I have a pretty large deck with two levels, partially raised supports on a hillside. I went with Deome due to their great reputation and reviews on Angie's List, and I wasn't disappointed. You can probably find lower estimates, but I just wanted to make sure the job was done right. Harley came and gave a thorough estimate, and helped us figure out some of the design details and options. He was very nice and helpful. I valued his opinions on materials, colors, etc. When it came time to do the job, Fred managed the project. Everything went very fast, completely on schedule. The crew was extremely competent, as they clearly build a lot of decks and know what they're doing. Everything was smooth and easy, and we had no surprises. These guys are very professional. In the end, the deck is beautiful, and we are really enjoying it.

Took a bit of time to get building permit and HOA approval. I did bug Harley, owner, now and then to keep updated with the process. He was responsive usually within 24 hours with an answer. I also think the company is in high demand and very busy with lots of projects so may need to be patient. Cover was installed in one day and the installers were awesome. Very impressed with Harley and the installers. The installers gave me some great ideas and were very flexible. I am very impressed with the way it looks. I got several bids and Deome was the most reasonable. I would use again.

Deome2Builders replaced our 23 year old rotted deck with an up-to-code Trek deck that required a firewall. It took awhile to get the job going due to figuring out city codes/getting approval of a final plan, but once the job began everything moved along. Both Harley, who handles initial contact, design, estimates, and Fred, who oversees construction and crew are great. They honored original estimates/discounts, charged fair rates for dry rot repair and firewall construction and Fred went above and beyond to respond to requests we made during construction to make sure we were completely satisfied with the finished product. Our friends who have seen the new deck, and a couple of contractors who have been to the house to give estimates for other jobs, comment on our great deck. It was a very good experience working with Harley and Fred and I would highly recommend Deome2Builders to anyone thinking about replacing/building a deck.

I really liked him. I didn't go with him at the time because it was out of my price range. He was very good and thorough. His price was in line with the other bids that we received. I've contacted him a few times since the original purchase for options. His work is top notch. He talked to me on a Sunday night and reworked plans so I would have a similar plan to compare to other bids. He's a very very good contractor.

They informed us the week prior of the day they they were going to be able to start the following week. The day the project was to start, construction manager, Fred Deome, and crew showed up promptly at 8 a.m. and every day after for 3 days. They rebuilt the deck and added some matching fencing to surround our pool equipment and air conditioning units so they are not such eyesores to our outdoor kitchen area which is located next to the deck and new spa. The deck and fencing enclosure all came out great and we were very pleased overall with the look and the professionalism of the team.

It took a while for them to return our calls. But a rep visited our home, we talked through our ideas/needs and a few weeks later, we got rudimentary plans for a simple deck. Nothing my husband couldn't have drawn himself. Nothing wrong with the service or the plans, just nothing mind-blowing. We were hoping for more creativity or ideas beyond what we could do ourselves. So no bad review here. Just nothing to write home about, either.

Excellent quality materials and workmanship done very timely and professionally. very good detail work. Price was a little higher than I hoped but overall excellent results.

All work was performed on time, within budget, and was what we had envisioned. Now after enjoying our new deck for more than a year, we only regret that we did not do this sooner. We would contract with Deome again without any hesitation.

Was on time for the 1st appointment. Was a tad bit late for the 2nd appointment but he called to let me know. My fridge was not getting cold but my freezer was. The problem was that the cold air wasn't getting from the freezer to the fridge compartment. I probably could have fixed this myself but i didn't have the time and wasn't exactly sure if i had figured out which part was bad. All mike did was read the debug paperwork at the bottom of the fridge and then run a self diagnostic through the fridge which then told him what part was bad. It took him like 10 minutes. I already had an idea what part was bad but he just confirmed it. Since he's probably seen this a million times he was fast and completely sure which part to order. His total cost for labor was about $80. The rest of the cost was for the part and taxes. So the major cost was the part which i would have had to buy if i did it myself. So i think $80 is a fair cost to get my fridge up and running again. He made an effort to not waste time since he was getting paid by the 1/4 hour... i thought that was nice. Since we had to order the part which would take a few days he showed me a way to rig the fridge so cold air would make it into the fridge compartment again in the meanwhile. That totally worked and we had a cold fridge again in a few hours after his 1st appointment.

