They came out quickly and they were very efficient, I will use them again.

Our well stopped working on New Year's Day. I took a look and the QD Control Box smoked. I called a few plumbers and left messages. Hoppers was the first to respond and were able to come out first thing the next day. I had sent pictures of the item that needed to be replaced and they showed up with the part. Whole job took less than a half hour. Very professional & courteous.

Our work was completed to the highest standard. Mr. Hopper was efficient, professional and charming. We will employ him for our ongoing renovations.

They took the time to analyze the problem, call the manufacturer and make the small fix needed instead of overselling a big fix. The charge was extremely reasonable for the two visits they made. This is a great company. Highly recommend.

On time, fixed quickly, had all the needed parts - replaced an adjacent gate valve at the same time for no additional labor. Highly recommend!

He was correct that the smell was from a toilet wax ring. It had moved off center. He replaced with a new one & also glued down the toilet so it would be more secure & less likely to cause new wax ring to slip. He also replaced the dripping faucet with a new valve.

I was happy with their service. The service came out to be too much. They could have been a little bit better priced. He was a young guy and I thought he was very good. I would like for him to give me an estimate beforehand as to what price it could be. It was more than I had anticipated.

Like all the other reviews I am very happy with the service provided by Hoppers. Very professional! Great care was taken inside my house so as to not damage anything, feet were covered to keep the house and work areas clean. From start to finish everything was handled to my satisfaction. The price is very competitive and the quality is outstanding. They will soon be doing the install of a new dishwasher, after the wife finally decides which one we should be getting ;-)

Water was leaking from several points on well main. Ball valve for irrigation was allowing water to charge system even when in off position. I called Hoppers Plumbing this morning around 9 after checking positive reviews on Angies List. Brandon showed up 90 mins later and had everything fixed or replaced several hours later! Great guy who knows his job! Thanks Brandon.

I hired Hopper's Plumbing to install a new hot water heater in an older home I recently bought. The current hot water heater was not working and nothing was to code. I contacted Hopper's and was able to easily get an estimate scheduled. I thought the price was great and they were able to schedule the job within a week of the estimate which I thought was nice. I also had them install an new dryer vent duct as well as a new kitchen faucet. I could not be there for the actual install, however another family member was there and she was happy with the service as well. It turned out the work took longer than what was originally quoted, however they didn't charge me more than the original price which I thought was very respectable. I would definitely use them again for future plumbing needs.

I called Hoppers Plumbing on the morning of 8/19/14 because of a leak in my shower which was soaking my carpet in the master bedroom. Having guests coming the following day, I was a little panicked. The office told me that all technicians were booked, but she would call and see what they could do to fit me in. Ten minutes later, she called and said someone would be there between 3 and 5. Jacobb arrived around 4:30 and diagnosed my problem. He had to cut open the wall to fix the pipe. Jacobb was professional, friendly and charge a very reasonable fee for he work. I now have a plumber I can call on and trust the work will be done in a timely and fair manner!

Technician Brandon did an excellent job of replacing the two items. He was thorough and efficient and did a good job of cleaning up after himself. I would definitely call Hopper's plumbing again.

These guys are really really good. I thought the pricing was very fair because while they ere here they fixed the water and they also checked our gate which was an electronic gate. I had some extra fuses and they tried the fuses but it didn't work. They figured that it had some sort of surge and the panel had been fried so over all I'd say the price was fair. I never want to say it was a great price but I felt it was fair. I thought the quality was excellent.

Jordan came out on Tuesday the 15th to repair a single connector leading to the pressure tank for my irrigation system and put a clean out valve on a water filter. In the process we determined that the pressure gauge and the power switch were both bad. He determined what parts would be needed and we arranged for him to come back on Wednesday as it was quite late in the afternoon. Murphy's law kicked in right after he left and the house water, which isn't connected to the NID water in any way went out. I was right in the middle of a shower and covered with suds when it happened. Well, it was after hours, but I called anyway and left a message, hoping I could just get them to come first thing in the morning. Jaccob Hopper, called me back within 5 minutes and said he and Jordan would be right over. It turned out that the circuit breaker that powers both well pumps had fried. In addition, the pressure gauge and power switch on the house water pressure tank were bad as well. They jury rigged the pressure tank to give us enough water to get through the night and Jordan came out the very next morning and replaced all of the bad parts. I can't thank them enough for coming back on their own time after a long work day. This is not the first time I have worked with Hopper's. Jordan came out a couple of times last year and Jaccob Hopper actually did a job at our old house in Rough and Ready. They have always done exemplary work and go out of their way to make sure you are happy with the work done. They will also let you know if there is a cheaper way to go on a job, rather than trying to upsale you on everything. I especially appreciate this. I think the thing that I most appreciate about this business is their professionalism. As I said before I have done business with them 3 or 4 times already and they have never missed an appointment or failed to call me back. This is a rare quality in a rural setting like this. Most Service Providers up here are notoriously unreliable. I don't know any who would come out after business hours like Jaccob and Jordan did last week. I am a very satisfied customer and will continue to use them whether they are offering a deal or not. I highly recommend them to all of my fellow Angie's List Users. Incidentally, they are based out of the Auburn area but they will travel into Sacramento.

