"Stuff happens, and this business knows how to handle it! We had a stain on the ceiling. Ofri from BTB came over and turned on the water from the upstairs bathtub and then the shower stall. The ceiling became moist after the shower was turned on. Ofri then came back with a plumber. He turned on the upstairs bathtub. After they left, water dripped from the ceiling. Ofri had the plumber immediately send over a team for a service call. They broke open a hole in the ceiling and found that a pipe leading to the bathtub was so rusty it had holes. They took videos showing other pipes leading to the bathtub were also very rusty. While the team was still there, Ofri gave us prices, sent over the paperwork and the pipes were replaced within a of couple hours. Fabulous! Ofri had thought it would take a lot longer to complete the plumbing work. Therefore, her pricing did not align with the actual work performed. She brought in Alon, who substantially reduced the price to our satisfaction. Their responsiveness and reasonableness earned them my highest rating. Thank you Ofri, Alon and the BTB team!"

I had high hopes of getting into our remodeled home within the allotted time that was discussed in the contract but when Covid hit it made the process much longer. Our choices were out of stock or were coming in later than promised. But overall Mike and his team were so professional and so honest with me and my husband about what step they were on or any problems that came up. "A friend referred me to David at Horizon in 2017 when a bathroom renovation/upgrade was required after car accident. His team miraculously converted a 1965 bathroom into a show room design with a beautiful walk-in shower. It’s a challenge with a one-bathroom condo but David & his team made it possible for me to stay in my home the entire time. He was always available by phone/text for even the smallest concern. I reached out to David again this year for repairs due to root damage from common area trees. Most of the damage was at the front of my house but I did ask David to remove the popcorn ceiling in my living/dining rooms where there was a crack in the middle of the condo. To match my new smooth ceiling, the living/dining rooms were painted to give a complete clean look. I purchased my front door which Horizon installed, and David selected the beautiful sliding glass/screen door. I was pleasantly surprised with the new technology and how easily they glide open. The team also replaced the front entry tile which I had previously purchased. Outside, a partial replacement of a fence, demo of old cracked patio, and new cement patio installed. I was told a brush technique was used so I wouldn’t slip if the patio was wet. What great enhancement! They even patched the old stucco and painted. It felt like a new home. Thanks to David and his team for their excellent work! You weren’t just completing a job; you were making a difference in my day-to-day life."

"We started the process of building our detached ADU at the beginning of 2022. We hired an Architect, who drew up a plan to build a 1200 sq ft, 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom house. After 14 months of waiting and addressing revisions required by the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety we got our permit in “Ready to Issue” status. While waiting for city approval, we all started looking for a fair, reliable and honest contractor who would do good/solid construction. We started the process of interviewing contractors and getting bids for the job. After several meetings and several bids, we met Micky Kanian with “AGA Construction”. We found Micky on Yelp. One of his references took us thru an ADU that Micky and team built for his elderly mother-in-law to live in. This family could not say enough good things about Micky and team. They took us thru the property and explained their experience in great detail. We saw another beautiful AGA project, a 5k sq ft + project that was in progress and really knew that day that we’d found our contractor. We weren’t quite ready to pull the trigger for personal reasons, so we put the project on hold. Meanwhile, we continued to collect a couple of other bids that were already in progress. During this process, AGA kept in touch with us. They checked in every few weeks or so, without being pushy or intrusive. After a delay of about 9 months, we decided to move forward with AGA construction. No one is a tougher critic than me. I was dreading this project because of the amount of stress that I knew we’d be under. Both financially and mentally. We’ve all heard and/or lived thru the horror of a construction project gone wrong. I won’t bury the lead any further. We love our ADU!!!!! We started the project on Jan 31st of 2024. We were told that the project would take 6-8 months. We lost the first 6 weeks or so with the heavy rains from last year, but even with that delay, we were mostly done with the project by the middle of August. We ran into the “expected” unknowns and surprises – all dealt with fairly and quickly by Micky and team. I would like to call out Joachin who was amazing. We always felt like we were in the best of qualified hands during this entire process. All inspections were signed off, the last checks were written, and we now have a gorgeous new home behind the main house on that property. We were so happy with the project and trusted Micky and Joachin so much, that we immediately launched a second project of gutting and renovating a very large master bathroom for my In-Laws. That job started on September 23rd and was done the first or second week of November as promised. It would’ve been done sooner, but we had a little “client indecision” that cost us about a week or two. All in all, I would highly recommend Micky and his crew, and we plan to use them for as long as they are in business or until my family and I run out of projects."
