Description of Work: Tested HVAC. Needed determination if unit needed to be replaced. Bid on replacement but went with Hassler instead. Hassler listed on PG&E site for processing rebate paperwork and handling required tests and audits.

Description of Work: Classic bait and switch operation. Advertise an incredibly low price, then say they can only do the installation for twice as much money. We went with a reliable local service.

Description of Work: Nice guy, but they WAY overcharge. $200 to replace 2 capacitors, which are around $15 each. The $200 was after talking him down from around $400. Do yourself a favor and replace the capacitor yourself.

Description of Work: Did the most through inspection ever done on our Forced Air Furnace. Cleaned the igniter tips, measured air flow, adjusted blower speed to lessen noise, checked pressure readings, examined air ducts in attic and thoroughly cleaned up ALL the residue on flooring caused by working on the unit. They even shared information about the furnace components as they worked. GOOD JOB!!

Description of Work: Three attempts to schedule resulted in three no shows. When I informed them on my last attempt for service that my issue was urgent, I was informed the appt scheduled two weeks later that this was the first available appt for the "Angie's Deal" service, not keeping in mind that service appts were not kept since November. After they no showed, but called, for the last appt, Angie's List quickly assisted me with a refund and suggesting an alternate company who came out the very next day and resolved our issue In all of this we discovered the value of Angie's List.

Description of Work: Brian came out to complete a bid for a complete removal and replacement of our heater, AC, and duct system. This upgrade is being required by the county for an addition that we are doing. He never looked around our full house or addition, so how is he supposed to give an accurate bid. He asked a few questions about how long we had lived in the house but not much else. He never talked about equipment, models, or sizing. He never even showed me a brochure about the equipment his company uses. He then left, telling me that he would be back in touch with me to give me the bid. I'm still trying to figure out how he was going to come up with an accurate bid by the questions he asked and the lack of looking around that he did. His company called back on 06-18-2014, wanting to schedule another appointment for him to come back out and go over his findings. No thanks.

Description of Work: They were very polite..but must have made 4 trips..sometimes with 3-4 men on the job. |They could not fix the leak, although they thought they did. we would run the a/c and with in 2 hrs it leaked..they said we needed a new unit as they did not want to remove it..we went with another company..BUT they never cashed our check. So for minor repairs they probably ok..they are into SALES!

Description of Work: Our home AC failed right after our car's AC failed - go figure! Fortunately for us, Dave B. diagnosed the problem with our home AC quickly (capacitor) and completed the repair to our compressor within an hour and one-half. We felt the charge was reasonable and are very satisfied.

Description of Work: Air conditioner did not function properly. I sent a message on the web at 7 AM, they responded by 8 and were here by eleven. Diagnosed the problem and repaired in a cost effective manner.