It worked out beautifully. They were very easy to work with. They were very hopeful in trying to assist us in designing something. They were prompt to be here on time. Their workers were kind and courteous. They did have some issues with the building department but those issues got worked out. We were very happy with what they did. They were considerably lower from what estimates I got before.

I found this company on Angies List and also through a local lumber supply company and am very happy with their services. Harley was very knowledgable, punctual and responsive, he laid out a number of deck options and gave us a 3D design of our deck, which was very helpful since we changed out our railing options to a stainless steel horizontal cabling system which we absolutely love! We had a concrete patio installation that was a month delayed before the deck could go in, but once we were ready for the deck to get started the company got us on the schedule very quickly and the crew was punctual and did an excellent job completing the deck in 2 weeks. Fred was extremely great to work with and he was very sensitive to the details and any issues that came up. His crew lead was fantastic and all the guys worked very hard and built a solid, well built deck. We were very impressed with this company and would hire them again. Their price was a bit higher than the other bids but for the service and the quality of installation, it was well worth it.

Deome Builders are very much in demand which is why I had to wait several months to have them build my deck. But the entire build experience and the final product was well worth the wait. I must admit that I was a bit skeptical at the start that I wouldn't get all that was promised to me for such a good price. Perhaps the workmanship or materials would not be good quality? After all, you usually get what you pay for, right. But, to my amazement and total appreciation, the deck building process and the finished product turned out to be beyond my expectations. The four-man, professional building crew arrived at the appointed day and time and immediately started surveying the build site for an 18 ft. x 16 ft. deck. After digging holes for the nine footings and pouring the concrete footings, the crew then quickly built the deck framework which consisted entirely of extra sturdy, treated Douglas fir. They even reinforced the entire half of the deck (9ft. x 16 ft.) to accommodate a future hot tub! Next came the decking material itself which was the better grade of Trex composite. The great build price also included 50 feet of upgraded, hammered & powder-coated railing, installed in 7 sections. The entire deck project was completed in only five days. Since the building crew didn't mind me hanging around, I really enjoyed watching them put the deck together, from start to finish. Not only were they well experienced and real craftsmen in all aspects of the building process, but they were also very friendly towards me. They eagerly answered all of my layman questions and even shared with me some of their "tricks of the trade" in building decks. In summary, I couldn't ask for a better, higher quality and more beautiful deck! Not for even thousands of dollars more. And that's not even considering the low price I paid, compared to what other builders had offered. Thank you Deome Builders for making my custom, dream deck become a reality! Thanks, too, to the terrific crew who built my deck. I certainly recommend your company to anyone who wants to have a beautiful, high quality, custom made deck built for them, at a truely reasonable price. It has been a real pleasure doing business with Deome Builders!

Harley was on time to our appointment and very professional. He created a detailed drawing and proposed a very nice deck. His price was about $3000 higher than four other contractors we obtained bids from however, after the Angie's List Big Deal discount, his bid was right in the ballpark with the others. Unfortunately, the price was out of my budget even after the discount so we did not hire Deome. I would definitely reconsider Deome should we decide to build the deck in the future.

Started on time. Finished before estimated date. Workers are seasoned professionals. Cleaned after themselves every day. Result looks great. Not cheap, but you get what you paid for.

It was a pleasure dealing with a true professional, and that is how our experience with Harley Deome was!!!

Had to reschedule the first appointment, but this appointment was kept and Harley was on time. He was very polite, professional and easy to talk to. I explained what I wanted, a composite deck off my back sliding patio door. He first measured from the bottom of the door down to the concrete to make sure it would be feasible. It was feasible so, he measured the width and length of my present patio cover and then I asked him to measure to the end of my house. That way I could see what was affordable for me. He explained to me the direction that the decking would be laid and why. I also, asked about replacing my patio cover. He answered all my questions knowledgeably, and showed me some optional looks. Then he sat down and made a scaled sketch of the area and wrote up an estimate for me. He gave me brochures of the products used and was able to direct me to a place where I could actually see the material displayed. He also gave me payment options,one with a discount, and also told me I might be able to find another discount if I looked on line.

They provided me with a drawing. It went alright. I didn't have them do the actual work. The representative was prompt. Even though they were busy he made time to contact me

The guy that was supposed to come and give me the design resigned from the company, and there was no follow up for weeks. To the company's credit they tried to make it right, but I believe were overwhelmed with the task, because I was never able to get anything scheduled. I finally gave up because it became more of a hassle than it was worth.

Estimate was prompt and complete. Deome left free sample of material.
