Dan responded promptly to my call, making an appointment to come to our house and see the work that needed to be done. He was on time, knowledgeable, and easy to talk with. Before discussing it with Dan, I had hoped to fence the entire garden area with a permanent fence made of heavy wire. Dan went to Home Depot, priced the fencing we had been talking about, and estimated the cost of the finished fence. It would have cost far too much - a fact he volunteered and I agreed with - and so we came up with a more reasonable/temporary solution. The instalation of the standing light become more complicated when Dan realized that the bolts that came with the light wouldn't work with the cement slab we had. He went to the hardware store, got the proper anchoring bolts and installed the fixture.

Dan was courteous, prompt, professional. His prices are reasonable and he is a careful, conscientious craftsman. He works to the motto, "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right."

Dan was punctual, professional and capable. He quickly figured out what the problem was with our landscape lighting, and fixed it. He also repaired a gate handle that had been loose for years.

Overall, it was a great experience having Dan work for me and I won't hesitate for a moment to call him in the future for small repairs around my home. I highly recommend Dan the Handyman.

Dan was prompt and professional in his repair of my blind, which was stuck in the up position. He is always considerate, very professional, and in many ways quite brilliant in the way he analyzes a problem and then goes about fixing it.

Dan is great shows up on time, completes the job superbly and cleans up. All for what I think are reasonable prices.

My ceiling fan light stopped working. I called Dan whose first visit was in early June. He checked the fixture and all the wiring was correct so we eliminated that. Together we called the ceiling manufacturer explained what was going on. They sent me a new sensor for the remote control. Dan came a a couple weeks later when I received the censor to replace it. The lights still didn't come on. So we called them back together. This time they sent a whole new replacement fan. When I received it I called Dan. I have to return the old one, so he carefully took apart the old one. Once the new fan was in place he put the parts of the old one in the box for me to return. The new fan works with the remote. Dan did the job in a little over an hour. I paid $75 for his service and will call upon his services again.

He is great as a handyman; he does good work. He is professional, he is friendly, and he manages his time well.

He was very pleasant on the phone when I first contacted him. We arranged a time for him to come to the house to look over the projects I had in mind. He was punctual, professional, and very responsive. He was honest about what he could and could not do. He came promptly on the day agreed on for the job, and he did everything to perfection. I would definitely use his services again, and I plan to quite soon!

He came out the same day that we had called him. He?s great. We love him and would highly recommend him.

Our back house came up for rent and needed many little maintenance things done. I had a long list of stuff that I handed to Dan and he took care of it. I really appreciated his making suggestions that saved us money and that some of the parts Dan bought for the job came from the Pasadena Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Dan always shows up on time, works efficiently, gives a legible invoice and, in my opinion, charges reasonable prices for excellent, careful work.

Dan arrived 5 minutes early, was very professional (but friendly), as I showed him what we wanted done. I had to leave for work, but my mom reports he finished in about an hour including a trip to a hardware store to buy the new unit. We both felt comfortable with Dan--he's all about no pressure, was nicely dressed and was ready to work. We will hire Dan again--just making our list!

After contacting Dan in the morning he came over a couple of hours later to install my light fixture. Very professional and friendly. He completed the job in the time he stated. I plan on using his services in the future.
