The shower could not be used because the pull that diverts the water up for the shower (instead of going to the tub) was pulled out. I could not find a replacement part online (model was discontinued). Hoppers Plumbing came by the next day, was on time, evaluated the unit and determined the part needed and was able to find the source for a replacement part. They did not ask for a deposit when they ordered the part, nor did they charge for the initial evaluation. When the part came, they rescheduled and was able to repair the shower diverting lever in less than an hour. Price included parts and labor. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Water heater had reached the end of its service life, needing to be changed. Several companies were contacted, 3 for estimates. While the others appeared equally qualified, Hopper?s Plumbing was awarded the job ultimately based on price. The simple job was completed with satisfaction.

I noticed water under the sink and discovered water dripping under the house. It turned out that the water had been leaking for some time and had saturated insulation and the ducts for the heating system. Jordan repaired the leak with new pipe and in a very difficult and almost impossible space under the house.All work was done in a professional manner.

For many months I've noticed my water in the shower isn't quite hot enough unless I run a water-using appliance like the dishwasher the night before. If I do that, I'm guaranteed a very hot shower. Because I know the 'fix' for the problem, I've been living like this for many months in denial of the fact that this is not normal. I finally opted to deal with this problem and call a plumber. Based on other reviews on Angie's list, I called Hopper's Plumbing. Mrs. Hopper made an appointment for me by phone, and beautifully gave me a Saturday appointment. Right away this was a plus. On Saturday, Jacobb Hopper himself appeared on time at my house and went right to work to investigate the problem. At first all appeared normal with the hot water heater, but after some examination, he witnessed the pilot go out while my faucets were turned on. He addressed the problem by performing the previously described services.I am now trying out the water to see if the problem is fixed and will contact him this week to let him know if he needs to come back. I have yet to be billed because it remains to be seen if the job is finished. Mr. Hopper is very professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, a nice person, and patient. He took the time to answer my plumbing questions and educate me about my plumbing. Though my encounter with his company is not yet complete, thus far, I have had an excellent experience and would highly recommend him.

Jaccobb arrived on time for both the estimate and job. Water was shut off for a minimal amount of time. Work was neat and professional. Actual charge was less than the estimate as the job took less time than expected.

I highly recommend Hopper's Plumbing. Everything went without a hitch, and I've had no problems since.

I own a property in Rough and Ready, CA which I rent out to my son. My son informed me that a leak had developed somewhere in the area of the hall bathroom and was leaking through the wall into his roomates bedroom. The home is an older manufactured home with the old-style plastic piping which has a tendency to become brittle and crack over time. We have had experience with this in the past and knew that our Home Protection plan would not cover this so I decided to do a search on Angie's List. I wasn't terribly hopeful that I would be able to get someone out to the boondocks on a Saturday with no advance notice. I called several top rated businesses in the Sacramento area and they either did not go out that far or they had nobody available until Monday. I'm not complaining about these businesses, mind you. They were all very nice on the phone just as you would expect of A rated businesses. Hopper's Plumbing was the last Contractor I called. I was a bit hesitant because he only had one review on file although the review was very positive. I usually want to see several good reviews before hiring someone. However, the owner, Jacobb Hopper, answered his phone immediately and, even though he was heading home to Colfax after completing a job down in the Sacramento area and the weather was miserable, he was willing to come by my property. I explained the problem over the phone and he was very familiar with the problems associated with Manufactured home plumbing. I was very impressed. He agreed to be at my property within 90 minutes and arrived right on time. He inspected the bathroom in question and spent a good deal of time under the house determining exactly where the leak was. It wasn't a huge leak so it was not an easy task finding it. Mr. Hopper was very professional, knowledgable and friendly. He took the time to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. He also gave me an informal quote on what it would cost to change all of the pipes and fixtures throughout the house and it was actually lower than all of the quotes I got 3 years ago! In addition, he got the diposal going and didn't charge extra for that. Even left me a spare disposal wrench for future use. The bottom line is that Mr. Hopper really stands out in an area that is woefully short on high quality service professionals. We lived in Nevada County for many years before moving to Auburn and it is very difficult to even get someone to show up let alone complete a job. He lives in the Colfax area but he's the type of businessman that will go where the work is. This gentleman deserves your business. He obviously understands the meaning of customer service. I highly reccommend him to all of my fellow Angie's List Users. He's a pleasure to do business with.

He was very professional, talked with me about all the options, was very responsive, and he really knew what he was doing. I also thought his prices were reasonable.
