Eddie and his team completely transformed our pool. The final product is spectacular! The entire crew was professional and reliable, always showing up when they said they would. Before hiring Pool Effects Inc I interview 4 other pool companies. Owner Eddie was the best at setting expectations and educating me on what to expect. For example the last time my pool surface had been done was 2001. Eddie advised me there may be gunite issues and sure enough their were, and Eddie showed me specifically the damage. This transparency through the whole process made me confident I had made the right choice. And lastly Eddie was uber responsive to all my inquiries, often getting back to me within minutes to hours and never longer than 24 hours. I would highly recommend Eddie and Pool Effects to anyone who wants high quality work and an awesome experience!!!

Eddie and the entire pool effects crew did a fantastic job. We love the final results. We did the stone creation finish and it looks great. We told Eddie what we wanted to do and what repairs were necessary. He went over each item and explained how they would be done. He also explained potential problems and cost of repairs that might be revealed after plaster removal. Which there were. So we were prepared. The crew showed up everyday right on time. They did a cleanup when they left every time. Eddie kept us well informed on schedules and moved us up if openings occurred .Our project was finished ahead of schedule. Anytime we had questions or concerns Eddie would respond quickly. We highly recommend Eddie and Pool Effects.

We started with a leak from a punctured hole in our old copper pipe. After interviewing 14 companies, Pool Effects was the company that was chosen. One of the main reasons for choosing Pool Effects was that Edward offered 3-d renderings of the finished project without a fee, something that none of the other companies offered. Pool Effect offers this service only if you chose them as the contractor. This is completely understandable, donâ t want a contractor doing all the prep work for free and taking the drawing to another company. This was helpful for people who have a difficult time picturing how the different pieces (coping, tile, pebble, and pavers) will look together. We even used some of the ideas in the drawing to improve our landscape looks. Edward was the only one (before we selected him as our contractor) to provide us with a temporary solution to our leaks. All the other companies just looked at the leak and ignored it. Edward immediately looked at the pipe and suggested a solution, which was extremely helpful. This tells us he is willing to make sure the project was done exactly the way we wanted. Edward also understood the city code well so that they were approved after the first inspection and there was no delay in completing the project. He was also conscientious of the budget and found material that fits with the desired vision of the backyard. Edward also has a great design style and understood our likes/dislikes and helped to create our ideal backyard. The workers were also quiet, arrived on time, and tided the yard at the end of the day. Edward made this daunting remodel much easier and clearly explained each step so that the project was completed within budget, on time, and beautifully. He even made sure our drain blends with the paver but incorporating the pavers into the drain caps. The attention to detail was ridiculously amazing. They made sure we were constantly updated with the project from demolition to delivery of material. He also made sure before and during a particular phase of the construction if we were happy with the design, and also explained the process. Edward was extremely patient with us. We had questions at every turn. We would text, email, phone calls, and even meeting in the morning to go over the day and week's plans, answer our hundreds of questions. Not once was Edward impatient with our questions. Edward also was flexible when it came to our â particularâ request. For example, we wanted all the pavers to line up in straight lines. Something not commonly done. Not only was he being able to come up with a workaround, but he also made it looked amazing. Expect Pool Effect to start work early in the morning, right at 7 AM. Their team worked efficiently and fast. Things that slowed down the project were getting city inspectors to show up due to the Covid restriction, and properly allowing the concrete/gunite to cure. So donâ t rush these steps. Edward will give you a timeframe to select your color and material. He wonâ t tell you last minute and rush you, usually about 2-3 weeks outs. As for payment, Edward would provide you with a payment timeline (as each phase is complete). He will provide a â checklistâ with his contract. Extremely helpful to us to stay on track. Upfront and transparent. What did we do to our backyard? Complete demolition. / Micro-peddles our pool. / New tiles / New coping / New pavers. / New filter system. / Additional spa / New drainage. / New automation system. / New LED / New autofill system. / New electric heater for spa and pool. / Improve the wall footing look with planters. We have been extremely blessed with the work Pool Effect. There are a few great pool companies out there, but I have to say based on personal experience. Canâ t go wrong with Pool Effect.

Eddie and his crew was always prompt and efficient, and answered all my questions as the project progressed. The scope of the work increased as problems were found but Eddie had warned me that it could happen. Despite this, he worked hard to retain a modified schedule as quickly as possible. The pool looks great now, and I canâ t wait to swim in it.

Glad we chose Pool Effects. Eddy communicated honestly and clearly about all aspects of our pool and deck demolition, re-plaster, re-tile and re-build. His crew was dependable, respectful and professional. What's more, I feel if I had questions or issues in the future, he would continue to be helpful.

Besides the pool renewal, we also had the backyard redone completely. We are very pleased with workmanship and professionalism. The customer service and attention to detail were excellent.

Ed, the owner, was excellent to work with. He was very knowledgable and clearly explained what would be done. The price was fair and competitive. I was thoroughly pleased with the end result. His crew did an excellent clean up when the job was finished. Ed also recommended additional electrical work that should be done on my old pool equipment. I highly recommend this company.

The entire project of our spa renovation was executed very efficiently. The owner Eduardo was very professional, honest, gave us options between the low and higher cost items, was very attentive at every stage of the project, provided timely updates about upcoming work. Replace coping, retile, and replaster with pebble. The work was excellent. Eduardo quickly understood the scope of our remodel desires and provided a reasonable quote tailored to our needs. Ed, was fantastic . He shows up on time and gave a reasonable estimate and on top of that provided with a lot of information about pool and valves and their maintenance which really helped me . His crew (Jose) was amazing . They know exactly what they were doing . He saw one of my garden hoses leaking and fixed it . It s a small thing but small things matter and he went above and beyond and that makes the difference .
