Dan the Handyman

Description of Work: I had a list of repair items: (1) install new trim for the interior front door frame; (2) fix a sliding closet door that had fallen off its track; (3) realign and reinstall a bedroom door that didn't close properly; (4) replace the socket and attached wiring for a wall sconce; and (5) fix a driveway gate that was sagging. Dan completed all the tasks in a methodical and professional manner and cleaned up everything. If there was an unexpected problem, he explained what it was and found a way to deal with it. He was great. I will hire him again when I need repair work done.

Description of Work: Dan showed up and took measurements and made suggestions. Ordered the screen and came back to install. He did a great job and offered a referral for glass shelves. He's a keeper.

Description of Work: Buy and install new smoke detectors, buy and install toilet flush handles, Fix towel bar, repair baseboards in pantry, fix closet door.

Description of Work: Dan arrived exactly on time (he confirmed the night before), and installed new hooks on all the (1940s) kitchen cabinets and repaired a handle on a (new!) refrigerator that had come off. He worked efficiently, quietly, was very professional and low key. I would absolutely hire him again.

Description of Work: DO: Dan arrived promptly and installed my new sink, garbage disposal, and faucet -- everything looks and works beautifully. He also hung a bathroom shelf and a large mirror which were not in the original order but he added them with no complaining. THERE ARE NO DON'TS: I have no complaints - Dan is friendly, clean and finishes work in a timely manner. I already have him looking for a new bathroom fan and a new kitchen fan which I would like him to install as soon as possible. All I can say is "Thank you Dan."

Description of Work: Our front door had become out of line from weather and sagging, the dead bolt would not bolt. Dan was able to adjust the hinges and the dead bolt. We haven't had a problem with it since. Dan was very professional and fair with the pricing of his services. We would definitely use him again!

Description of Work: Danny showed up on time, performed what was requested in a timely fashion and within the bid provided. Dan came up with a gameplan that was less expensive and more sturdy that what we had envisioned. He cleaned up everything and left the place better than he found it. He is very pet friendly, professional and honest. He is respectful about not "up selling", being mindful of the stated budget and desired outcome. We will definitely work with him again (have already done so). He will definitely be on the "short list" of folks that we can trust and use again.

Description of Work: Dan replaced a door and did a fine job. He is very neat and needed little direction. He even bought the new door from Home Depot and delivered it.