They went up to check my roof, they didn't find any leaks. He let me know that my roof has some bad spots on it and showed me pictures. I had them come back to install a toilet. They listened to all of my questions and answered them politely. I went out and chose the toilet, they went out and got the toilet for me. They brought the toilet to my home and installed it. The cost of the toilet was $425, which is included in the cost of the service. After they installed the toilet, the shut off valve was a little further out than I like, so he fixed it right away. Both times they came out, they were on time, polite and professional.

I didn't have any hot water. The water heater is only 3 years old, and the LED light thought all was well. It just didn't recognize when I wanted hot water! The company that manufactured the water heater (Bradford & White) thought it was a bad valve on the control panel and told me what part to order. It went great. Hoppers ordered the part ahead of time and came right away, so they didn't need to come back a second time; the part was covered by warranty, and they figured out how to order it without charging me for the part. The owner Jacobb came out. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and extremely nice. So was Mary who set the appointment. Jacobb even got along with the dogs! While the water heater was draining, he was able to fix a bathroom faucet that was spraying water. The water heater is in the middle of the house, and he brought a clean hose to drain it with. The charge was lower than I expected--he rounded down on the time, and their hourly rate is reasonable. They don't charge for the service call because they do free estimates--just per hour (one hour minimum). I highly recommend them.

Everything went well.. He was quick, explained everthing he was doing and we were very happy with his work. Jacobb is very pleasant and easy to talk with and he is a General Contractor and he knows his business. We are looking forward to doing business with him again.

Jacobb fixed a problem I had been dealing with for four years. I bought a new toilet and from the beginning it would slowly fill and then flush. I could hear it from the other room. I had three contractors and two handymen change the level in the tank. Jacobb looked in the tank and saw that the seal was not aligned, probably from the factory installation. No one else had noticed that. He used a $12.00 part (seal) and it has worked like a charm ever since. I have literally spent $100's trying to fix it plus the extra water I must have been using since it flushed on its own so often. Such a small thing to cause so much aggravation. He is also going to give me a bid to replace a rusted out culvert that causes flooding in my yard.

Owner Jacobb Hopper is the best. Prompt, professional, friendly. He is a man of his word and you can trust that he (and his side-kick /employee Jordan) will do the work you need and charge a fair price. I've used their services a few times now and won't call anyone else. I can't recommend Hoppers Plumbing highly enough.

All went well. One of my rentals had a blown water heater, Jacob was out the next morning and took care of everything.

Jordan actually arrived early and his final price was less than his estimate. This company delivers good value for money. I highly recommend them and intend to use them for a possible future AC and heating upgrade. Jordan is highly professional and knows his plumbing. His work was A+.

Jordan was earlier than the estimated arrival time and he called 30 minutes ahead which I appreciated. I thought there might be something wrong with our drain but he assured me that the type of drain I have gets clogged easily and would not need further investigating. He was quick too. I will use Hopper's again. My only complaint the bit of a mess afterward: hair in my bathroom sink and some dirty overspray on my bathroom and shower walls from snaking the shower drain.

He is punctual and pleasant. He makes sure he doesn't leave a mess. He knows what he is doing, he's good at what he does.

We woke up one morning and got no water from our shower. Everthing else seemed to work fine - only the master bath shower. We called Hoppers Plumbing and Jacobb was scheduled to come to look at it. He showed up on time and quickly identified the problem - luckily it was something simple in the showerhead itself, so it was only a short visit and he charged us only $25. We were impressed with Jacobb and scheduled him to come back for another small job - replacing the fixtures in the guest bath tub - I had some some repainting and minor remodeling - changing out the old brass fixtures for new bronze. Once again, Jacobb was punctual and completed this job quickly - charging us only $40. Now my bathroom is beautiful and updated.
