ChemFree Exterminating Alternatives

All went very well.

We were given an inspection of the attic and all outside wood areas, followed by an estimate of extermination with an additional estimate for replacing all damaged exterior. When the carpenters arrived and rechecked before leaving again to purchase the lumber, they pointed out several additional wood that needed to be replaced, which was really appreciated. There were no additional charges for the additional needed wood, as well as the additional labor required. There were 4 men to complete the work, all very professional, cleaning up very well, and were a pleasure to deal with.

Estimator arrived before appointed time and did a thorough inspection with a reasonable estimate. Workers also arrived early, did the work and cleaned up with minimal disturbance.

The technician had to delay his arrival a couple of hours since the previous client had need of additional treatment. I was fine with that so when he called I said he could come later. Of course I had hoped that situation would not exist in my home since I have a predominately wood home so that was a possibility. Noe, the technician, explained clearly and patiently what he would do and when he was finished he walked me around the house to show where the orange oil was injected. He had made a point to drill into the white painted areas where ever he could so that it would not be such an eye sore. I felt very comfortable doing business with Noe and having him come into my home. Thank you for a job well done!

They were very good and did everything they said they would do. Their prices were reasonable. They were more reasonable than some of the others. I haven't had any problems with termites since then. They were very responsive and came out when they said they would come out. They showed up on time. They took us around and explained how we could tell where they sprayed. It was kind of glow in the dark. They took a part of the ceiling off and we were able to see it.

I got a visit from Chemfree and a thorough inspection was performed. Drywood termites were discovered near the front door and front fascia; subterranean termites discovered in the subarea (crawl space). Fumigation was provided as an alternative but I decided I didn't want to move out for two nights. A treatment was scheduled a few days later and XT2000 Orange Oil was used to treat the drywood termites. Preventative treatment (spraying unfinished wood) was done in the attic, garage, and subarea. Overall the treatment went well and I am pleased with their services.

They had the best price around and the estimated amount was $4750 for their services. I would probably end up using them.

The owner came out and reviewed our home and provided a quote during the visit. He was very professional and informative. We scheduled the fumigation with Chemfree and their firm has there own internal fumigation people. They arrived on time and were very proficient in tenting the house. The workers were courteous and the owner came by to make sure all was going well. We have a tile roof and the workers were very good with the roof with minimal tile damage. After the fumigation was completed, they promptly removed and folded the tents and cleaned up nicely. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend Chemfree.

The Chemfree repersentive came at the appointed time. He completed the entire job in about two hours.

He came quickly, was prepared and evaluated the problem correctly. Job done though we felt, as it turned out, a little costly for the service. We would call him again though.

The job went very well and without any stress on us or our pets. The technician arrived on time and explained what he was going to be doing and why. He had to treat some of the kitchen cupboards from inside because we have aluminum siding on the outside of our house. He was very careful when doing this and completely cleaned up after himself and cleaned up all the termite droppings that he found in those cupboards. He did under our house and did the entire garage. There were areas like our laundry room and back of the house that did not need treating so those parts were not done. The technician was very professional and answered all of our questions and did a very good job. When he left he gave us a copy of their chemical information sheet that listed all of the chemicals that he used and the active ingredients in them and where he put each of these chemicals. We were able to put all of our dishes and other items back into these cupboards before he left. There was no smell after he was done. We were very pleased with the price which included a senior discount. We were also pleased with the full years guarantee which most places do not give even the ones that do the tenting. Overall it was a very good experience.

They use eco-friendly non-toxic exterminating product called Timbor. We love that option and the health benefits and convenience of this product because you do not have to leave your home. Sometimes more than one application is needed.

I don't trust them. They used orange oil. I wasn't that pleased. The price was reasonable. They have a disclaimer in their paper work that there is damage they didn't repair. They didn't get termites, but they got damage. There are places now that have shown and I am going to have to recall them back and go through this. It is a slower process. I have a feeling that tapping is the best resolve. Chemical injection is too localized to be totally efficient. It's a lot of money to put up for something that to me didn't work out as well as it should have. Their customer service was good. They were on time. They were responsive. I will use them for the year the contract is valid for because I am not going to call somebody else out and pay for it all over again.

We found evidence of termites, so we called Chemfree to come out and take a look. We chose them mostly because they were local, and had good ratings on Angie's List. Dan came out and confirmed what we already knew, and went over the options available. We decided to go ahead and tent the house, as we were leaving town for a vacation the following week. We set up the way to leave the house key, and went over the procedures for bagging any food items to be left. When we returned we found everything in good shape, with the exception of some dirty footprints, and a scrape on our recently installed hardwood floor. All was as expected, with the exception of the floor scrape, and we will not hesitate to use them again, if needed.

Owner came by to give an estimate. It seemed reasonable. It included a 3 year warranty, which impressed me. He was nice. He was very flexible on dates for service. His people were polite. Workers didn't damage roof tiles too much. A few plants close to the house died. We were warned about both. When we ran out of bags, owner came by on a holiday to bring us more. While tenting one's house isn't fun, it was as painless as one could imagine. I would definitely recommend him and his company.

About a month ago, discovered drywood termites swarming all over my brand new deck. A friend recommended Daryl and his assistant made an appointment right away for a couple days away. Daryl arrived on time and checked out the deck and also looked at a problem in our outbuilding with subterranean termites. Got quote the same day and they came out within the week. Went very well. Arrived right on time. They were going to use orange oil for the deck and I was concerned about drips and staining. Sergio (I think that was his name) said he understood my concern and was very careful even though he had to treat every single joint. In addition to the deck and outbuilding they also did the inside rafters in my garage and all of the rafters around the house. Wasn't expecting that as we hadn't discussed it. Overall, a very positive experience. And, so far, the termites are gone!

Overall experience was good. Quick response to initial call to get termite inspection. Owner came on time for inspection. However, rather than a thorough inspection, he basically let me describe where the problems were based on another company's inspection. Perhaps he realized the other company had done a thorough inspection so he did not feel he had to do his own. Setting up the work to be completed was easy. Work was done within several days after making the appointment. Technician was late for the appointment, but called to warn me. Technician was knowledgeable and courteous. However, he was surprised when I asked that they inject Termidor rather than Dragnet for the subterranean termites. When I made the appointment for the work, I specifically asked the office manager that I preferred Termidor based on what I had read about the two termicides. Hopefully they used the correct treatment. Price was much lower than other quotes I received. They did not do as much as the other termite companies recommended but, based on my budget, I was satisfied with the work they did.

The got rid of all of my termites. They come out on time and regularly check up on my progress. I recommend them for others to use. They come out between services if there are any problems and do it for free.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK BECAUSE THERE WAS NO 'AFTER SMELL' LIKE MOST COMPANIES LEAVE AFTER THEY SPRAY YOUR HOUSE FOR BUGS. THE ANTS HAVEN'T RETURNED EITHER.
