Dan the Handyman

Dan is meticulous, careful and quick. His work is always top-notch.

EXCELLENT work. Dan is the best, he's quick, clean, on time and fair pricing. If you're lucky enough to be able to get him in his busy schedule (he's in very high demand) you won't regret it. He's one of those rare people that you can give a job to and forget it about it knowing that it's going to be done right and on time and won't break the bank.

Perfect work, timely and professional. I would recommend Dan the Handyman to everyone. He is very easy to deal with and courteous.

Not well either time. First time I had bought the items necessary to secure the bookshelves and told him how I wanted it done. He insisted on doing it another ways. Not only did his method not work, but he ended up going with my suggested method and charged me his wasted time. The second time I hired him was to connect a new dryer. He did so and in pushing it back into place he punctured the hose he'd installed. I figured it out quickly (flying dust) and he repaired the problem no charge. But at two for two with things not going well, my time wasted, I am not calling again. He's very personable, but when I do work for clients I don't bill them for time if I make a bad call.

Dan was great! I gave him a tour of the gutters, and he set to work. He noted a set of gutters that I completely forgot about (it was hidden under the hedge). In less than 2hrs, I have cleared gutters which should now do their jobs for the impeding rain!

Dan was punctual and professional. I had trouble reaching a light fixture that hangs in my stairwell and had, consequently broken off the bulb still in the socket. Dan was able to replace the bulb. Also, the bulb in my porch light had also broken in the socket. Dan recommended replacing the whole fixture as it was broken and falling apart (plastic). He went down to the hardware store and picked up another fixture and then replaced the entire fixture to my satisfaction.

Dan is great. Very professional and handy!

It went very well. He came on time and was prepared with all the necessary tools. The work was completed reasonably quickly and he left with all debris properly cleaned and removed. I would rehire him for routine maintenance any time. I have no adverse comments to make.

Dan came out to take a look at one of my rain gutters which was becoming detached from the house. I thought it?d be a big deal to fix, but he said it wouldn?t be a problem. He checked his schedule and we made an appointment for 3 weeks later. He came on time with some parts he had to buy and made the repairs in no time. Also, he noticed that my gate wasn?t swinging closed properly and took the initiative to fix that too! He?s friendly and professional, and his fee is more than reasonable. I highly recommend him.

It went very well. He was on time, diagnosed the problems, went and bought the parts he needed and completed the work in less than two hours. He maintained the area well while he worked and left everything clean when he finished. He saved the old parts for me and provided a written bill. He worked efficiently and he was very thorough. I will be contacting him for any future handyman needs. I have already given his contact information to one of my neighbors.

Dan did great work and is a really nice guy. He had to plane the screen doors to fit in the door frames, and installed and adjusted the spring hinges and latches so that everything worked and closed nicely. He also planed the interior doors as needed so that they'd close again. One of those doors was the one to our hall bathroom -- our guests are much happier now with a bathroom door that actually closes!

d After the initial visit and discussion in which I showed him a photo from Sunset magazine (naturally) of what I hoped it would look like, Dan bought materials and built the gate out of redwood, adding a nice black wrought iron latch. He also did minor cement repair patch on 2 back steps. He did all this in one day. Every thing was tidy and I am pleased with the results.

Dan has accomplished more than a dozen projects at my home, and has plumbed, painted, installed and everything else on his business cards. Dan is conscientious, fair, and complete; the first time, every time. He is a "best of kind" in my book.

He was professional, on time, and called to verify the appointment before he arrived. His workmanship was good as well and I had a satisfactory experience with him.

job done in workmanlike manner. not perfect, but certainly adequate. He bought the door at home depot, which in itself was a big help, since I have no truck, then installed it.

Everything turned out well. No issues with the service and cleaned up afterward.

He did a wonderful job. Before he left I had him do another job replacing the innards of a Moen shower faucet.

Dan called the day before to confirm a 2 p.m. appointment and arrived on time. He tackled all of our items, including fixing a light fixture outside, a light fixture in the kitchen, tightening a light on a light fixture on a high ceiling, fixing a motion detector light, and changing a toilet seat. The price was so reasonable and Dan was friendly, professional, and definitely knew what he was doing. I will most certainly call him the next time we need repairs done!

Dan arrived on the date and time agreed to. He presented very well, was properly clothed. The reason I mentioned this is that a previous technician ( not for the same job ) showed up in shorts and a dirty t-shirt and reeked. I did not hire that one. Dan had all the necessary tools, he performed the job cleanly, quickly and competently. I would not have any reservations whatsoever to have him again for jobs around the house..

As per usual Dan arrived on time! We discussed how I wanted the shelves in my hall closet, carefully measured and the. Went out and got the material. Our older home is always a little off standard, but the shelves turned out great. Dan is a meticulous craftsman and so skilled at everything!

He is just a superman - handyman! Response fast, come to the appointment on time and service is just very efficient and professional.

Dan responded to my phone call within a couple of hours, made an appointment for a week from that date. He arrived on time, looked at what needed to be done, estimated the time he would need to spend; he works in 2-4 hour increments. We needed some supplies which he purchased. He is very organized and efficient and worked quickly. He cleaned up very well and left any left over supplies. He charges by the hour and of course for any supplies he purchased.

FANTASTIC! Dan is super professional and very punctual. He told us precisely what he knows he can do and does not want to attempt. I am about to call him for another appointment to fix more things. Dan is a real craftsman. So glad he's in my neighborhood.

Dan is always on time and always extremly professional. His work is of excellent quality and he always leaves the place clean. He can fix or repair almost anything... Both my husband and I are always very satisfied with his work. I plan to continue using him for any home repairs for many more years. I highly recommend Dan for anything that may need repair in the house.
