired the door for temporary functioning when he came for initial inspection. He did it free of cost even before we agreed to his terms.

The Estimate and the Work that was done was exellent. Came at the appointment time and explained what he needed and how he was going to go about doing the job.

this was a lot of work for these guys, but the end result is quite a huge improvement over the old doors The workmen arrived on time, and were somewhat taken aback at the age and condition of the old doors, but they set to work - they first removed the old doors and the slidebar at the top of the openings, then removed a couple of odd boards which were part of the original (60+ year old) structure. . They then added several 2x4s to the top of the openings to bring the height down to where they needed it. This took (i think) 8 eight foot long 2x4s. Once they got the openings to size, the rest went very quickly. Overall the work took two guys more than 6 hours, and at one point one of the guys was pulled off the job to go to another job (his expertise was needed? ), but the replacement guy arrived before he left, While everything did not go as smoothly as they had hoped, they did a very nice job.
