Description of Work: I went with ADT corporate instead of an authorized dealer because I wanted new equipment. An ADT AD could have installed for free. But I have to say, everything has gone very smoothly. The rep came out and walked through the house with me for about an hour, working out how to configure the system. The installation was set for the following week. The installer was punctual, friendly, and had a lot of expertise. I am really glad I went with them.

Description of Work: I have been with ADT for several years and their service is horrible. My alarm has had problems sending to the main board for at least 2 years and they would not come out to repair the system. Now it is beeping, very loudly, every 6 minutes and they won't come out for 12 days. We can not live with the beeping so for approx. $400.00 they will come out today but not until after 6pm. I called them at 1pm regarding this problem.

IT WAS POOR. IT DIDN'T WORK AS PROMISED. THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE MISREPRESENTED THE PRODUCT AS FAR AS THE PRICE. THEY GAVE US AN INTRODUCTORY PRICE WHICH THEY DIDN'T EXPLAIN WAS INTRODUCTORY, AND THEN IT INCREASED WITHOUT NOTIFICATION.
Description of Work: WE HAVE A HOME ALARM SYSTEM PUT IN THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO WORK WITH OUR PETS, BUT IT DIDN'T. OUR CATS KEPT SETTING IT OFF.

THEY ARE VERY MUCH ON TIME. THE SYSTEM IS PERFECT. I ONLY USED IT ONCE BY ACCIDENT, BUT THE POLICE WERE THERE VERY FAST BEFORE I COULD CALL IT OFF. THEY WERE VERY NEAT. THEY DIDN T LEAVE BIG HOLES OR WIRES HANGING OUT. YOU DON'T KNOW THAT THE SYSTEM IS THERE.

I FELT THAT THE COMPANY IS VERY RELIABLE. IF I WERE TO REFER THEM TO A FRIEND, I WOULD SAY THAT THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME. THE PRICE IS MONTHLY AND VERY REASONABLE. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, BUT WE ONLY TALK TO THEM ON THE PHONE. WHEN THEY COME OUT THEY WORK WELL WITH YOU. THEY ARE VERY COURTEOUS.

THEY DID A FINE JOB FOR WHAT WE WERE ASKING THEM TO DO FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES WHEN THE ALARM HAS GONE OFF AND IT IS A MISTAKE. WE'RE SUPPOSED TO CANCEL IT. THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO CALL US, BUT A LOT OF TIMES IT IS A DELAYED CALL. IF THEY CAN'T REACH US, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO CALL OUR CELL PHONES. IT WAS TEN MINUTES LATER.

ADT HAS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, and VERY PUNCTUAL. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME, AND INSTALLED MOTION DETECTORS GIVING MY CATS THE ABILITY TO ROAM THE HOUSE, AND WAS VERY CLEAR WHEN EXPLAINING HOW TO USE THE KEY PAD AND SYSTEM. THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT CALLING YOU WHEN ANY MOTION, OR DOOR ALARM GOES OFF.

THE INSTALLER THAT WAS SENT TO MY HOME WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL. WITH THIS BEING THE FIRST SYSTEM THAT I EVER HAD, IT SEEMED AS IF IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT AND TOO MUCH TO REMEMBER. BUT WITH HIM SPENDING ABOUT 5 MINUTES WITH US WE WERE AWARE OF HOW IT WORKED AND PLEASED WITH THE SYSTEM.
