Description of Work: We called Tom to come out to fix a plumbing issue in one of our bathrooms. Tom gave us a time he would be out and he was prompt. Tom fixed the problem in the bathroom in no time. We then mentioned to him that we had a problem with the water heater. Tom fixed that as well and charged us a fraction of what we felt his services would cost.

Description of Work: Pull toilet for access and run 3/4"x100' snake through the closet bend to clear root stoppage and reset toilet with new wax seals and bolts.

Description of Work: We couldn't get the water line to the fridge to work, the contractor and a handyman didn't want to touch it because they were afraid the old valve would break off. Tom and his guy got it working in a couple hours and cleaned up after themselves. He also fixed a shower that would always start out with dirty water - bad pipe - he fixed it up quick! Nice guy, great service - was able to do it SAME DAY!!! Will call again for sure.

Description of Work: I contacted Tom's Quality Plumbing on a Saturday night with a plumbing issue in our guest house. I asked that Tom cal lme on Sunday if he could or Monday at the latest to schedule a visit. Tom called me by 9:00 Monday morning and scheduled a service for the same day. He arrived and diagnosed the problem. Felt he needed a camera to determine the true nature of the back up. I agreed as this is the second time I in year that Tom has come out for service on this line .He contacted a secondary plumber with the camera equipment .

Description of Work: Replaced four water shut-off valves, Installed my garbage disposal, a new reverse osmosis drain line and new main drain line into the wall. Installed my new faucets through my countertop.

Description of Work: Fixed the sewer backup and installed some newer drain pipes at my request, as suspected the old ones looked clogged inside after he removed. He also fixed some other issues with a recent new toilet install from a handy man. I requested next day AM service on a Sunday night and he rearranged his schedule to accommodate which I was impressed and pleased with especially given the state of my bathroom. His partner even cleaned up the mess in the bathroom and trust me, It’s was bad. Man was I ever happy with that bonus. I took a close look at the work they did and they really did do a great job. I’ll surly have this guy back on my next plumbing issue.

Description of Work: I called Tom's Quality Plumbing for a leak where the water softener discharges to the main drain. From our conversation on the phone Tom came quickly and had the right part.

Description of Work: I used Tom's Quality Plumbing because we had a flood. They came to our house and stopped the leak and recommend us to someone who could dry out our wall.

Description of Work: Tom Freuler and his assistant, Robert, called before they came and arrived promptly when scheduled and worked for me at least six hours to find minor problems, diagnose and fix them. Originally I called Tom's Quality Plumbing from Angies List because he was located near where I live and had a significant number of great responses to practically all of his service calls. My bathtub didn't have a screen to protect the drain from variant items that might enter. I had seen two dimes in there and noticed the drain had slowed significantly. He rigged up a vacuum that sucked them out before the problem got worse and then they rehooked the bath tub drain handle so it would close properly. He noticed my water heater wasn't tied down and so took care of that. He ran a long snake to check on narrowing of the drain in the back bathroom clear to the front of the house and hooked up a new sink closure, also replacing the trap so it would align better and avoid leaking. In the front bathroom, he replaced the flapper in the toilet so it would close more securely and not pass as much water. He closed off the drain in the unused shower in order to eliminate critters which might want to come in from below. He was certain to close off any openings which could let sewer gases (methane, an odorless gas) come back up the drain into the house environment. He showed me that I could replace the drain cap with a drain cover that would allow me to use the shower if I changed my mind. He called his supplier to see if he could get a 16 1/2 in. bowl rise low flow on short notice for a new toilet that very day and brought it back with him after a late lunch time. In order to make it all fit, he had to chip out some of the cement from the old drain and did that so the new floor area could sit awhile before the new toilet got fitted to it. The new toilet was secured with two bolts, I think and although I didn't see them do it, the new toilet was more secure than the four old bolts, sealed and may have had shims inserted to make sure it was level. Tom offered to come back and resettle the toilet if I wanted to add new flooring later. Tom and his assistant worked on different parts of my service simultaneously so neither stood around waiting for the other. Great job, very courteous and helpful so I could understand what was going on. I may have forgotten to mention something quite important, but I was ecstatic about the improvements that happened that day. Thank you.

Description of Work: The pipes from the house to the outside were blocked with plant roots, and Tom cleared the pipes. It was a pretty bad clog.

Description of Work: Called Tom regarding a water leak dripping from the ceiling in the kitchen. He determined where the water was coming from and solved the problem.

Description of Work: This plumber doesn't check his e-mail, so e-mailing him is worthless. I called after no reply from my e-mail. He set up a day and time to come by and look at bathroom apt above my office that is leaking water behind tiles. The guy never showed and didn't even call. Guess he doesn't need the business.

Description of Work: Our upstairs toilet was plugged. The plunger did not help. Of course this happens on a Sunday.

Description of Work: I had a phantom leak under the slab and under the stairs. Tom and his helper located the leak and went to work quickly to cut a hole in the drywall to gain access under the stairs. Then they jack hammered the slab to find the leaking pipe.

The second time I received a call from a tenant at 5PM on a Saturday indicating that the bathtub and toilets were backed up. I called Tom at 6PM and he agreed to meet me at 7PM (On Saturday night). He arrived on time after giving me a quote over the phone. He snaked the main line and charged me the amount he quoted over the phone. No haggling, no inflated estimates, no bull. Tom is a professional with integrity and I would recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: Repair a water leak at the water meter situated in our parking strip.

Description of Work: I had been notified by the City of Brea that I must have a water leak as my usage had increased substantially. I called Tom on Friday afternoon and he came out on Saturday morning. He said he would be at my home between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. He called at about 9:15 to let me know that he was on his way. He and his co-worker Robert arrived and they were both very friendly and polite. He used his water leak detector to determine where my problem was and it turned out that my pool water valve was the true culprit. He fixed the valve; fixed the small leak in my bathroom and installed a new shower head for me. Both Tom and Robert were friendly; fast and efficient. They explained to me fully what my issues were and took care of them right away. They were in and out in about an hour. I would highly recommend Tom's Quality Plumbing and plan on using them again whenever there is a need.
